I learned a lot from the course on www. George is a skilled tutor who simplifies complex concepts, making them accessible for beginners. While the course delivers valuable insights, it could dive deeper into advanced topics like business branding and investor relationships. Overall, a great starting point for newcomers in this field.
🚨 Warning - Do not Invest in Rently Academy
🚨 Warning:
Poor Communication & Lack of Support 🚨
I invested in Master BNB Academy Class expecting quality guidance, but unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing. After making my investment, I reached out multiple times with questions and requests, yet I received no response. Their lack of customer support is frustrating and unprofessional.
If you're considering investing in this program, think twice before committing. A company that ignores its clients after taking their money raises serious red flags. Look for transparent, reliable alternatives that support their students and investors. I will need to take it further legally. I wonder how many people you have been scamming so far.
❌ Not recommended! ❌
Rently Academy is indeed a scam
ently Academy is indeed a scam. There is no trace of them now, and I’ve had no further contact through the Capital Club, for which I paid £3,000 to join. It’s shocking how they’ve vanished after promising lifetime property sourcing.
A. Baskaran, I’m keen to learn about any legal action you’re pursuing. I tried to find you on Facebook and other social media platforms but had no luck. Please let me know how we can connect.
DEFINITION OF SCAMMERS
DEFINITION OF SCAMMERS! PLEASE DO NOT SPEND A PENNY ON THEM.. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND PRETEND TO HELP YOU FOR A FEW MONTHS AND THEN TAKE YOU OFF THE GROUP. I PAID ALMOST 5000 TO BE IN THEIR SO CALLED CAPITAL CLUB WHICH IS MEANT TO BE LIFETIME ACCESS. I SUBSCRIBED I JULY 2024 AND STOPPED HEARING FROM THEM COMPLETELY I DECEMBER 2024. I AM. NOW SEEING TAT THEY'VE APPLIED TO DISSOLVE THEIR COMPANY. I AM GOING TO TAKE THIS MATTER LEGALLY. IF ANYONE WISHES TO JOIN ME, PLEASE CONTACT ME
RENTAL ACADEMY IS A SCAM, avoid!!
When registering, you will be told the course if for life time and it's a complete lie, after paying almost £1,000 for the course, they started to ask for subscription and more money, i declined their subscription and now I don't have access to the course I paid for even when I emailed them and they stated I will have access to my course even if I opted out of their subscription, their Facebook group has been paused since last year and they are no longer responding to their emails. BIG TIME SCAMMERS. Avoid them.
Scammers, don't give them any money !!!
Scammers ! My previous post seems to have disappeared on here !
1. I paid for the initial online training which gave access to online training to setup a Short Term Rental business, which actually seemed ok, but nothing you couldn't get for Free on YouTube. This cost me £97 per month for 12 months.
2. After I had completed this and was getting frustrated in obtaining properties from landlords, they advertised their "Capital Club". This was followed by a webinar when they shown 15 amazing properties that were available and could be applied for after joining the Capital Club for £4997. A property a day would also be advertised, all properties has the usual "finders fee" discounted to £0. A win win, or so I thought.
3. None of the original properties from the webinar were "available" anymore, but I thought I had just been beaten by other members. I then started to receive the "daily" property emails, but these properties were run down, not in great areas and all needed work carried out to make them lovable. Even some needed furnishing, which apparently the Capital Club members didn't need to do.
4. I emailed Zeea who is the Capital Club manager and who sends out the "Daily Properties" to complain about the condition, but all I received was a long list of properties that were still available.
5. But then I got super punch again !! A WhatsApp text went out to all Capital Club members with 2 properties in central London, one in Covent Garden and one in Mayfair. Both were up for auction by 7pm that night. I did my numbers based on the properties and decided that I would go with the Covent Garden property. I bid right on 7pm and paid the £497 deposit to obtain the property.
6. I had 24 hours to pay the remaining £4000.
7. The next morning I replied to a "congratulations" whatsapp message from Lyna and Gabriella, as I had a few questions before payment was made. The wording on the initial text said the finders fee was £4497, but I was part of the Capital Club and there are no finders fees.Neither replied, so I emailed Alyssa who confirmed that the £4497 covered the first months rent and deposit and finders fee.
