We had a difficult sale due to my buyer and their solicitor but Manning Stainton were brilliant especially Ann the convenience manager. Ann was fantastic at chasing all the relevant parties and keeping us informed throughout the whole process.

Overall we wanted good communication and to be kept in the loop, especially as first time buyers we weren't sure what hidden requirements would come up. Ann was great for this and kept us up to date with what was going on. Only marking down to a 4 because we felt we weren't kept in the loop before Ann got involved.

Completion day was smooth and they came to collect the sold sign promptly.

We also used their recommended mortgage advisor Emma Cousins who we found to be very great and efficient.

We were really pleased with all dealings with them.
I mostly dealt with Ann Rimmington.
She basically told me that during the whole process of buying the property, that she would check in each week, and keep us updated on how things were moving along, as there were 3 parties involved. She did exactly that, she kept us informed constantly, and made sure everyone was doing what was needed to keep the process moving as it should. She was there to answer all my questions. Thanks to the staff at the Wakefield branch and our move manager Ann Rimmington for persevering with our sale.
Without Ann I think the chain may have broken down. The whole process took 6 months and the communication between the solicitors was not great, she held it all together.
