Great experience with Magnet in Dundee. We have a very large kitchen so needed a lot of support with the design to make the best use of the space. I also have a disability so wanted to take the opportunity when designing the new space to make all of the spaces easy to access. We worked with Mim Field who was knowledgeable and totally got what we were looking for. The options for pull outs, carousel units etc were excellent.

Yes, it is a little more expensive than some suppliers but the quality of the kitchen and the quality of the service is worth it.

We had a couple of small issues with a damaged part on delivery and some fittings missing but they were super quick to resolve this. Even came to do an inspection once installation was complete.

Our last kitchen was from Magnet, which looked as good as new after 11 years so we knew the high quality construction & finish of the products and therefore, when we moved a year ago, we had no hesitation in choosing them for our new kitchen project.

From the moment we entered the Cardiff Showroom and met Kerry (Farrell) our designer we knew that we were in safe hands. Kerry quickly understood how the new kitchen had to work for us in every aspect, including a work space for my home based biscuit business, a beautiful entertaining space for friends and family and a practical well planned utility room leading from the main kitchen.

Kerry is a consummate professional, extremely patient and a creative problem solver. She listened to our ideas, needs & wants and planning our kitchen became a real partnership experience.

We visited the showroom several times before the order was finally submitted. Those visits ranged from just 'tweaking' the plan to us having to rethink an area completely, but at no time did Kerry ever make us feel that we were a burden or causing her a headache (although I think we must have at times!!)

Kerry met every one of those challenges with kindness, patience & a smile and came up with at least one solution, if not two or three.

The other person we must give a mention to is Simon the kitchen fitter - he took Kerry's plan and brought it to life. Again, he was a very professional, skilled craftsman making some necessary adjustments as he worked in some awkward spaces with such creativity and care. He was a pleasure to have in our home.

A couple of weeks ago we invited Kerry to come and see the finished kitchen and it was so lovely to be able share with her what she had planned on her computer all those weeks ago. What a skill she has!!

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen & utility room & from the start of the process to the end we received a 5* service and we would have no hesitation in recommending Magnet, Kerry & Simon to anyone who might be considering a 'like for like' refit or a complete renovation like us.

Great experience, great staff, great products, great value for money

We were very pleased with attention to detail by both design staff and fitters.
Both were knowledgeable and helpful. We were guided through the kitchen planning process with care. The service has been excellent.

When we thought about updating our kitchen we made contact with Magnet because our original kitchen of 20plus years old was a Magnet kitchen. Andrew and his team provided excellent advice and service and we are happy with the final result.
With careful planning the delivery arrived on time and the kitchen was fitted without a hitch and within the week. All to a very high standard.

Gary at the Derby branch was lovely and super helpful. He was really friendly and approachable and understood our needs and showed us different options.

Delightful Rosy spent time listening and clarifying what would be most useful in designing the new kitchen. She made the design and followed up with a site survey, carefully measuring and updating on the process - 0% finance for the amount after deposit easily organised, and most impressive was making an appointment, showing up on time, and keeping us informed. This is a very high quality service which I would definitely recommend.

I am trusting that the company's anstaller will be of the same standard - which would make this the most painless kitchen replacement I have ever expereinced!

John was very welcoming and helpful. He explained everything in detail and was open to any questions.

I honestly can’t recommend Magnet (Dundee) and our designer, Mim Field, highly enough. From start to finish, Mim was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable.

The design she created for our new kitchen is more than I could ever have imagined. She really listened to what we wanted, offered brilliant ideas and somehow managed to turn everything we hoped for into a kitchen that is both beautiful and practical. The finished result is simply stunning, and we couldn’t be happier with it.

As with any big project, there were a couple of small issues along the way, but Mim dealt with everything instantly and without any fuss, which made such a difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and we always felt that she genuinely cared about getting everything perfect for us.

