They are an amazing business. The service is first class. They check everything about your bike before posting the motor to ensure it will fit. They almost instantly reply to queries. The motor are first class, quiet and powerful.

I purchased my original electric kit 5 years ago in UK and all is still working well. I needed an additional battery due to touring and long riding sessions. I contacted Lvbu Tech and ordered the new N20 battery. Miya Liu in customer Services realised I had the old charger and included a type “C” charger with the new battery. It arrived promptly after a couple of weeks as promised and all is working well. Must compliment Miya Liu who assisted me through the purchasing process. She is a credit to the company.

I bought a KN20S kit for my Brompton. The quality is much better than I expected, the installation took about one hour, maybe a little more. l had some issues, but I received instructions almost immediately.
Now I can ride much more easily, the motor is very quiet and powerful, the battery capacity is sufficient for everyday use.
The support and the communication are perfect, not to mention the price. The kit arrived as promised, very well packed.

The quality is much better than I expected, it is very easy to install, the motor is very quiet and powerful,
Now I can ride longer distance and have more fun.

I purchased the KN front wheel motor with 250W in march 2025. I hesitated with the KF model but the KN is sufficient for the 9 km commute (I can charge at work if needed for the trip back).

The delivery was very fast because it was shipped from Germany warehouse.

Support was very useful and reactive through WhatsApp. They followed through all the steps.

Installation was easy, there was a video on top of the instruction manual. The only issue I met is that my fork is with suspension, so while the fork dropout spacing was 10cm (minimum required) the spacing between the tube of the fork was a little shorter and the fit of the wheel motor was tight (the screw of the brake rotor touched the fork), fortunately the wheel came with spare flat head screw to attach the brake rotor so I used them instead of the round head screws and then no more contact with the frame.

Regarding the motor, I am very happy so far (but I just used 3 days), I do a 9km commute with lots of hills and the battery can make it with around 75% left at arrival (I use the ‘commuting mode’). It can take me to 25kmph without problem even going up. I really like the throttle to help when starting, I feel it’s like a security feature because I can quickly get away from cars when the red light goes green.

This product was recommended by a friend who purchased before and I am happy it all work as advertised.

Great customer service. Miya was extremely helpful. The wheel is great and delivery was good. This is the second kit I have brought and am very happy with it. Any issues setting it up they were very quick to respond through WhatsApp to help me.

I’ve purchased 7 kits over the years, 4 for my wife and me and 4 for neighbors. I am actually installing a new 29” kit on my mountain bike today.

I have the following observations:

Over all the design, technology and quality of production are excellent and I often recommend this kit to others. It's a great and inexpensive way to convert an existing bike to an eBike. I especially like that there is only one cable connecting the controller to the motor. I've also used the Bafang kit which has a spaghetti bowl full of different cables.

The improvement with the push button OFF/ON on the battery is a HUGE improvement over the old pinhole switch. A conversion kit-maybe something in the lid, to modify the pinhole switch to a push button OFF/ON would be very much appreciated. I’ve some ideas about this myself. I see there is a small circle on the battery lid where the ON/OFF button should go

The display should have the option to switch from metric to imperial measurement units. I’m comfortable working in metric but many Americans aren’t

The WePower app is very good but occasionally turns off on its own, requiring a reboot. This happens if I take a rest break of more than just a few moments when cycling

I’ve had one battery failure. In fact this was the extra battery I bought with the first bike kit and it has never worked. I only found this out when I went to use over a year after purchase. I ordered a kit from Rao to “wake up” the battery. It did wake up the battery but then the battery immediately dies again

I was unaware when I purchased my second kit that the old batteries do not work with the new controller. I think you should make the new controllers backwards compatible or make it clear to customers that old batteries will not work with new systems. Batteries are expensive so it would be good to be able to use old ones with new systems

I have mixed feelings about the torque sensor. I don’t like the lag but think it reduces the stress on the drive system.

Again, overall I think this is great technology, great quality and great customer service.

