Londis helston store as an army vet with ptsd I went I to this londis post office twice now and was abused by a male member of staff about my registered PTSD support dog even though I have provided both her I'd cards with registration number today was the last straw I phoned police reported him for a hate crime and he had a stern warning by the police sergeant , the police lady phoned me and told me said he was most apologetic to them and that staff will get training but the fact is he was laughing a t me saying call them I don't acre and he embarrassed me I front if other sin store twice. This should not happen and he should be fired being a ggresive and disability discrimination will get you sued which I am contemplating doing with my first light rep on Wednesday because I have seen previous reviews form 4 years ago that he did this to another person with a registered assistance dog and you still have him working there. I suggest you rethink that or it will cost you dearly . This is londis in helston Cornwall.

Avoid! The man behind the till is horribly rude and intimidating. I went to send a parcel. They scanned it, put a label on it and only when I asked for a receipt did they realise something was wrong. They realised their mistake and then told me it ‘failed’ and I needed to take it elsewhere. Confused, I was politely asking questions and he started yelling at me and told me to leave his shop. I live locally and would always pop in there, but I will never return there again. I understand there are many others that find is behaviour unnecessarily aggressive.

Wouldn’t even give one star. Short changes lots of vulnerable people. Keeps milk on shelf days and days passed the sell by date. Just not a happy man and passes his misery onto his customers through his sharp words. Definitely not family friendly.

Liar staff
Today I was at Londis Dartford and when I bought 3 products my husband was just telling me that last time when he bought something from them they didn't give him a product, they hid it near the checkout and when he realized after 2 minutes he came back and said he didn't get the product they said it wasn't there. When I bought the products he did the same thing to me, he bought me a chocolate and when I asked he said sorry. That's what the people there do. Shame
Overcharged and items were sub-standard
Bought 3 items - was overcharged by about 50%. I didn't realise until I got home and gave it a little bit of thought. I wasn't offered a receipt at checkout (cashier was not pleasant at all) so couldn't return. Also, bread was almost stale and potatoes were already sprouting when I opened them the next day !!!!

The staff here are always so rude. They don’t even acknowledge you when you go to the till and greet them. I said I had an evri parcel and he just said “not working” without looking at me. And the evri machine never seems to be working anymore when I go. I’d suggest just going to the post office instead.

As a a vulnerable hsehold, On the 10/2/26 (A londis branch working under deliveroo delivered expired milk & products, lowest of the lowest ive ever come across under the consumer act)
It was very appalling which filled me with rage as my kids were abt to drink it.
With my time wasted and my money now gone Deliveroo said they'd refund also with a gesture but instead they sent a part payment then on return later fighting me as a alleged lair whilst enraged with an email asking for a complaints mgr to review payment which to date is not satisfactory (But instead the same Jeffery chap kept replying to his own mistakes made as if he was the only one in the deliveroo call centre).
Truth is they only eventually refunded part of it with no gesture of goodwill. Very slow, inconsistent and abysmal services after initially starting off ok.
Im now weary of Deliveroo themselves and the retailer LONDIS who i also contacted via their website but to date not even a reply with an apology..The public must be made aware of these practices.

The Londis in Northumberland park, Willoughby Lane is absolutely terrible if you go there of an evening, staff come across very rude, with all due respect the staff don't seem to understand simple requests like toilet roll along with many other items, also whilst trying to deal with customers on a few occasions they're on there mobiles chatting to whoever, very rude. Ps It's happened to many times.

Extremely rude and unprofessional experience. I was spoken to disrespectfully, called stupid, and told to never come back — completely unacceptable behavior from a shopkeeper.
If you choose to offer Evri services, then do your job properly or stop offering the service altogether. Customers should not be treated like an inconvenience for using a service you advertise.

Rude insulting disrespectful older female staff member
I’ve been using the local Londis Holyport Maidenhead for 3 years. They have a post office. I was in the queue today and the older female staff member serving barked at me to wait outside to stop congestion. I eventually got to the counter putting my first package on the scales. She asked what was in it. One Christmas card. The price to send she said was £8. I’d sent a card to the same address a few days ago for £4. She said prices had gone up. She said the second parcel would be £8. Three Christmas cards. It didn’t make sense. She asked again what was in the cardboard envelopes I replied as I said cards. She said anything else in them? I replied no as I said only cards. She said there’s no need to take that tone I asked you nicely. I said I replied nicely. She said you really need to calm down. I replied I’m perfectly calm and asked for stamps. She said no. She said she’d send only one of my packages. I said forget it I’ll go somewhere else. She refused to give me my parcel back and said I’m not losing £8 clutching it tightly. I demanded she give it back to me and after arguing for a good few minutes she did. She told me to get out and never come back. I never would go back there anyway I’ve never been spoken to so badly by a shop worker. She’s made comments towards me several times before and walks around with a nasty superior expression and attitude. She’s tried to charge me more than the marked price for items before. Don’t shop there. It’s a horrible experience and you can hardly move in there there’s boxes everywhere and the parking area is full of potholes and constantly flooded. She shouldn’t be in retail she’s definitely not customer friendly. She shouldn’t be allowed to talk to anyone like she did to me
