The surgery was founded in 1964 by Dr Fred Kingsley and Dr Mike Wilkinson. Being trailblazers, they set about establishing a Centre of dental excellence. In 2004, Dr Haider Raza took over as the principal dentist. Dr Haider Raza is a general and resorative dentist but his passion lies in providing treatment solutions for TMJ disorders and bruxism. At Thurloe Street Dental South Kensington, we provide general and cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetic treatments in a calm, relaxing and friendly environment. Our clinicians are known for their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. We utilise the latest technologies in dentistry to provide preventative and restorative solutions for your oral health. Our principal dentist, Dr Haider Raza has a wealth of knowledge and experience about TMJ, bruxism and occulsal problems and has earned a reputation for managing Bruxism and TMJ problems. Our hygienists, Mr Zishaan Shafi and Miss Zara Shirvani provide Hygiene Treatment using Guided Biofilm Therapy. This is a non invasive yet extremely effective way of cleaning teeth and gums without using any scratchy instruments. Our Aesthetic department is headed by Ms Allysun Ramsdale who provides facial rejuvenation treatments using muscle relaxants, Profhilo, Polyneucleotides and dermal fillers.

Wonderful and expert care
I had a great experience at Thurloe Dental. Booking was easy, and the team was skilled, responsive, and friendly. I was seen on time, and the care was excellent. The clinic has state-of-the-art facilities, prioritises comfort, and the front desk is efficient and welcoming. I would happily return and recommend Dr. Raza to friends.

Excellent doctor, absolutely disgusting customer service and receptionist treatment
Shameful outcome dealing with them. Booked a meeting on the wrong date, as it was being discussed face to face, and now insinuating I should pay for a cancelled appointment. Not only that but they cancelled all future appointments too.
Fair game, except a person that lives and dies by the calendar, I wrote everything down, including the exact times I commit to in person as the doc's office, only to get slapped by the receptionist that I am full of it.
Now I get slapped with a cancellation fee and rejection on all future appointments. Here's to a very well deserved 1 star review!

Flavian, unfortunately have you failed multiple appointments and arrived late to your appointments and we have continually waived missed appointments charges for you as a gesture of goodwill and we have also accommodated you when you have been over 20 minutes late. We know you are busy and have been empathetic towards your workload.
We really do not like implementing failed appointment charges and to be able to use our clinical time effectively and efficiently, when you scheduled your appointment we sent you:
• A confirmation email right away
• A calendar invite
• A reminder by email 3 days before the appointment
• A subsequent reminder by text 1 day before the appointment
Therefore, please understand that we do not accept that we booked an appointment for you on the wrong date.
We have enjoyed looking after you and you are so very worthy of having appointments and dental treatment with us, but please do understand, we need to use Dr Raza's clinical time effectively and efficiently and when a person fails multiple appointments regularly or arrives very late we are left with no other option.
