I rode this morning on 5/22/26 in Florida where my initial quoted price was $109 asking me to wait 45-50 minutes so I chose that option. There was another option with 18 minutes wait for $119. I accep... See more

I called a Lyft ride and a driver initially accepted for $17.95 but a driver switch occurred without notifying me and I realized that I got charged $25.60 after I arrived home. I'm requesting the price difference of $7.65 to Lyft but it declined. Petty sneaky. I am not unhappy with the new driver but Lyft should have given me the option to accept the extra comfort car instead of the standard type that I initially picked.
I’m a business owner that has used Lyft…frustrated
I’m a business owner that has used Lyft transportation multiple times for approximately one year. I ran into frequent situations of massive aggravation with my credit card usage to provide service for my patients. I’m officially canceling my Lyft business account due to their software problems which resulted in my account being locked out. Massive frustration.
They changed my pickup time by 1 hour
They changed my pickup time by 1 hour, which would make me late for my tour. I got an UBER and LYFT charged me a $ 10 fee. AI and the live chat were useless. NEVER AGAIN. !!!! Less than 1 star. 0 stars.

I was 3 miles away from home and lyft wanted $46.00 for a trip. Was not the busy part of the day. Uber on the other hand was 10.00. No excuse for ripping people off.
Better off getting a car !
I use Lyft to get to and from work 3-4 days a week ! Sometimes more ! When I pay extra for a fast ride the shit be long asf! When I pay cheaper for a longer wait time the shit come in 2 mins ! That’s annoying asf ! On top of that my shift ended at 6am y tf sud I wait 20 mins for a driver when the app showing me 50+ drivers closer to me ! I can’t wait to get my car !
Scheduled Lyft to airport no-showed
I scheduled a Lyft to SFO with a 6 am pick up 5/9. At 5:55 am, I received a message: Driver will arrive in 13 minutes. At 6:15 the driver was still allegedly arriving in 13 minutes and not responding to my texts or calls. I had to call for a taxi and nearly missed my flight. When I tried to file a complaint, a chat agent said “sorry “ and offered a $50 Lyft credit. I want the taxi fare reimbursed.
Never use Lyft - Our drive was so nice and I would like…
Our drive was so nice and I would like him again. He packed our luggage at the Oakland Airport. When he unloaded at home he accidentally left our backpack in his car. When we realized what happened since the bag had important things of ours, it took us 30-60 minutes for them to reach him. He retired the bag but was charged $20 to do so. Today was my first and last day on Lyft.
Theft occurred and support was unresponsive
On May 7th, I left my wallet in a vehicle around 6 PM. I contacted Lyft immediately and offered to let it go if there was another passenger, giving them a chance to clarify the situation. Instead of investigating, support only gave canned responses about being a "cashless platform" which made no sense in the context of a lost item. The driver ignored all messages until I mentioned there was cash in the wallet. He then returned it at 7:30 PM, but the $160 in cash had been removed. Lyft’s safety marketing is hollow if they refuse to act on theft.

Well I've been overcharged about $25 in holding fees plus I was overcharged $5 for an actual ride. Customer service? There is no customer service. Just a lot of apologies promises to transfer to someone that can help me and then I'm disconnected. I'm going to look for another service this sucks! Oh let's not forget the switching drivers at the last minute prices changing after you've confirmed etc etc

I rely on Lyft to attend all my doctor's appointments and medical screenings. I usually overlook the dirty cars and ones reeking of BO as long as I arrive at my destination in one piece. Today, however, was something else. I had to get a mammogram 'cause I'm a cancer survivor. The ride to the clinic, the older driver relied on his Google navigation to take a 5-minute detour, which was essentially a long U-turn to take the regular route he would have taken anyway had he just made the turn earlier.
The return trip was inexusable. The car was dirty. The driver got me home all right, dropped me off across the street, and when I tried to exit the vehicle, the car door refused to stay open and swung back, striking me in my ear and knocking my phone to the pavement. The driver laughed, did not render assistance, and remained parked where he was, even after I had entered my house.
This has not been the first time I have feared for my safety while riding Lyft. But this may be the only one that left a visible mark on my ear.
Lyft misrepresents ride prices
I was quoted a 2-mile ride for $60. After the ride, Lyft charged me $109 (after my Lyft Pink discount). After over an hour with customer service, they said I should screen shot the quoted prices before accepting rides. Lyft customer service regularly shuts down the conversation before any resolution. This is a completely untrustworthy service.

I have all my cards connected to my Google account. every time I ask for a ride it wants to scan my card and won't let me proceed with my payment. on the other hand my son is hooked up to my left and he has no problem ordering rides and they don't ask him to scan my card. also they charge me for transactions and rides that were never made.

Thieves liars and cheats forced me to pay a dumb driver who lacked common sense - who never picked me up but lyft lyfted $$$$$$$ from my bank account to cover his error. what criminals they are & i look forward when they collapse (soon).

I had a very frustrating experience…
I had a very frustrating experience with Lyft.
Shortly after my ride started (within about one minute), I realized I had forgotten an important document. I immediately asked the driver to turn back and even offered to pay extra for the inconvenience.
The driver refused to turn back and continued the trip to my destination, which was about 20 minutes away. Because of this, I had to arrange additional transportation afterward, which disrupted my plans and caused unnecessary stress.
I contacted Lyft support right after the ride and clearly explained the situation. I requested a refund or at least a goodwill credit, but my request was denied. I was only told that the situation would be “handled,” yet I received no meaningful follow-up or resolution.
This experience shows a lack of flexibility and customer care. While I understand policies exist, there should be reasonable exceptions, especially when the issue is identified immediately after the ride begins.
I am very disappointed with how this was handled and expected a much better level of support from Lyft.
TERRIBLE experience with customer service
Dealing with Lyft customer service was probably the single most infuriating experience I've had with a company in my whole life. They took hours to understand my questions, switching my agents often and they kept giving me WRONG, COPY-PASTED ANSWERS that made no sense! When someone finally did understand my issue, they still couldn't fix it and kept telling me to do things that I've already tried with other agents before, that didn't work. and of course those answers were copy-pasted too!!! All in all I've talked to maybe 7 agents and it took many hours only to realize myself that they'll never give me a solution.
AND worst of all, the agents kept telling me to cancel my ride and rebook it, so I did. Only to realize later that there's like 200$ on hold on my credit card and that it will be released in 5-7 days!!! they told me they can't do anything about it and refused to give me any discounts... and they told me that with a copy-paste too. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Do not use Lyft Silver !!!
I am deeply disappointed with how Lyft Silver handled a ride for my sister, who is disabled, in the Charlotte NC area. One, the driver took the longest route possible to get to a location with known shorter routes. Second, my sister went into a McDonalds to get a drink and came back out expecting the driver to be there and when she came back out, to my sister’s surprise, the driver abandoned her. On top on that, a binder that belonged to my sister was still in that vehicle that left her. And now Lyft says my sister has to pay $20 to get her binder back when it wasn’t her fault since that driver abandoned her!!!
Do not use Lyft!!!