8. I stupidly paid the remaining £4000. Then Lyna did reply to my message and told me that the fee was ONLY a finders fee, because this was NOT part of the Capital Club. I therefore asked for a full refund, as they had mislead me, as they text me as part of my Capital Club membership, which included NO finders fees.
9. They even sent me the contract which has so many grey areas, that there was no way I would have signed it. Lots of clauses to say if the property was not available (if the landlord had changed their mind, or other various reasons) no refunds etc etc !
10. This was on the 18th September and I have been sending emails and texts ever since.
11. they did actually refund me my £497 deposit, but said they would refund me the £4000 over an 18 month period. I have refused this on many occasions as I told them they could have done this to many people and could just close the company, so therefore my 18 month agreement would be closed down.
It looks like that is exactly what they are trying to do !
So in total, I paid £1200 for the online training course, £4997 to become a member of the Capital Club and £4497 for a Covent Garden property that never really existed.
Although I feel pretty stupid, this needs to be shared to help others !
Please stay away from these liars and thieves !!!
Avoid this company like a plague
Avoid this company like a plague! They are nothing but scammers! Very sketchy individuals! It’s crazy because Lyna who’s their representative looks so innocent! Absolutely appalling how they are deceiver! I paid a total of £4497 that yielded nothing! And to think they tried taking £297 just like that like I am a bank. I have opened a fraudulent case against them, but I highly doubt they’ll refund reading from the previous reviews.
Run! If you are lucky enough to read the reviews before investing such an amount! Be warned!
There should not be any star options…Rently Academy, RM Academy, Capital Club!
There should not be any star options for this fraudulent company. I have signed up the Rently Academy back July 2024 and it was a life time access course but I found out they are scammers that keep changing their registered company names. They even tried to take out unauthorised payment from my bank accounts, I paid the course in full, they have refused to refund me and the only thing left to do is taking legal action against them.
I promise to search their names for n registered companies online and create an awareness of these scammers. Imagine the people they ripped off more than 5K?
I hope anyone scammed found solution to get back their funds.
FRAUD
I subscribed to their “Black Friday deal” for £1 on 27/12/24, first few days I still have access to their modules. However, on December 7th their website or rather their “Shopify” platform, became completely inaccessible. I promptly sent an email to their customer service department regarding the issue, and they informed me that it was a technical problem that would be resolved soon. A few days later, I sent a separate email address update but I have not received any further response from them. This situation strongly suggests that it is a SCAM!!
They’re closing down!
WARNING - On 4 December 2024, RM Academy Limited applied to have their company dissolved. They have already removed their YouTube channel.
They are trying to close down and take everyone’s money.
If they have ripped you off, please seek legal advice immediately.
Update: Today (19 December 2024) RM Academy Limited have sent another email to Capital Investor Club members, this time offering a property in London NW11. They want the people they have taken money from to think that it’s business as usual. The regular emails will cease when the company is dissolved.
Please look up RM Academy Limited on Companies House website. Go to ‘filing’ and you’ll see their application to close down the company.
FRAUD FRUAD FRAUD
SCAMMERS TAKING MORE MONEY ILLEGALLY.
8 months after I signed up to this programme, they have just taken another £297 illegally from my bank account!!! I had nothing but issues when it first began and have reported them many times, now 8 months later they’re trying to do it all over again.
About time the police found these low lives.
Rently Scam Academy really just tried…
Rently Scam Academy really just tried to take £297 payment today from my account which I never subscribed to from last year when I said I didn't want to go ahead. An email from them also said they will try monthly until it goes through!!! With no contact to unsubscribe and broken links!! Psychos.
Scammed, Lied To, and Left Helpless. Avoid Rently Academy Like the Plague!
I am beyond devastated. I trusted Rently Academy ( same as master.bnbacademyclass) with £4,000 of my life savings, money that took me years to put together, and now, I'm left in tears, stressed, and utterly helpless—while also being pregnant and trying to protect my future. If you’re reading this and considering working with them, please run the other way. This company is not just incompetent—they are misleading, dishonest, and downright unethical.
