Totally enjoyed our visit to Madame Tussudes.
Went with my grown up children and grandkids for a family day out. Hadn't been there in years there was something for everyone. Totally enjoyed the 4D cimera experience. The train ride through time.
Well worth the overall experience.

Very expensive and disappointing
Very few wax figures. It's more of a flashing light, special effects and unpleasantly loud experience. You might just as well go to an amusement arcade. It's also so crowded that you move round in a mass and cannot really stop to appreciate the wonderful waxwork figures. Also, most of them haven't got names on them so unless you are already familiar with them you don't know who they are. It's also incredibly hot! By the time we reached the Star Wars exhibits we just wanted to leave so that we could breathe! We would have done but there weren't any staff to direct us to the nearest exit.
Really disappointing, very expensive and I would definitely not recommend it.

Paid for fast track tickets
Paid for fast track tickets
Sent by a staff to another staff member who was way too busy scanning and told us to go back to same colleague
When told him we had fast track ticket he shouted and waved us through sarcastically
Spoken to customer services who didn’t help
Wouldn’t recommend paying for fast track tickets as queue was the same and service is terrible

Disappointed
I’m actually very disappointed. It was so much better years ago. I was expecting it to be much better. It was not worth the money I paid. years ago there were all the famous statues. There was no Ataturk, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Messi, shakira and many many more that I could list. The only thing I enjoyed was the taxi ride.

Madame Tussauds has long been a…
Madame Tussauds has long been a favorite for visitors seeking lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and cultural icons. However, many fans feel that the quality of the statues has diminished over time. Older figures, such as those of classic Hollywood stars or political leaders, often appear more realistic and meticulously crafted than some of the more recent additions. I did love the marvel statues though.
Despite this, Madame Tussauds remains a popular attraction, offering an interactive experience where guests can pose with wax replicas of famous people.

Well to start the tickets were…EXPENSIVE
Well to start the tickets were outrageously expensive, but imagine my utter distain shock and disappointment where nowhere to be found was one pirate, despite them being an integral part of british history and also the East India trading company!!! Nothing of the great pirates from history, The Golden Age of Piracy, Plymouth's association with piracy, Piracy and the growth of the British Empire, Piracy and access to goods…..and let’s not forget Pirate Radio stations ‘people just do nothing’ not one wax work of Blackbeard, Calico Jack, William Kidd, Ann Bonny, Francis Drake, Barbosa brothers, Thomas Tew, Jack sparrow not even MC Grindah. I left in tears my confidence in the preservation of british history forever tarnished. Couldn’t even have a selfie with Chewbacca I was so upset 😭

It has some shining moments
I attended as a solo traveller (which given how rammed it was, was probably a good idea). It was my first time here (I mainly wanted the Marvel area).
Staff managing the queue section were brilliant, very helpful and kind. Inside, there was barely anyone trying to contain the rather large amount of people.
It was very hard to be able to see the waxworks due to how crammed it was. The horrors area was nice, but a lot of bottle necks.
The taxi ride a nice touch, but as it wasn't what I wanted to spend time with, perhaps a way to move forward without taking part could be considered.
The marvel section was interesting. But a lot of advertised characters weren't there and there was again limited time to do photos, because of the crowd size.
Star wars section was amazing, and did make up for the price.
If it would be worth considering, perhaps having a map or something so that if a person only wants to see one particular section would be good, so that instead of walking around areas that someone isnt interested in may be worth considering

Facial features not accurate
Facial features not accurate. All the models had tiny bodies and short in stature. Also found lots of empty space. Would have been nice to see more, there was lots of floor space.
