Poor CS when things go wrong, bike differs from manufacturer specs

Ordered a bike on 1 Aug. There was some issue with the delivery, the bike was never delivered. It took dozens of messages with CS and calls with local carriers for them to actually acknowledge the problem, CS was just telling me to wait all the time. Even when I demanded a refund, they were still resisting. On Sep 13, they finally refunded me the money and I made a different order. I got my bike at the beginning of October, so it took them more then 2 months in total to deliver the bike to me. CS never offered any compensation and I had to ask for it twice (and got a 10% voucher, but couldn't use it for a bike).

The second thing is, they swap components on the bike so what you get is not according to the manufacturer specs. My bike came with no-name cranks and front chain ring (Cannondale website has Shimano). The cranks and front chain ring are SRAM compatible, rear cassette is Sunrace, rear detailer is Shimano. Service people I discussed this with are telling this combination might not work well and degrade the performance of the bike.

RESPONSE

On the one hand, I am happy that you don't dispute anything I've written in my review. I can try to explain my "surprising" negative rating.
- I was waiting 2 months for a bike instead of having a chance to ride it in the summer, incl. my summer vacation
- When I asked for a refund, you refused and said I need to wait some more
- We took 2 days off work to accept the delivery. On the first agreed date, the delivery company did not show up at all. On the second date, they did show up, but with a couch, not a bike 😭
- Full refund for a bike which you NEVER delivered is the BARE MINIMUM, not some great customer service
- You never offered any compensation, I actually had to ask for it twice
- I didn't get a jacket worth "nearly 100€", the catalogue price is actually 64.98€ and you are selling it for 34.79€ now. Full disclosure, I also got a pair of socks 😭

Hi, Jakub. Thank you for the taking the time to evaluate our site, though we are a bit surprised by how negatively you have evaluated the service you received. We understand your frustration with the lost package, but as explained there is a time period during which the courier tries to locate a lost parcel, and we must wait for this process to finish before we can provide a solution. We'd like to remind you that your money was completely refunded and when you purchased another bike you were compensated with a free cycling jacket worth nearly 100€, an arrangement that you agreed to. Regarding the components both our website and the Cannondale website warn that components may be modified without prior notification, again a condition that you were made aware of before your purchase and subsequently agreed to.

After sales customer service fixed a potential bad experience

Delivery estimates were a bit misleading. Ordered some socks, 2 identical pairs. 1 seems very discolored, hope it’s just dirty

Update:
Customer service has reached out and has made sincere apologies for the discolored sock and has since refunded me.

Great service

Great service, both a bike online. I was a bit suspicious in the beginning, bit they helpt me verry quickly every time I made contact with them, a little bit delay on the shipment but the bike came I a perfect condition, great work guys!
