The verification process is ridiculous and impossible…
The verification process is impossible and absurd. After sending a lot of documents (my bank statement, a photo of me with my id card, and a lot of more things) now they're asking a screenshot of my crypto wallet where I withdrew, showing my email and my name, which is absurd, because the crypto wallet is anonymous, doesn't show that data. Now they told me through email that I need to contact to my bank for this, which is ridiculous, because is a crypto wallet, it lives in the blockchain, not in a bank.
Marathonbet stole $2,991.92 from me with fake “Bet Settlement Corrections” after big Roulette wins – unacceptable!
I deposited money and played a mix of sports betting and casino games (Blackjack and especially Roulette) on Marathonbet. My biggest wins came from Roulette. Everything looked normal — bets settled correctly with green checkmarks and accurate results. My balance reached $6,644.92.
Then, on 11 April 2026 at exactly 16:44, Marathonbet suddenly added more than 20 “Bet settlement correction” entries within a single minute. Many were labeled as “adjustment” with zero explanation. Immediately after, a large negative entry of -$3,653 was applied, wiping out most of my winnings.
I was able to withdraw $3,653, but $2,991.92 is still missing without any justification whatsoever.
Key problems:
All corrections happened simultaneously in one minute — extremely suspicious.
No single bet or Roulette spin was ever disputed or showed wrong results when first settled.
Clear pattern: Win big (especially on casino) → mass corrections → money disappears.
No bonus abuse, no rule violations — just legitimate play.
Support is now ghosting or giving evasive replies. Communication is heavily restricted.
I have played on many other platforms (Bet365, Pinnacle, Stake, BC.Game, Vave, Sportsbet.io, William Hill) and have never experienced such a blatant tactic.
This feels like deliberate theft of legitimate winnings. Marathonbet operates under a weak Curaçao license and seems to have no problem erasing player balances with unexplained “corrections”.
I have full evidence:
Screenshots of Bet History (including Roulette wins)
Account History showing the mass corrections at 16:44
Support chat
Balance before: $6,644.92
I have already filed complaints with AskGamblers and will escalate to Curaçao ADR, Swiss authorities, and wherever necessary.
Warning to others: If you win at Marathonbet — especially on Roulette or casino games — be prepared for your balance to be “corrected” into nothing. Stay away or play only with very small amounts you can afford to lose completely.

DO NOT PLAY ON THIS SITE, THEY ASKED FOR VERIFICATION, I SENT MY PASSPORT, A BANK STATEMENT. AT FIRST THE STATEMENT DIDN'T COME, I SENT IT FROM ANOTHER BANK. I THOUGHT THEY VERIFIED IT.
THEY SENT ME A PHOTO WITH MY PASSPORT IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE MONITOR SCREEN WHERE THEIR LETTER AND MY MAIL WILL BE VISIBLE. I SENT IT, AND THEY TELL ME THAT THE MAIL IS NOT VISIBLE, TAKE A PHOTO AGAIN. WHAT IS THIS?, WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE TOWARDS PEOPLE? IT'S NOT SERIOUS. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS CRAP

Marathon bet, a swindler bookmaker.
If you're seeing this review before signing up with this bookmaker, congratulations. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BOOKMAKER @MarathonBet. They're thieves. I made a deposit of over $130 (convert to NGN) and I wagered same on a single bet. After winning the bet, these rogues have subjected me to an indefinite verification process/requirements. Both my deposit and my winnings, they took all. Everyone responsible for swindling people in marathon bet, may God bless you immensely.

These ones just want losers
These ones just want losers, win by chance and get your money stolen, no need trying their verification.
Don't use these, stick to the trusted ones

Do not trust this company
I'm extremely disappointed with Marathon's handling of this bet. Voiding my wager due to “incorrect event data” after the game is unacceptable. Bettors place wagers in good faith, and it’s the company’s responsibility to ensure the data is accurate beforehand. This kind of action undermines trust. I hope Marathon improves transparency and reliability going forward.
MARATHONBET CONFISCATED 810EURO AFTER FULLY VERIFYING MY ACCOUNT
For some months i had a good experience with them as i made several deposits and succesful withdrawals. So they earned my trust and i was keeping a high balance on my account, 400 500 600 euro because the withdrawals were instant and they had not asked for verification.Saturday 7 November they asked for verification with 810euro balance and restricted the withdrawals. AFTER 3 DAYS I COMPLETED ALL THE DOCUMENTS THEY REQUESTED AND I RECEIVED AN EMAIL THAT MY ACCOUNT WAS FULLY VERIFIED BUT THEY HAD DECIDED TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND TO SETTLE ALL THE 1000BETS I HAD PLACED WITH ODD 1.00 SO I HAD NO REMAINNING BALANCE. MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINS BUT NO ONE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY.
Absolutely atrocious
Absolutely atrocious. KYC is so complicated. They ask for documents, then keep asking for other steps, so they can take the patience out of you, so you get tired and never withdraw your money. Very bad betting limits, very bad support. Without doing KYC you can deposit, but you can't withdraw, so they keep your money without you knowing that you have to go through a verification process.
All in all, wouldn't recommend at ALL, it's the worse bookmaker I have experienced.
Requested verification and documents…
Requested verification and documents with a balance of 20$) don't bet in this poor bookmaker
I won fair and square playing blackjack…
I won fair and square playing blackjack on marathon bets own blackjack table. they put my account on hold by telling me it was a random verification process which then turned to a standard verification process which then turned to my account being closed. no mail regarding that nothing, I just tried to login and it said account closed. dirty scammers. they have all the house edge to win the money in the long run but always choose to cheat.
