No Irish wool in this shop
I was disappointed to see that their wool is not Irish, but comes in bulk from Italy. It doesn't say on the web-site but the customer is led to believe that it is irish from start to finish. Their storehouse is across the road, you will see boxes and boxes of Italian wool.

McKernan Woolen Mills are based in Tuamgraney Co. Clare and make wonderful scarves for men and women using natural yarns such as merino wool, cashmere, silk, alpaca and linen. They welcome visitors to their mill and shop. During the Covid-19 restrictions I purchased one of their ladies Nemo range and was very pleased with their attention through email and home delivery within 5 days of order. I had purchased from their Cosmo range earlier through the House of Ireland Shop in Dublin and can highly recommend these very fashionable scarves for both personal use or as gifts.
