They are saying that I was an in patient being treated fir some sort if liver ailment.I WAS NEVER ADMITTED TO THEIR HISPITAL!!! I went for a test once ir twice, so the hospital has my name. I gave read via Google that thus hapoens frequently. They want almost 1500 euros , and they have a court irder on me. Now I have to fight the bastards I am 82 taking care of my critically ill husband who has Parkinson's disease. If you don't want troubke, stay away frim thus hospital from hell!!!

The level of disorganization and lack of responsibility is unacceptable.

My experience with Lusíadas was extremely disappointing. The video consultation was of very poor quality. I was in an acute condition and urgently needed a valid prescription so that I could at least undergo the necessary tests. The clinic’s website clearly stated that the doctor spoke English. However, the doctor did not speak English at all. She did not understand what I was saying and repeatedly asked, “What do you want from me?”

As a result, I received an incorrect prescription, including an antibiotic that I had already taken and did not need.

In addition, I was charged €38.50, even though the copayment under my insurance plan is €25.

Trying to contact the clinic afterwards was impossible. I sent four emails, and on WhatsApp I was told to call 217 704 040. My husband and I called all day and all evening from two different phones — no one ever answered.

I strongly advise against this clinic. The level of disorganization and lack of responsibility is unacceptable.

This hospital is a shambles

This hospital is a shambles, i wouldnt take my dog there. Receptionists although pleasant are clueless.
Trying to get information or scan results , well just dont bother unless you have a 20 year old computer with a CD rom drive......Seriously go to loule.

Absolutely not recommend

Absolutely not recommend, my wife broke leg and we have been there last Sunday , they did exam and xray they told us that is broken, ok fine . They put Orthopedic plaster and we paid 500€. When we back to hotel we discovered that have no any documentation which confirms that she is 4 weeks out of work . Rest of week we trying to contact and get it but nobody answered. Last day of holiday we go there and explain situation but there was rude lady behind desk and after arguing she said ok give you letter which explains all and will confirm that she needs to be 4 weeks out . Finally they give us but Portugal language and when i translated was absolutely nothing about that. I called back but they totally ignored me . Also suggested me to make another appointment and pay 74€ to get any cert or documentation. We deserve for better treatment for over 500€ .it is shame for private hospital especially when they told us if we need any help or documentation just email them and they will give us but they never respond even after our calls to reception,Highly not recommended

Terrible experience

Terrible experience.

They performed an operation that was pretty quick. I had a few meetings with the doctor who told me what will be the price of the surgery. He also said that I will receive a price offer from the administration which never happened!
A few months afterwards they asked me to pay another invoice for a meeting with the anesthesiologist which also never happened! I only saw the dr. at the day of the operation and he introduced himself, so now I need to pay extra 109€? The whole process cost ne more than 1300€.
This is unbelievable. I will never recommend this hospital!

Lusiadas Lisboa

I strongly urge anyone to avoid this hospital at all costs. If you ever find yourself here in an emergency, exercise extreme caution, especially if you are vulnerable or unable to advocate for yourself clearly.

From the moment I arrived, I was met with hostility and unprofessionalism. A nurse admitted me to the ward and, despite explicitly assuring me I would not require a cannula, inserted one into my arm without explanation or consent. This alone was distressing; unfortunately, it was only the beginning.

Without informing me, she administered diazepam, which I only found out about later through paperwork, falsely telling me it was an anti-inflammatory medication. This drug is one I cannot tolerate, and within 30 minutes I experienced severe side effects including tremors in my arms and legs, nausea, dizziness, and an overwhelming sense of panic. It left me unable to sleep and deeply concerned for my safety.

When I tried to communicate my symptoms and distress, the nurse responded not with concern but with mockery, openly laughing at me to colleagues and making fun of my tremors. Her behavior was demeaning, cruel, and entirely unprofessional.

I requested medication to reverse or counteract the reaction, but my request was dismissed. When I pleaded for an IV flush to help clear the drug from my system, staff delayed so long that the intervention was essentially meaningless.

To make matters worse, despite my clearly stated refusal to take any further medication, I was approached twice and pressured to take muscle relaxants, another class of drug that would have worsened my reaction significantly.

Throughout my stay, I was kept uninformed about my own health, with updates being given to a family member instead of me, without my consent. This shows a total disregard for privacy, bodily autonomy, and modern medical ethics.

This experience was not just disappointing; it was traumatic. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and questioning how such a lack of basic compassion and communication can still exist in a modern medical setting.

At this hospital, you may face misleading medication, disrespect, privacy violations, and unprofessional conduct. If you are a tourist or seeking treatment here, please look elsewhere because your health and safety deserve far better.

While on holiday in Albufeira I broke my shoulder and required surgery. I had all the necessary tests and preparation done quickly. The surgeon was very good and explained everything very well. The nurses were very attentive and the hospital itself was extremely clean and well organized.

We arrived at the hospital to perform a surgical procedure that takes twenty minutes. We were actually stuck in the hospital for 5 hours only because the doctor didn't bother to sign the release form.
In a preliminary conversation with the same doctor, we were told that the procedure would cost 1500 euros and that it included the administration of anesthesia by an anesthesiologist. We were not told in advance that this did not include any meeting with the doctor who demanded that we visit twice before the procedure, and twice more after the procedure. We were not told in advance that each such meeting costs 109 euros that must be paid additionally. The hospital did not give us an orderly quote even once. After the medical procedure was performed, the hospital sent more invoices for payment. In the end we paid more than 1800 euros. But it's not enough for them!!! Now they want us to pay another invoice for the anesthesiologist's consultation, but we never had a meeting with him and there was no such consultation!
The whole conduct of the hospital is bad, they try to get as much money out of the client as possible and do not tell in advance what the cost of the medical procedure will be!!! There is no fair transparency here with the customer. Just a disgrace!
