Not only are these great mattresses it…
Not only are these great mattresses it is a great company. We had ordered a firmer mattress for my husband which didn't work well for me. After almost a year I called Satva and asked what I could to. At their expense I was sent a topper which softened the mattress. Now both my husband and myself get an excellent night of sleep. This is a company who stands behind their products. Highly Recommend these mattresses.
Started great... now it's unbearable... and deceiving
Below is my review that they posted 6th down in the list, completely out of date order...
We purchased our mattress about 6 months ago and the first few nights were great. Ever since then our backs have been hurting to the point of us dreading to get into bed. We've taken turns sleeping on our sons' mattress, which was under $200 from Amazon, and woke up without back pain. We tried to communicate this to a representative, but as we were a couple of months outside of the window, we were told we could have 30% off a new mattress... Great, so we'd have 2 mattresses we can't sleep on for $3000... At this point we're looking at purchasing another mattress from someplace else and can't recommend Loom & Leaf.
Pure garbage
Pure garbage. I am on my second mattress, the first lost all support in 6 months. It took 3 attempts and another 6 months to get my replacement. Again, the new one sinks like a hammock within 4-6 months, hurts my hips and knees. I had much better sleep on my crappy 10 year old $1000 mattress i replaced. Don’t let anyone lie to you that this junk pile is comparable to a temperpedic. My mother’s temperpidic is 10 years old, she weighs 75 pounds more than me and hers is still just as supportive as the day she purchased it. I wish I could go back in time and buy a real mattress.
Great Customer Service
The ordering process was simple. I had a change to something I omitted and the change was made immediately! Thank you for great customer service. :)
I have a mattress in Florida from Look…
I have a mattress in Florida from Loom and Leaf and we love it, so I ordered one for our home in Ohio. They are very comfortable. The service from ordering to delivery is outstanding.
Hopeful the topper will help.
I chose the Firm mattress mainly for my husband and was hopeful it would work for me as well. I know all the reviews and recommendations say for side sleeper or someone who change sleep positions regularly during the night, should buy the relaxed firm. However, my husband is quite a lot heavier than me and the sales person during our ‘chat’ said he might prefer the Firm.
It came without any problems, delivery was swift and the guys were very courteous and timely. The whole ordering, delivery and set up was very good.
However, the first night sleeping on the new mattress, my husband loved it. I on the other hand did not sleep well and when I got up in the morning my hips and back were so painful and I had a headache.
This was the case for several days and then I did a ‘chat’ with customer service. They were helpful and told me it takes a couple of weeks for the bed to broken in and to give it a little longer try but to call back if things did not improve.
They did not improve, in fact my headache would wake me up out of sleep during the night and I could hardly walk first thing in the morning. I contacted customer service, this time by phone. The young lady helping me was wonderful. Very professional and knowledgeable and told me of a couple of options to try. Seeing the bed was still so new, it might still need breaking in but in the meantime she is sending me a ‘topper’ which should help elevate all my issues. I really don’t want to exchange the mattress or send it back as my husband is so happy with it.
The topper should be here within a week or so at which time I will try it out and hopefully everything will be wonderful. The lady said that if this didn’t help, I should call right away and they will exchange it for a Relaxed Firm or I can chose to send it back altogether for a refund. I am hopeful the topper is all I need tp fix my problems but it makes me feel good knowing I can exchange it if I need to.
I will update my review after trying the topper.
Keeping my fingers crossed because I really want this to work. The mattress appears to be very well made.
Great customer service & product…