Here’s How They Took My Money:
I was drawn to Rently Academ by an advertisement for a 1-bed, 1-bath apartment in Birmingham B1, with rent at £990 per month and a potential yearly income of £38,095 - £53,289. The initial fees were supposed to be £500 for the admin and holding fee, with £3,500 due only after viewing for the first month's rent, deposit, and finder’s fees. However, they suddenly told me I had 24 hours to pay the £3,500 before I could even view the property.
I had just been scammed on Facebook a day before, so in my desperation, I trusted them, believing they were legitimate given how “big” they seemed. I paid the full £4,000, and that’s where my nightmare began.
1. They Took My Money and Sent Me the Wrong Contract
After paying, they sent me a contract that had absolutely nothing to do with the property I had agreed to rent. Instead of the 1-bed, 1-bath unit in Birmingham B1, the contract was for a 2-bed, 1-bath unit in Birmingham and another random property in Mayfair. The worst part? The contract included a 26-year lease with no termination clause—something that was never disclosed or agreed upon.
I requested a refund within 48 hours, asking them to return my rent and deposit, letting them keep the £500 admin fee. They outright refused, even though the contract they sent was not correct and therefore void.
2. Forced to Schedule a Viewing — for the Wrong Property!
When I pushed for a viewing, they scheduled it, but again, it was for a completely different property that had nothing to do with what I originally paid for. The address they provided was in a different area altogether. How can a company mess up something so fundamental? It’s either sheer incompetence or outright malice—take your pick!
3. Ignored My Explicit Instructions and Kept My Money
I even left a note with the incorrect contract, clearly stating that it should not be acknowledged until I was contacted to confirm the details. Did they bother to call? No. But they had no problem holding onto my money.
Despite all these glaring errors and blatant misrepresentations, they are refusing to refund my £3,500. I was more than willing to let them keep the £500 for admin fees, but their refusal to return the remaining amount is nothing short of theft.
Legal Grounds? They Don’t Care
They are blatantly in breach of the Misrepresentation Act 1967 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They advertised one property, took my money, then sent me contracts for something completely different. Holding onto my funds without delivering the promised services is unlawful, plain and simple.
Even More Red Flags
They refuse to call back from a number that appears to be a UK number but is untraceable.
Check their records on HMRC—there are no financial reports, and they change directors every 2 months, which is highly suspicious and indicative of shady business practices.
Final Warning: Stay Away from Rently Academy
This company preys on people’s trust, takes their money, and delivers nothing but stress, frustration, and despair. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not engage with Rently Academy. Their business practices are misleading, unethical, and downright scammy.
I am now having to pursue legal action just to get my money back. I’ve kept every single piece of correspondence and reported them to every consumer rights body I can think of.
If you’re considering using their services, please, trust me—avoid them at all costs. They will take your money and leave you broken, just like they did to me.
Zero stars if I could give it that. Run as far away as you can!
Rently dont you dare reply to this because you have my email already but you Effers dont want to reply me with my refund! when theres no contract!! its not the right info! i never view just send my mney back! and or this will be thee forever. scammers!!!
Unfortunately I know 6 people that have…
Unfortunately I know 6 people that have been scammed from their program and live streams. I was so close to investing until someone messaged me the next day from the group saying they got scammed alongside 5 others. Ask for their contract before you pay for anything. They have some shady clauses on it.I wish it was a legit company but unfortunately they have been scamming people left right and centre with paid actors in their testimonies and even the 5star reviews are paid. I have so much evidence it’s ridiculous guys.

So 4th review,
So 4th review,
This is a very basic course, doesn’t dive deep into marketing your business and occupy your properties, don’t talk about branding, they don’t give you the blueprint of making relationships with investors and clients, it doesn’t tell you how truly hard it is to run this business. They are selling you a dream by making it look very easy, it’s not easy at all, they don’t tell you how often you will be rejected by landlords because you’re new to the business. It’s very hard to get your foot into the door in this business. Their competitor Yusuf Shiek sells his course for £6000 but it’s well worth it. You get so much more information out of it. At the end you also get the opportunity to work directly with Yusuf that benefits both you as a beginner in the business and Yusuf and his team. If you’re serious about this business don’t buy this course, all the information in here is available for free on YouTube with more in depth information. They also don’t tell you about small details like painting your wall a certain colour or making the properties into a certain theme attracts more customers and make you stand out and will increase your occupancy rate. This is a rookies course, they are only after your money that’s all.