I really can’t thank Mim enough for all her help, patience, attention to detail and, most importantly, for designing a kitchen that has completely exceeded our expectations. We absolutely love it!

We went to four different kitchen suppliers and found out of the four the Magnet kitchen was the best quality and a reasonable price. Our designer Joe Lauzier was extremely knowledgeable and imparted excellent advice not only on the type of kitchen but the best value appliances etc - well done.

We bought our kitchen through Magnet after visiting the Guiseley branch. We met with Julia Chang, who was very friendly and helped us choose how we wanted our kitchen to look. We found Julia to have better availability and to respond quicker to queries than other kitchen designers we spoke to, so we felt like Magnet would be the best option for us, and the price was very competitive.

We got an independent kitchen fitter, so can't speak to the fitting, but the delivery was smooth, and everything fitted as expected. The kitchen looks lovely and is just what I wanted.

We chose Magnet, Edinburgh for their quick understanding of what we wanted, our priorities and their good reputation. Our designer Stuart clearly showed us the options for cabinets, colours, appliances and layout. Andy coordinated the fitting by James Alexander whose team were excellent. Our flat is on the 12th floor and the fitters had to contend with our lift being out of operation for several days. Their work was efficient and they minimised the disruption to us while the work was in progress. Altogether a very professional job by Magnet and their fitters.

Have recently had a new kitchen installed through Magnet, Inverness. We have been delighted with the whole process. The designer worked with us to ensure we had the layout, style, and appliances that we wanted plus the extra touches that gave the kitchen added style. The kitchen fitter was brilliant, keeping us informed on the whole schedule for the fit and doing the additional work that we wanted. There was a mix up with the sink that we ordered, Elaine at Magnet made sure the issue was rectified promptly and efficiently. We would definitely recommend Magnet in Inverness to anyone planning a new kitchen.

Our kitchen was designed by Ella Dyminski from the Guiseley branch. She did a truly amazing job, the kitchen looks stunning.

The kitchens may be great, the in person design system may work well but I was left extremely disappointed with the online experience which has meant I won’t be progressing with Magnet. I felt everything had been pre placed in a way that didn’t work for me and I asked for changes. I felt a major inconvenience to the designer who said he would just ‘do it all later’ so after 20 minutes I decided to leave and await the quote for the kitchen I didn’t want just for comparative purposes maybe. I had been recommended Magnet but the Wren experience had felt so personalised and like they just wanted to work it all out with me over the time we had. I felt like the customer. With Magnet I felt like a bother.

Anika was so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, and gave us really helpful advice about our kitchen. She took the time to listen to what we wanted, talked us through the different options, and made us feel supported throughout the whole process. We couldn't recommend her enough—we're so happy with our new kitchen!

My experience with Magnet's sales and installation process was extremely disappointing. The kitchen itself is satisfactory, but there are plenty of other suppliers offering comparable products with perhaps better customer service.

Here's what went wrong:

After I signed the contract and paid the deposit, the price increased because the sales assistant had forgotten to include several items. My kitchen design had not changed.
After I paid the balance in full, the installer refused to connect one of the appliances and did not sand or oil the wooden worktop, despite this being part of the agreed service.
Obtaining a refund for the services that were not delivered took several months and required me to repeatedly chase the store for updates.
Several small items were missing, and one door was supplied in the wrong colour. Due to poor communication from the store, it took six months to receive the replacement door, and I had to collect it myself.
The final straw was when I went to collect the replacement door and the remaining small items. The store's storage area was so disorganised that staff claimed they couldn't find my items. I was simply told to come back another day, wasting another two hours of my time and additional travel costs. When I asked whether they could instead deliver the missing touch-up pen, the manager replied, "We don't do things that way here." It felt like I was expected to bear the consequences of their mistakes.

In short, if you choose Magnet, I would strongly recommend getting every promise and quotation in writing rather than relying on verbal assurances. I would also seriously consider using an independent installer instead of Magnet's installation service.
