STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY WE HAVE…

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY WE HAVE BEEN LEFT DEVASTATED. Oh my goodness me. We viewed the Roller team 746 and they (a man there) gave us a price for ours to do a part exchange. It was agreed. Lots of work needed to be done on the 746 so we waited until it was ready. Last weekend my husband drove all the way up to collect our new MH. He got there and they said they wanted to lower the price of our MH. I spoke to a very stern lady called Lynne who said she was terminating the call, when I called to confront her about the situation. Don’t buy this MH, it was used by a family of 6 apparently and is scuffed everywhere and other things that need replacing. I found an old kids sweet under the mattress and mould on the seat covers. We were so worried about reading all of this bad reviews and now we have fallen victim to them. They were quick to call us for a deposit too. THEY HAVE KEPT PART OF OUR DEPOSIT AND I AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF LOOKING AT LEGALITIES TO RETRIEVE OUR MONEY. Stay well away

Don't believe the reviews!

Not sure what the earlier reviews are talking about? Perhaps their problems were not in fact covered - seems very one sided?
We had fantastic service from start to finish - from the sale - lots of great information about the vehicle from Jonathan, Steve gave us a great handover and then when we needed some (minor) warranty snags fixing, and these were sorted straight away. I've only written this review as a friend of mine had seen these reviews and thought I was daft to buy from such a company. I've now read them and cannot stress enough these are wrong, I cannot recommend highly enough.

Awful Avoid at all costs

Awful. Literally the worst company you can image. We bought a brand new Roller team from them in 2020. Getting any warranty work done was basically impossible. Always refused, often with a pack of lies about things not being covered. Unbelievably rude too. 1 star is far too generous, avoid at all cost.

Also known as Cheshire Motorhomes

Also known as Cheshire Motorhomes. DO NOT waste your money buying from this company. Jonathan is quick to take your money but should you have any problems he doesn’t want to know. It took us 2 YEARS to sort a small problem on our van. We had to complain to auto-trail about him. He’s a complete wastes of time, it cost us a lot of time and money…. I could say a lot more but would rather forget the whole horrible experience. Our advice is go with a bigger better reputable dealer…like Spinney or Brownhill

An excellent experience from start to…

An excellent experience from start to finish. We had been to a couple of dealers who simply weren’t that interested in helping us find the motor home we were ready to buy. Then we found Malcolms… Steve helped us to explore the options and find the right MH for us. He is incredibly knowledgeable and took us through how everything worked on handover day. No question was a silly one! Jonathan spent a lot of time with us during the process - answering questions & making sure we were happy and fully understood the detail. On handover day Jonathan finalised & took us through all paper work, making sure we have to hand all the information if needed. All in all a very friendly, knowledgeable, organised team who applied no pressure at all and were all only too happy to help - at any time. A fantastic experience and we are now looking forwards to many adventures in our Motorhome! Thank you to everyone at Malcolms Motor Homes!

AVOID

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
One star has been awarded as we couldn't give it zero!

Don't be fooled by the excellent reviews of Malcolm's Motorhomes! This is in name only! A company called Cheshire Motorhomes bought the company and relies on the previous company's good reputation.
Jonathan, the salesman, is very accomodating and pleasant to deal with when trying to secure a sale. However, once you have paid for your Motorhome, the situation drastically changes. Should you encounter any problems you will experience obstructive behaviour, difficulties in making contact and an unwillingness to solve issues. Be Warned!
