Major scam; No customer service; Vindictive employees!

Bought a TV and all went well. Bought a second TV and it showed up broken (and late). took 20 days to get a replacement TV ... which was also broken!

At the 20 days past transaction mark I escalated with PayPal. Massdrop threatened to no longer work with me while the PayPal escalation was in place. This is even though once escalated, PayPal allows for another 20 days for the vendor to work with the customer to make things right!.

Once reviewed by PayPal, Massdrop demanded the TV be returned to them. I had to pay $247 in return shipping for a documented (video and pics of unboxing) broken TV!!! When they received the broken TV at their California address on file with PayPal, they held on to it for 6 days before handing it back to UPS "return to sender"!

Massdrop has gone out of their way to make this as expensive and drawn out as possible. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Scummy business practices

Scummy business practices, when I tried ordering my product they tried charging me with 2. The one i selected didn't have 4 day shipping and is taking 2 weeks to ship. I'll never order from them again.

I got caught up in this company's scam…

I got caught up in this company's scam as a lot of other people have. If you check there deals with other online sites, you will find most are no deals at all and your items are paid for in full about a month and a half before you even get the item.It is a smart way for this company to get a free loan of you money before you get your product. Also, there customer service is non-existent as others have stated. STAY AWAY.

Best customer support E V E R

I purchase quite a lot from this site. The prices are great, the community is helpful and the products displayed are of high quality.
But that's not why I rushed in at 5am to write this.
About two years ago, I purchased a pair of headphones for 200$ (and a couple more for shipping), they were great until the right side of the headphones started malfunctioning lately. I contacted their help center and got a reply within a day or two, offering me a completly new pair - free of any charge. I just had to confim my adress and the new pair is on its way.
They even paid for the shipping of the broken pair back to them.

I've never had such an experience with any online site, and I order online quite a lot.
I recommend massdrop to all my friends, and to whoever reads this review.

Excellent deals and customer service

I've been buying from massdrop for years now. While it's disappointing when a goal price isn't met or an item is sent out slowly, you can always find a great deal. It's a trade-off but if you do your research it works out great!

A few weeks ago I bought some shorts and found that they were much smaller than listed on the site. I didn't expect much but I contacted support and they gave me a full refund, completely beating my expectations!

Got a LG OLED65E7p TV for $2400. Cost at Amazon and bestbuy is 3999.99 and does not include taxes and shipping. Got my tv before the shipping date. Everything worked great no damage no complaints. Had to email customer service once to verify purchase and heard back within hours. I tell all my friends to check out this site before making a large purchase. You might have to wait awhile but when you can save as much as 50% it is worth it. A++++

Billed Me For Two Of The Same Item

I found out this morning I was billed for two items at Massdrop when I only ordered one. Contacted Massdrop via email and still haven't heard from them. Going to my credit card now and dispute the charge. At this point I think they are legitimate although I'm not impressed with their customer service and, be watchful of your transactions with this company. Satisfaction with the resolution of this case will determine if I order anything else through them.

Update: Massdrop did contact me and dropped one of the two charges. Made it sound like they were doing me a favor and it was not always possible to drop a charge dependent upon when the items are shipped. Ok, that's acceptable, but still no real explanation of how it was billed twice to begin with...I am sure it was not my error. So in summary, rec'd my item and am happy with it but will keep a very close eye on future orders with this company until they prove to be more reliable.

The worst online purchasing experience…

The worst online purchasing experience so far. We by lots of stuff online, mostly Amazon, who are nothing but awesome. I bought a DAC from these Yahoos, as the audiophile forums had suggested it. First had to wait for the "drop" to occur, then I ordered. Shipping was then about a month away. Then shipping was delayed due to the supplier. Finally shipping happened and I was excited. I was provided a tracking #. Suddenly updates on the tracking number stopped. I contacted CS who said that shipper does not provide full tracking info, even though the email I got said they did. 3 weeks have gone by and no information and now CS has stopped responding to my emails. Stay very, very far away from Massdrop.

I have just been rolled over by Massdrop

My item has shipped from the USA, it hasn't arrived yet when they tell me the drop was set up with the wrong colour! Their mistake!

I am left with an Item in the wrong colour I will get charged UK Customs AND a Post Office £8 charge on top

Their solution me send it back at my expense for a $5 refund

Keep if and get a $10 coupon to use at Massdrop

When you look at the items they offer, check how many are actually available. I was looking for a headphone amp and see 32 listed..2 are available. What a joke.

1. No direct line to contact someone for instant resolution. Took multiple days to get a response for where my order was via e-mail...
2. A promised drop date of 4/10 was left delayed until 4/20 and while an update was promised on 4/20, no attempt to update customers was made.
3. The wait times are ridiculous compounding with the fact that shipping time isn't very ideal.

Not very professional

The way they deal with there charging is needlessly complected, and in addition they leave you liable for the import duty. They might have said something of this in there small print, but it was not made clear,s so I was unaware. This made my headphones coast an extra 25% more than advertised, also coursing a delay in shipping. This could be forgivable if things were clearer and most importantly if they could be bothered to answer any of the queries I sent them.

The premise of the company is a great idea though, would be nice if it was implemented by professionals.
I cant imagine i will ever use them again.

Good and fast customer service

My package was send to a nonexisting adress, i'm pretty sure my adress was right when i checked out. So better check again after you bought something and it is about to be shipped. The package will be going back, but the support was fast, friendly and i got a full refund.

Great discounts and outstanding customer service

I recently started ordering outdoor gear from Massdrop, and it is awesome. Their business model seems to be a lot like Zulily, but Zulily doesn't sell anything that I'm interested in. Massdrop's "ultralight" section actually has outdoor products that I find really exciting and the discounts are huge.

But the reason for my 5-star review is that I just had my first interaction with their customer service department. I ordered a couple of things today, not realizing that they would ship to my current address after my planned move-out date (I just gave notice to vacate my current apartment). I clicked the button on each order to contact support, and someone responded within 10 minutes saying the address had been updated on each order. That's some serious, Amazon-grade customer service, and it totally deserves kudos. Thanks!

Just as everybody else in these reviews …

Just as everybody else in these reviews have said, it is an absolutely horrible experience. I ordered two watches within a week of each other, and it has now been 3 MONTHS and I have not received either watch. They claim it is an issue with their vendors.
I will be taking legal action if I don't receive my paid for products within the next two weeks.

I recently made my first purchase. I only received 1/2 off the purchase. I was billed for the full amount.
They do not have a customer service phone number. I can't talk to a human. They show fed ex delivery and that is that? !!!! I have tried filling out the customer service request for resolution. I do not get a response. After 7 days, I am going to call my bank and dispute the charge
