Service from office staff was excellent anytime we spoke to them, Jordan and his team arrived promptly on day arranged to fit the windows and doors, they were very professional and hard working, they ensured carpets were fully covered and were very efficient in tidying up, my husband and I were really pleased with the windows and doors when job was complete so would highly recommend them to family and friends.

Totally satisfied with my new roof. The weather wasn’t the kindest but “roofers” battled on. Friend asked if I’d chosen tiles and impressed when I had!

Had the full roof replaced in October 2021. Jack the salesman was polite and knowledgeable. I was shown samples of the tiles and Happy with my choice timescales and price.
Think my new neighbours were bit upset with scaffolding being in their garden as well and there longer than expected due to weather, which noone can control but had I known it would have encroached on their space I could have prepared them.
Once the work commenced the boys work hard was competed in satisfactory time had a hiccup with roof not being covered when the roofers went for lunch and we had a ninja shower where the rain came in and had a puddle in my hallway thankfully I was in an so no damage done. They did come back checked it over and got the roof sealed asap. Happy with the roof and they did a great job clearing up after work was completed. Thank you.

Really pleased with the work done - Roof and Roughcast. I will definitely recommend this company to others. Everyone have been admiring the house. The work men were also great and professional. They were helpful as well. Thanks a lot

We got our roof Done by lomonds 3 years ago workers were great ALEX the sales man was very good but office staff are a waste of time and don't care about customers the only way they're getting 2 stars is because of Alex and workers, also there guarantee isn't worth the paper it's written on as I'm told it doesn't cover weather damage

Great service, we are very happy with our new roof, and even any time we have a problem during the service they were really helpful. Also any time calling the office really helpful, great service and highly recommend for everyone

Highly recommend. From start to finish everything went smoothly. Was kept up to date with all stages of of the process. Gary and the guys who put on the roof tidied up after the work was finished.Delighted with my new roof. I think when you hire a company you always wonder if the reality lives up to the sales pitch. The 2 guy's who roughcasted my house did an excellent job with first class finish , Salesman in my opinion spun me a yarn when going through lomond process saying they would send out clean up teams after completion of work and an inspector to make sure the work is up to standard per company standards but this only happens if you take out finance and don't pay cash which i don't see the difference, As i said a first class job completed by the two boys and they tidied up after them but it is a messy job understandably and had to clean tiles etc ourselves just wish they didn't say anything about clean up teams which was part of sales pitch.

Happened to meet a canvasser by chance in my cul de sac. Didnt think we were quite ready for a new roof, but had been discussing it. Agreed to have a salesman visit , and he came the same day. His name was Ross, very nice and extremely proffesional. Gave a really good presentation. Agreed on a price, paid the deposit, and agreed installation dates. All was carried out to plan. The scaffolding team were very good, quick and extremely hard working. Gary and the team of roofers were also great and very efficient, friendly and worked extremely hard. Even Kenny, our scaffolding chap new my brother from Army days, what a coincidence, and a great laugh, such a nice guy.
All in all, very happy with the roof, looks amazing and makes such a difference to our property. Would indeed recommend Lomond Improvements.
Also a thankyou to Lyndsay in the office, who took care of all the paperwork, and kept in touch with all details.

Lomond improvements were very good when fitting new windows in my house. Very professional and always offered top class service.

last week I had my house roughcasted by Lomond Improvements, Chas and the team were excellent, work carried out in two days, Brilliant workmanship, neat and tidy work, you wouldnt know they were here after they left.

After agreeing terms and conditions with the salesman a timescale was agreed for the roof replacement to commence. We received a phone call to advise work would commence ahead of schedule and the scaffolders duly arrived to put up the scaffolding. This was followed quickly by the delivery of the roofing materials followed by delivery of a skip which took two attempts to deliver due to poor positioning off scaffold storage. Work commenced a week later than expected due to inclement weather. Once commenced the work was efficiently completed within the expected timescale.if I had any reservations it would be the time taken for the removal of the scaffolding and the skip. Overall I would say I was satisfied with the work completed and the timescale. Staff were pleasant and efficient and the workspaces were thoroughly cleaned after completion.

We had our full roof replaced along with our neighbours (semi-detached)
Very pleased with the job. Sales guys did their job well to get me a price I was happy with and to get the job. Garry and his small team of 3 were excellent roofers and very polite. They got the job done in about 3 days and any small problems they had along the way they solved no problem. I hate having work done at the house but I was really impressed with the job and the price.

Really nice job done on the roof the only issue i have is how long it took to remove the skip and the scaffolding after the job had been completed

On 26 August I had a lengthy visit from Chris, who works as a surveyor for this company. The price that he initially quoted for roughcasting my house was over 10k. I refused that offer and after a phone call to his boss, the price came down to £8920. I agreed but asked re finance which was proposed by a company they deal with, Propensio Finance. I felt extremely pressured to make a down payment but I did so. After Chris had left, I received an email from Propensio Finance but the APR was nowhere near what Chris Chris informed that it would be. It worked out at 19.90% for 120 months and I'd have to pay back £10,000 as interest. Absolutely shocking. So I contacted Declan at Lomond Improvements and in an email, he assured me that my down payment would be refunded 'swiftly'
I am still waiting on my down payment of £1000, despite numerous emails to remind him. His tone in the emails has become aggressive and rude. A solicitor is now involved and the Trading Standards Office have also been informed.
I would advise anyone thinking of having work done on their home, DON'T!
Disgraceful and disgusting behaviour from them and with all the sales patter, they make out as if they are 'la crem de la crem' in their field.
Edit: after being accused of writing a 'fictitious' review, (see below their reply), it's time people got the truth. I have just checked my bank account today at 8.01am and the £1000 still isn't back in. Yes, I've just reform abroad but my online banking account was checked on numerous occasions, more so at 12.30am just before I wrote this review.
I've taken the time to read through other negative reviews which are similar to mine.
Lomond Improvements are chucking their toys out of the pram in a tantrum because people are giving an account of their negative experience and they don't like that.
I will be phoning the Police if I get any more harassment from them.

Just had a new roof fitted - great job - everything/everybody arrived on schedule as we were told - on completion everything was removed again exactly as scheduled - very helpful and hard working roofers. Big thanks to Lindsay in the office who managed and communicated the schedule - would recommend anyone who asked for a reference - thanks.
