Mah card pro and cons
Good to have card instead of pile of cash. But no one informs you that1.Money is loaded after 24-28 hours and only 10%, the rest- during the day. 2.Not in all browsers you can see it's loaded. 3.You can withdraw from ATM only 4 usd equivalent-a day. 4. You can't pay a taxi with the card (even with the help of hotel reception).

Why it's better than others?
The (MahCard) represents among the highest levels of monetary services I have ever experienced in Iran. Information was accurate, responses to queries were turned around very fast. Answers were clear and where necessary detailed enough for me to make informed decisions quickly, and minimising the end to end time to process complex transactions among a number of retailers, restaurants and even bookings inside the country. I'll definitely reuse (MahCard) service, if I revisit the country. "A special thanks to Mr. HOSSEIN for all the time being Responsive & Cooperative".

Great service, fast, practical - recommended!
Even though the card is not exactly the same as a normal credit card, I found MahCard a very good option, also for a longer stay. The MahCard team is extremely helpful, they were always available and replied very quickly in case help was needed, great service! It was uncomplicated and fast to get the card. I definitively recommend MahCard, thanks a lot!

Was easy to apply
Was easy to apply, use and obtain. The card was delivered on time and I had no issues using it anywhere. I did not use the website to add money but PayPal mode was a bit odd. I mean sending various amounts to different people. The rest was perfect.

Mahcard made my journey much easier.
Iranian banking and payment system were far more advanced than I expected. So don't dare to use cash in Iran. It's not impossible to pay in cash, but it would be much much much easier with a debit card. Mahcard is highly advisable. I highly recommend it to those traveling to Iran. I want to name my agent Reza. He was very kind and supportive and he explained everything patiently to us. He turned all our doubts to certainty.

I highly recommend MahCard to anyone
I recently used MahCard on my trip to Iran and I must say I was impressed with their service. The card was delivered to my hotel within 3 days and their exchange rate was very competitive. The mobile app made it easy to track my transactions and the customer support team was always available to assist me. I also appreciated the option to load my card online using my bank account. Overall, I highly recommend MahCard to anyone planning to visit Iran as it's a smart alternative to carrying cash.

Worst experience I have ever had
Worst experience I have ever had. Took them close to a week to even send my MahCell device out, once it arrived, there was no SIM card inside so it was useless. Once I got the SIM card the device didn’t work, and the service was horrible, their “tech team” tried to resolve the issue by having me log into the portal myself, but then didn’t respond to any of my messages. Representative Farnoosh was not helpful at all, and frankly quite rude. They ask extremely personal questions such as flight number and things that made me feel so uncomfortable. Would never ever ever go with MahCell or MahCard while in Iran ever again. Get rid of Farnoosh or teach her some basic customer service skills!

Useful to some extent
1. Withdrawals can only be made from Ayendeh bank ONLY.
2. Limited numbers of ATMs.
3. Frequently ATMs are out of money.
4. ATMs only dispense 2,000,000 Iranian currency equivalent of €2.8 as daily limit. (You need about 4,000,000 per person to dine at a descent restaurant.)
5. When you top up the card, they they convert your currency to local currency with uncompetitive rate, and when you convert the left over balance into your currency… Again using uncompetitive rate.
6. If you plan to go to Iran, which you should….. a very beautiful country with very kind people, bring CASH.

A complete let down
Sadly, after I filled in the application and confirmed the delivery time with the owner on the phone, he simply didn't show up. I called multiple times and sent messages, all of which were ignored. If I didn't have some kind people who helped me out eventually, I would be seriously screwed for the entire trip. So sadly, this service isn't as reliable as I expected.

I used mahcard during my trip in iran
I used mahcard during my trip in iran. I ordered it 3 days before my trip and they meet me in my hotel in tehran and driver the card. I paid cash to them and it loaded in my card next day. I used mahcard everywhere. It accepted everywhere and it is very easy to use. I recommend it to all travellers

Failed service, missing communication
The company did not bring the card to the hotel at the agreed time, and they did not reply to any e-mails.
P.S. I got the answer below from the company. As there is no way to reply to that answer, I do it here:
You say you could not issue and deliver the card. But at that time I got an e-mail from you saying that you had the card and would deliver it to me the next day (which you never did). Either that, or this was a lie. In any case, replying to any of my several e-mails at that time did not depend on your bank.
