Excellent services always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Upon my first arrival to the office I was greeted with a warm welcome! Also their background knowledge on their vehicles is great, they sit you down and explain every aspect of the car so you are comfortable even after their service.

Darren and his team always make you feel welcome and are always happy to help with anything you may need . From the first time I used them for rental car for a funeral and then went on to rent more vehchiles with no excess paperwork and the usual rubbish most other hire company’s ask for . Then Darren sorted out a lease agreement for me and got me a brand new car on lease ordered in which I am over the moon with at a very good price . Everything I was promised was delivered to me on time as promised and i am over the moon with the service . I would recommend anyone that wants to hire , lease , or finance a car that’s from classic to standard to performance to luxury plus many many more high specification vehchiles at very good prices then contact Darren or his team at civilised car hire and you will not be disappointed trust me .

We placed a hire through this company, the driver turned up over an hour late without any notification from any of the employees making us late for an important client meeting. Not acceptable from any business standards.

My colleague and I called the company to discuss what had happened and Darren Polson advised this was unusual for the company and advised due to the issues we had they would provide a free one day hire.
We accepted and even went in for a meeting to discuss further business opportunities.
We sent a few emails to Darren after this with no response at all and even called on numerous occasions without success.

We wanted to take advantage of the free hire and book further vehicles for our event so we placed these both through the app and emails to Darren and both ignored.... we deal with various hire companies depending on our clients needs and also try out new companies, never have we received such disgraceful and shocking customer service.

After having no response we called and spoke to a lady who advised she would get this sorted for us, then we received a message from Charlene confirming the hire.
We were happy with this and even happy to pay for the full hire after all of the issues occurring, after all, we have a business and clients we need to look after too. (The confirmation happened at lunchtime)

At the close of business (Around 5.30pm) we checked the hire and it had been cancelled through Turo by Darren with no explanation what so ever.
My colleague Jessica called him and he was extremely rude, saying that the vehicle hire was cancelled for discretionary reasons which are in their terms and conditions.

The only reason I can see is firstly they did not want to follow through with the free hire as discussed and do not want to deal with any issues they may face.
Even though we were due a free hire, we actually paid for it due to the immediate needs of our clients.

The level of service we have received not only as a company but individuals from Darren is nothing short of appaling. If they did not want to deal with us for some reason as a company an email or call would have been sufficient, but leaving us in these circumstances and in this situation is ridiculous.

We were recommended Civilised Car Hire by a business associate of ours and not only would we not use this company again but due to the unprofessionalism and lies our associates will not be using them again either.

Truly one of the best car hire experiences you will have. From the pricing and pickup / return flexibility to the state of the actual cars themselves. Always clean and fully fueled. Most come with a 200-mile allowance. The team is a bit slow to process you upon arrival but you're usually on your way in less than 20 mins.

I love Civilised. As pic ed for vogue I used them for splitters, vans, RVs, cars... 13 years a client and always honest reliable service and they are my friends. Great rates and are my go to car company.

I've been working with Civilised for the past 8 years.
