Excellent play. The venue seats are horrible and too tight… some people on the bench took too much space and refused to slide over when asked.

Excellent acting, particularly from the actors playing the the roles of Jane and Julia. Wonderful script and clever use of the stage space so that all audience members were engaged. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful in every way! Cowardy quips wittily delivered by a perfect cast - An essence of stylish comedy throughout - Surely the West End should be allowed to enjoy this hilarious production too in due course - after the Meunier's enthusiasts have been so well served first, of course. As for the Theatre itself, ah, the intimacy, the value, the 'country pub' bar ambience, the ubiquitous theatrical poster collection: Only so sad that rarest theatrical gem the wonderful in-house Restaurant has disappeared in the 'refurbishment'.

Brilliantly clever plot with all characters putting their all into their respective rolls. We especially liked the new maid of many parts, a very clever and skillful actress and performer.

An excellent production of a little known Noel Coward play. The cast are all superb in their roles and clearly every one of them is having a great time delivering Coward's witty lines. My only complaint is that the seats at the Menier Chocolate Factory are so uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time.

Wonderful, effervescent and fun! Christopher Luscombe is a brilliant director and creates for two hours a little world that one becomes happily submerged in - fantastic acting of course!

Fabulous production of this Coward classic. A must-see! Menier Chocolate Factory is an ideal venue for this type of play, but we did find the seating quite cramped (row C)

We're visiting from the USA and have never seen anything that wasn't really good at Menier, but this show takes the cake. For a play almost 100 years old, it is screamingly funny. An act long drunk scene is very hard to carry off, but the two women make it work splendidly -- I think how difficult this is may be why this play isn't seen more frequently. Their husbands are nice, but not too bright and get what they deserve to the surprised delight of the audience. On top of that the woman playing the maid is riotous -- an award performance. Direction provides just the right pacing. Wow! RJS
