Finally after 6 years of inconvenience I am writing this review today... every time I think: next time it will be better but instead it is always worse...!! in 6 years I have lost around 500 euros of parcels that never arrived from every country, important objects, gifts of everything. Couriers don't deliver the mail ...or it gets lost... Once I found an invitation to a baptism on the ground near the building, other times the mail is put in other boxes... which my neighbors gave me sometimes they don't arrive! Once in the twin building next door a letter arrived and it was given to me after 3 months! Couriers often don't leave notices in the boxes but if you say that by following the track number online you see that it's in Malta they tell you that it's not true so then the package gets lost and you can't find it again, you don't have proof that it arrived and even if you see it with track number they tell you they know nothing about it. whoever answers the phone refers them to others, no one ever knows anything, never certain answers and if you insist they become rude and arrogant because you are a foreigner and they treat you like a fool! Malta Post employees at the counters don't even know that if you receive an automatic message from Malta Post on your mobile phone, it could have a number other than the prefix 00356 and they tell you they are scams 🤦 even if the message is in Maltese and is sent by services automatic. And as if that wasn't enough after 1 month chasing a package that never arrived and having gone to the Birzebbuga counter several times and despite everyone knowing me for years At the Birzebbuga counter they told me I couldn't withdraw. I've been collecting my husband's packages for 6 years because he can't get permission to go to the post office. I go with my ID card and photocopy the screenshot and number of my husband's document. today after 6 years and after having gone 4 times to look for a package that had been lost for a month they tell me that it was the colleague who made a mistake in delivering things to me in the 6 years preceding today... I told him that my husband was in Italy for a bereavement... the colleague next to me knew me very well... but today they woke up even more incompetent than usual! A poor, terrible service from incompetent people, no one can be saved from the employees at the counters, from the people who answer the phone, to the couriers! in a country not even 50 km long they manage to lose packages, be rude and not help the customer in difficulty they say they respect the rules but then they don't even know how to respect the basic rules of a postal service in a civilized country I think that in Africa and in the third world the service is better.
And you cant complain because you are stranger and they speak with you with arrogance
But dear workers of Malta post we stranger pay a lot for service of Malta post because send and receive many parcel from our country.

Today I went to Malta post in Gzira and they accept only cash which means that I need to go again to send my package! It is incredible that in 2024 post office does not accept cards!
Sorry I had to give them one star. I actually wanted 0 star. I have tried to call and email several times this day. My luggage is lost since monday (its thursday night at the moment). Even the AirPort straff can not get in reach with Malta post. company that is unable to reach in daytime, in nighttime. Via telephone and via email

I had two orders and one got delivered by DHL and one was supposed to be delivered by Malta Post. DHL sent an email of the delivery date and called me when my item had arrived while Malta Post did not phone me or ring the door bell and left a yellow delivery notice note, what is this service??? big No NO

Pray to not need this "service." I unfortunately needed it three times, and in all of them they don't deliver to my address, each time with a different excuse. Then I have to go to a post office to collect and pay to take what should be delivered, and the treatment follows the line of the rest of the company; they are rude with you and barely do the minimum.
I have used the services of other countries, and this is easily the worst!
Postman Didn't ring the bell and left me paper that i wasn't there.for sure i was there and postman didn't ring bell. I have a dog that when the bell rings barks so much that i can't not open door!! I notice this is not the first time he s doing this and heard other people complaining the same thing.
If I could give less than one star I would!
My mum has my parcel waiting at the post office and they will not give it to her!

Malta mail has got ridiculous my family have been sending post well over 60 yrs to this island and the general delivery time was 3 days but since Covid it takes up to 4 weeks+ still- sent Christmas cards 1st December 2023 and arrived a day or two before Christmas or after new year 2024.
Please Malta do something about this it’s ruining your reputation for mail

I never saw this in my life.
I had delivery scheduled for today 16.01.2024. and delivery guy just left a note saying I wasn’t at the adress which is not true.
I was at home but he didn’t rang or called me.
When I called support they told me they don’t call people, even tho I needed to put my phone number when ordering my package, and the only thing I can do is to go run and try to find and catch courier.
How rude can you be?

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at the San Gwann branch on Friday, January 12, 2024. I visited the branch from 10:00 am to 10:30 am to send out a registered mail
Two ladies were on duty at the time, the youngest and the oldest. I bought an envelope to send out the mail and wrote down the addresses. When I approached the youngest lady to send out the mail, she was busy with another task. She told me that the address I had written on the envelope was incorrect and that I had to change the envelope and write down the address again.
I did not appreciate the way she treated me. She was rude and impatient and did not offer any assistance or apology. I felt that she did it on purpose to avoid serving me and to finish her task. I think she has no interest or passion for her job, and I wonder how she got hired in the first place.
I do not think that such a disrespectful and unprofessional person should be working in a customer service position.
This is nothing but a scam!! We posted an important document registered mail August 2021 and according to tracking is still in Malta December 2023. Do not use Malta Post!!
I purchased insurance on an item shipped through multiple post. When it arrived, the package had been damaged and a part was missing. I have waited months but received no insurance reimbursement. MaltaPost closed their case and now I can’t even get a response from Malta post customer service as to why they did not reimburse for the damage.