I initially purchased the KF series battery & front wheel motor (250W) in 2023, then purchased a second KF battery & front wheel (350W) just recently. The 250W motor & battery continues to work perfectly and the 350W wheel will become a welcome addition for my wife's bicycle. My recent purchase was an ideal experience largely due in part to the customer service provided by Miya. My questions were responded to very quickly and the detailed information provided was crucial to the purpose of my purchase. Product tips were offered proactively, updates on shipping progress and logistics were very much appreciated too. I would highly recommend Lvbu products for anyone wishing to upgrade their conventional bike to an e-bike.

I had been looking for an e-bike kit for a while and found LVBU, from my first interaction I have been supported and helped every step of the way. Communication has been absolutely top notch and out of hours for China! I was blown away by the response times and the quality of the products. I placed several orders including the KF30S and the Bx30D, both kits have performed really well with no issues, I use one of the kits on my personal bike as well as clients and not had a single issue. Insofar as a company I would highly recommend. I have read some negative reviews but as a business owner myself I know that people only usually take to social media platforms and review sites when things go south which at times, for whatever reason, they do...

If you're looking for a well priced, easy to install kit that doesn't mean a total bike rebuild then I highly recommend you try this out.

I have had my KF series e bike kit for around 3 years now, not once has it missed a beat, the battery lasts for days of use, i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of materials used, especially the power coating on the battery itself. It was very easy to install following the installation video. Since I installed it, I accidentally broke the type c cable (completely my fault, being heavy handed. I contacted the LVBU team, who sent out another charger which was delivered very quickly. Then only today I fell off my bike, and bent the battery holder, so again I contacted LVBU, who have sent me the link to replace the part. Absolutely amazing customer service, better than most UK based businesses. Thank you LVBU, I will be buying another kit from you if I ever need a new one.

For me the experience was great, got the motor wheel, install the App, calibrate it and go discover the city of Bucharest. Lvbu do not know how to promote themselves, they choose to put money in quality products not in quality, fancy videos, and this is what i appreciate the most. That's why i choose Lvbu motor.

I can recommend LVBU as a company to purchase an Ebike conversion kit from. I purchased the KF series battery with a front wheel motor 250 Watts power in July 2022 for £360 US $. I ordered directly from China. Shipping took approximately 7 weeks. The motor is still excellent after two and a half years. With my LVBU conversion kit fitted cycling up hills or into the wind is noticeably easier. The batteries provided have proven safe to charge. I managed to ride 60 miles at 50% assist on one journey. I’m a fit man though and capable of comfortably riding long distances with or without a motor on a bicycle.
I’ve corresponded with Miya and Roa, mostly with Miya using Wattsapp. LVBU Technologies provides an after sales service. For example I ordered another battery, the F30 battery. The battery represents an upgrade to the batteries supplied in my original order.
So yes I can only offer positive words about LVBU Technologies as a company to order their ebike conversion kits from.

I ordered a kit in my case directly from the factory shop and the service was nothing short of excellent. The kit ordered 2 or 3 years ago still serves me well and makes riding on a hilly landscape and often against strong head winds in my area like a breeze. Front wheel motor was easy enough to fit for a amateur like myself and the batteries still hold well even after many months of cycling daily to work 10km away and back. I admit I did have an issue or two after some time and during installation, but I could fix them fast thanks to the help from service, which was positively surprising for me from a company half a world away. Such a good service is the most valuable thing a quality brand can have and it really shows the initiative to continuously improve. I absolutely recommend LVBU sets! I have supplied and fitted dozens of LVBU kits to customer bikes as a professional ebike conversion business. The product is excellent, and the customer service is superb too (if you get to speak to Miya, she is brilliant). If ordering stock from the manufacturing base in China rather than UK depot then you need to be prepared for shipping and customs time, but LVBU are always very clear about this and have been on hand to respond quickly and helpfully when there have been (very rare) issues. UK deliveries arrive within just a few days and most of the common specifications are held in UK stock.

I have no concerns at all about the reliability of the kits I fit to customers’ bikes, nor LVBUs ability to honour a warranty claim in the rare case it would be needed.

Very highly recommended. Five stars across the board.
