Rude to handicap people using EBT

Drive thru, used code from app for discount and ebt. Andrea stated that the ebt machine was broken and I had to come inside. I believe reason it wasn't working was because they pull the machine and it loses connection. I am Handicap had to hobble inside. Wait for cashier to input order again. Then Andrea still had to come over and use ebt but since she canceled order from drive thru I lost my 20% discount. No offer to make it right even any discount. I explained how the machine loses connection. She aggressively argues with me. Stated if I wasn't using EBT everything would be fine. Then doesn't offer to help me take my order to car. Worse experience I've ever had.

Give them a half star for price gouging. This is suppose to be fast cheap food but I just bought 4 Big Arch meals for 60 dollars. Your sandwich isn't worth it. I can get Applebee's a meal for 4 cheaper then this. I can also get 4 medium pizzas and bread sticks at pizza hut cheaper then this. I never thought McDonald's would take advantage of people. They proved me wrong.

My review specifically deals with the McDonald's Arch Card. I received a $25 Arch Card for Christmas. The card was immediately placed in my wallet. The card is defective because when swiped at the restaurant the POS terminal gives an error. So the magnetic strip is faulty. I asked for the manager so he could manually enter the card number and PIN into the register. Google says there is an option for this in the manager functions at the register. I have tried several times to walk the MANAGER of the restaurant through the process. They cannot or will not help me. They tell me to call the customer service number. When you call that number there is NO option to speak to a human. You get an email template and they determine, without your input, if they will send you a replacement or not. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for them to respond. All this time my $25 has been held by a millionaire franchise owner and I have nothing. So I thought, "I'll order online!" So I downloaded the app and went through the pain in the butt process of placing the order and the address and phone number and only when I get to the payment part of the app do I find out that there is NO option to order McDonald's products online using the Arch Card!

Mr. Millionaire McDonald's franchise owner you have more of these 'gift cards' at every register. You sell them online but we can't USE them online. You also sell them at any retail store that carries gift cards to other retail stores. I wonder what percentage of people just give up. So you just keep their money? There is NO avenue for the consumer to troubleshoot or handle this issue. Therefore it is logical to conclude that you are intentionally stealing money from a certain percentage of everyone that enters your store. THIEF!
There was a time when such behavior would cause bad publicity for a business. Customers would simply take their business elsewhere and you would go bankrupt. I hope people wake up soon and unite again. If only to keep greedy thieves from continuing to steal from their customers.

Mcdonald's are awful. Ordered McMuffin Burger on app with bonus points and the app froze. Also ordered separate part of the meal through the app and paid on card. Turned up to the restaurant to collect and nothing came through. Lost my points and my money! Walked away with nothing! Awful service and experience

It's scary when your order is missing a half of burgers you paid and you already paid for them but actually there's nowhere to send a complaint or request a refund. Chat is horrible, not able to use it, no phone, no email address, disgraceful.
They're sending you to ubereats which is fraudulent as the day is long. Terrible! Never ever!

Failed to meet even my low expectations!!
Its hard to know where to start...
Firstly the App is atrocious - about 10 steps to order a coffee and today it excelled - it took me 15 mins, 3 app crashes and a load of hassle to cancel an order from December that the app decided to resubmit.
So, after 10 mins at the counter, and some McDs employees with some horrible attributes, someone came to help me and explain how to use it... it was more than a little condescending (I am IT literate), eventually they gave up too - the app really is awful!
So, 25+ mins of hassle and my Latte finally arrived! But it was only half full (typical of this location, they do undersized servings routinely), so I asked to receive a full cup. Which then arrived.
I left the store and had a sip, but scorched my mouth, the missing half of my latte has been filled up with boiling water!!! The pain aside, it was undrinkable (half latte, half water is bad!!).
After 30 mins and more interactions with more staff with bad attitudes I just took it back and left it with them - life is too short for bad coffee and arguments!
But, I thought that McDs should know, and also heck, they could refund me the £2.89!! So, I used the app to leave feedback - turns out its a bot, it crashed a couple of times and took 15 mins to even leave feedback - I should have learned my lesson.
So, 4 hours later, I get an email asking me to go into the app (which is now uninstalled - never again) and get the receipt, take an image of it, transfer it to my laptop and email it to them. They also asked for my email address (yep, the one that they had just used to email me).
So, I'm done, I'm not going to argue with McDs over £2.89 - if they don't want to refund it, then they can keep it. It'll be the last they see of me, the app is deleted from my phone and I feel happier, my routine coffee when I walk the dog can come from somewhere else - at least I won't get miserable/rude people and half measures.
Corporate thieves
Try to place an order through their app which in turn ordered for a completely different location I was in. Contacted customer services and they refused to give me a refund even though I got no food and no one in-store would help me.
Will never be buying McDonald's again as they are a shameless corporate entity.
