The worst experience ever. Lady told me that "if we´ve had issues other people would´ve called." I was just trying to get some help because the site was giving error when trying to pay. Real nice cos... See more

Lately we have been having several issues with the post including missing letters, missing packages from abroad, packages received empty or even a package that was opened but at least it contained the ordered item. Yesterday I even picked up a package from a man living two streets away cause it was posted there! Contacted customer care by phone and by email but nothing changed!
Just a follow up from my previous review. The items shipped from Uk with the priority mail finally showed up and after complaining bitterly, Maltapost offered me a €10 discount voucher in compensation. I also received another item ordered with Priority mail in under a week!
Malta post is worthless. I send packages to the flat I rent there from UPS, FedEx and DHL and they arrive, yet with Malta post, they can't even find the address in Msida to deliver mail from their own banks. They are worse than a 3rd world country. They also employ the most incompetent people. Who hires people that don't even know what their job is? They are actually telling me to go to their main office because they are so lazy to deliver an envelope from the bank. I think BOV and Malta post compete for most unreliable and worst companies in Malta.
I need to advise everyone to not use the SendOn Service, especially from the US. Not only is the customer service terrible, but I also sent 4 emails before going to their live chat and even there they weren't helpful. I ended up speaking to a manager that was patronizing and didn't offer any answers. Every time I speak to someone the number of days for shipping get longer, 15, 20, 25 they really have no clue what they're doing. Now here's the kicker, I'm fine with the wait time.
But they don't offer a tracking service? What the hell?? Every carrier offers you the ability in 2019 to track your package from origin to destination. Nope not Malta Post, not only do you have to wait longer, than most other carriers. Seriously I've had packages from Asia arrive quicker, you can't even track your progress. So you're just left for about a month wondering what's happening and if it'll arrive. I don't understand the lack of this function.
Most importantly it's not advertised that way and since every other carrier provides this, it's become standard practice, it SHOULD be advertised that it is not provided. Overall there are other companies that for a little more provide a better service, that will get here much quicker and doesn't leave you with the stress. Seriously this was a gift for someone and they've totally ruined it. Trust Malta to take a great service and ruined it with its usual incompetence.
Seriously save your TIME and MONEY and don't use this service, I regret it and I'm suck in limbo.
I have been using the Malta Post SendOn service extensively, so far all my parcels have arrived in good order and a reasonable time using the U.K. standard hub. However, avoid the U.K. priority hub at all cost. Parcels seem to get "stuck" there. Item was delivered on the 10th of December 2018 and still has not been processed. Had numerous delays with this priority hub. Parcels from standard arrive before the priority hub. Premium price for substandard service.