Best customer service...
I started discussing my issues with Diana via chat and she recommended direct phone call. She was extremely friendly and pleasant, and was clearly trying to help. She was very empathetic to my call. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. This is the way it should be. Thank you Diana.
Loom & Leaf has the absolute best…mattress and customer service
Loom & Leaf has the absolute best mattress on the market. I have never had a mattress that I was able to sleep well on the first night. Not only did I sleep well, I woke totally rested. This is my second L&L mattress. The first was a queen, then we stepped up to a king. After a total of three years on Loom & Leaf mattresses, we will never sleep on anything else. We highly recommend this exceptional company.
Gel and foam mattresses are for LIGHTWEIGHT people only...
Loom & Leaf is a very reputable company and they produce a high quality foam and gel mattress, and therein lies the problem. Gel and foam, no matter how many clever and infused layers you make of it, simply cannot provide you the support you need to eventually avoid an aching back, except for lightweight folks under 180 lbs. For the rest of us, there has to be something HARD to provide firmness under there to support your back, however everyone seems hypnotized these days about razzle-dazzle memory foam and gel combinations. The problem is that within weeks the gel eventually squishes mostly away from whatever part of the mattress you usually sleep on, and there is noticeable sinking as the mattress settles in. Folks who rate this mattress poorly all have the same complaint, they wake up with an aching back. I weigh 250+ and my wife weighs 200, and we have gone through two of these mattresses now. Within weeks of delivery, the first mattress sank on the sides where we slept and left a mound in the middle, and keep in mind this is with their extra firm model. My wife and I feel like there is a hill in the middle and we are each sleeping on a ramp on each side which is constantly trying to roll us on the floor. We posted a review online regarding this and, no kidding, within the hour we got a call from Saatva offering to replace the mattress. So, kudos for their customer service, but the same thing happened with the second mattress too. Determined to get our $2K+ of usage back, we eventually noticed the Loom & Leaf gel and foam sandwich inside the mattress is actually layered on top of a hard platform base that is all the way at the very bottom of the mattress. Out of sheer desperation we decided to flip the mattress over and sleep on the hard bottom making it now on top (which it is absolutely not designed to do) and lo and behold it was WONDERFUL. Our backaches disappeared immediately and we don't wake up hanging half off the edge of the mattress anymore. Loom & Leaf take note, flip your mattresses over, and you have a system designed to support real people who need real support.
We would all probably like to frolic child-like in a pool of foam and gel, but in the end you're not supposed to sleep in it.

DON'T BUY THEIR FOUNDATION
I have had a great deal of trouble with Loom and Leaf products over the past couple of months. MY 2.5 year old mattress, which Loom and Leaf claims will last for 15 years, started sagging badly in the middle, to the point where I would wake up with awful back pain in the morning. I spoke with customer service and they did replace the mattress, but I had to pay almost $350 to do so. The foundation I had (which was made of foam on the top with no pieces of wood at all, even though the representative tried to tell me I must be seeing things to claim that there is foam, as all of the foundations are made with wood (UNTRUE)) also sagged badly in the middle, so that was replaced to the tune of $90. I received the foundation this morning. It is a piece of junk. The wooden slats are at least 6-7 inches apart and are no wider than 2 inches. Loom and Leaf itself says that for the warranty to be good, the slats have to be no more than 4 inches apart. Am I going to put my mattress on this thing? No way!! Am I going to try to deal with customer service again? NO way!! Am I going to try to sell this on Craig's list so I make back some of the $500 I am out? YES. Am I going to post this review on every possible website so people know what they are getting into? YOU'D BETTER BELIEVE IT. Am I ever going to buy Loom and Leaf products again? NO WAY.

Great bed and great customer service!
My husband and I really enjoy this mattress. It’s held up well and is super comfortable. After noticing a slight defect in the stitching over time, they are replacing the mattress! Fabulous product with a fabulous warranty. Highly recommend.
Exceeded my expectations...
After shopping all of the well known (and not so well known) brands of memory foam technology mattresses, I narrowed my search to just one, Loom and Leaf. Some factors in that decision were the extremely high satisfaction rate and number of customers writing reviews, and the fact that the new mattress would not be compressed into a box but instead be delivered as manufactured (fully uncompressed) by a "white glove" team who would also take away my old mattress.
So on December 30th, I ordered a new Loom and Leaf Relaxed King mattress online. The company initially estimated delivery in 9 to 18 days after my order, and was very communicative throughout the process. In the meantime, I used the online chat feature of their web site to ask about things like the foundation for the mattress (what I already had was fine) and the type of mattress cover that was recommended... the access to knowledgeable help at Loom and Leaf was quick and easy.
Loom and Leaf sent email updates through the (very short) production process, and then I received a call from the delivery company to arrange for delivery at my home on January 5... just 7 days after I placed the order online (even including the New Year's Day holiday). The delivery team arrived right on time, and was very quick and professional in removing the old mattress and placing the new one.
After having the mattress just a few days, it's still a bit early to fully review the mattress itself except to say that it is obviously well made and is very comfortable without anything that would immediately suggest the stereotypical "characteristics" of some memory foam mattresses ("sinking into" the mattress, poor edge support, unpleasant odors, etc.). I will say that I very rarely slept through the entire night on my 7 year old Beautyrest conventional mattress (which was taken away)... but now sleep perfectly through the entire night since receiving my new Loom and Leaf.
Loom and Leaf does not make the least expensive mattress by any means, but I believe it will prove to be a much better value over time than some of the cheaper alternatives. I was happy with the entire purchase and delivery process as well, which really did exceed my expectations.
