We visited a few weeks ago and had a lovely meal, pizza really good however we returned last night and had a dreadful meal, one pizza was 'sloppy', it was so wet it was impossible to tell what was cheese or base, they did replace it but returned with one that was mainly tomato. So our experience was mixed, one very very good and one very poor, so at best inconsistent so unfortunately have decided not to chance a return.

I have mixed feelings about this place, as my friend who I was with had a lovely meal which she enjoyed, whereas my Lasagne lacked flavour which I told the Owners wife when she asked us how is our food. I was later told by her that it contained both Pork and Beef I was a little bit shocked hearing that as it does not say it on the menu. All previous lasagnes that I have had in restaurants over the years(and I've had many)have only ever contained beef. They told me that the traditional way of cooking this dish is pork and beef mixed and the Manager even got his phone out to show me this on a Google search, but he could not find it and walked away.
We sat by the door which was very draughty and found ourselves constantly having to keep shutting it. I am told by friends who have visited that the Pizzas are the best, so if I ever visited again I would have that instead.
I told the Owner and his wife that some people(Not me) don't eat Pork(sometimes for religious reasons) and would have no idea that their Lasagnes contain this; so just as a suggestion it would be a good idea to include it in the menu that Lasagne may include Pork as most people I know have Beef in a lasagne, plus all restaurants I've ever been to only had beef.
Sadly the chef got the wrong end of the stick and got a little feisty, not sure if he thought I was criticising his cooking, we tried to be fair with him and explain, but we felt he didn't want to listen to us and he seemed to suddenly get quite argumentative. He then went to get his wife who was not on the premises at the time. She was a lot calmer and listened to us, the Owner assumed we did not want to pay for our meal and gave us £0 bill. That was not our intention, we paid the Full amount still. We were quite shocked at his behaviour towards us.
My friend was pleased with her dish so it wasn't all bad.
We sat at a table we wanted to sit at. Owner asked if it was ok if the door could be opened, I said it was quite draughty due to the day being a bit cooler and he didn't object that I said No to the door being closed.

We, my sister, her boyfriend, and I, recently went to this Italian restaurant, to help me celebrate my birthday, from the moment(s) that we arrived,(my sister and I arrived first, shortly followed by her boyfriend) we were all greeted warmly, by members of the family, who own and run the restaurant, firstly by Maurizio's wife, who runs front of house, and by Maurizio himself, who was the chef she showed us all to our tables, and gave us glasses of water to drink after we were seated, we also shared a bottle of wine, between us, as well as giving us menus to order from, they also had a special offer meal of the day, which we all decided to have, as it was described to us so well, the starter, homemade beef ragu, drizzled in olive oil, with mozzarella, on homemade bruschetta bread, the main was Parma Pizza, which was a thin crust pizza, topped with Parma Ham, Mozzarella cheese, Rocket Salad and fior de latte, with a dash of balsamic vinegar, and a dessert of tiramisu, the meal, the service, and the atmosphere in the restaurant were absolutely first class, and I want to go back there again, I was so impressed, that I wrote a review of the meal and restaurant on Tripadvisor as well.

Disappointed, not by the food (which is ok, not superb, but ok), but by the attitude of the manager who is the kind of barker who would even try to sell her mother...
