You cancel and they still take money out of your account

I cancelled the account over the phone. Now, they apparently have no record of this and still automatically renewing my subscription. Logmein won't refund due to the terms of renewal, which I didn't authorise.
It looks like since their data breach, they are doing dodgy things to keep the company afloat.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ALSO KNOWN AS GOTO.

LogMeIn cancellation rip-off

LogMeIn Rescue used to be a great product but I no longer use it as better alternatives have come along. Tried to cancel my account only to be told my contract has 8 months to run so I have to keep paying them for another 8 months. Total rip-off. I would no longer recommend them to anyone.

a sad shadow of what LogMeIn used to be

Unfortunately, since GoTO took over LogMeIn, the level and quality of their service has dropped dramatically, with staff being unable to offer decent support any longer, chatbots that simply do not understand basic english, and staff that only seem interested in selling and not delivering service anywhere near the level we used to get from LogMeIn; a dramatic and ultimately depressing drop in standards that their customers are powerless to change apart frrom cancelling their subscriptions.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. You would think an IT company would have good IT itself but after being prompted for my case number three times the rep picking up asked for it anyway. The first rep hung up on me when I said I wanted to cancel the service. The rep also refused to cancel the account until I perfectly recited my old credit card billing address they had from 10 years ago which I was missing a box number on. Absurd. They deserve 0 stars.

Officially the worst customer service on the planet

Trying to make a payment!!! Your phone call will go like this!!

Step 1) How can I help, you will them the problem oh I need to transfer you!!

step 2) Then through to the next agent who hasn't a clue about the last conversation who will then transfer you, see step one.

It's an absolute dog muck of a company, they just follow a script which in the script common sense is not allowed

Gotocom*logmein charged my credit card…

Gotocom*logmein charged my credit card automatically for an annual renewal without my authorization. I did not notice this until much later reviewing my credit card statement. I had not used the service during the prior contract term for at least 8 months, so obviously unactive. They never requested authorization to renew and my bad for not removing my credit card from their system.

Have used logmein Pro for over five…

Have used logmein Pro for over five years. Price for two pcs has doubled - money to be automatically taken out of account and so difficult to cancel. Not possible online and need to call specific UK number only provided after completely firm, typing in codes. Not a company I want to hear about ever again.

TRY CANCEL !!

Took me weeks to get a response to a 'ticket' requesting cancellation. this arrived a week before my service would have renewed automatically beyond my control. The 'ticket' gave me a +1 USA number to call and cancel, despite my reluctance, what choice did I have? They done all they could to retain me, and to be fair, if there was an online cancellation option, I may have considered it. Once I was put through to the correct department (took 3 transfers) The chap was very courteous and helpful.

Poor Cancellation Policy

I was using LogMeIn for one of my employees. She was semi-retired and rarely used it. Now that she is fully retired, I tried to cancel our subscription. It is not possible to cancel online. Instructions say to request a ticket number and call a number they provide after you get the ticket number. I called the number and spoke with someone who was likely in India with a strong accent. She informed me that my subscription had auto-renewed in October and she would stop the auto renewal. She would not issue a partial refund for the remaining nine months left in the year. She indicated the contract so states. So buyer beware of this policy. As most software subscriptions allow prorated cancellations, you should be able to find a better company to work with. And please note that LogMeIn is now GoTo.

It this day and age you'd expect to be…

It this day and age you'd expect to be able to cancel online without having to call the support team. You can bet the call is to a premium number. £359.99 annual subcription is a joke. Software works well but I'd rather drive to work.

Horrible customer service, waste of money, billing closed account

Horrible customer service, and they continue to try and bill us AFTER we paid off our contract and asked for the account to be closed, threatening to take us to collections. I will be contacting legal representation to address this issue, if they continue to threaten with a bill that has already been paid. Save yourself the headache and wasted money, and go with Zoom. There is a reason nobody uses this horrible platform. What a waste of money.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience. They cannot get it to work. Actually told me to go to the remote computer and then did not respond to me until the next day when I was no longer there. They don't issue refunds so I can't even cancel until my year is up, which thankfully is only another month. Run the other way!

Charged again even though service was cancelled

We cancelled our service over a year ago and even were refunded when cancelled as they had charged. However we were charged again this year and it has taken again time and effort to get a refund all of which was unnecessary. If this was a UK company I suspect there would be some kind of financial investigation. They really need to up there game.

Unauthorized ACH withdrawals despite canceling three (3) times two years in a row...

The fact they kept charging us two years in a row by ACH debit after we had canceled our account. Not only that, but they send out an invoice with an email ar.us at LMI that they later claim is not one they use (but its on all the invoices they sent), and on the invoice, indicated we could pay by check or send wire / ACH to their account listed, but nowhere did they indicate they were going to withdraw the money by ACH. After the withdrawal they also did not send a receipt or a copy of the transaction (which is required by law). Clearly, they are intentionally misrepresenting and doing this knowingly.

Overpriced and terrible billing support

They raised the price from $49 to $349 for individual accounts, then when I canceled the service and canceled the debit card that they were billing then they still continued to bill me fraudulently.

As bad support as it gets. Very disappointed.

First of all there is no phone number on there site.
Found the number in google. Call them for issue I have: LMI takes about 60% CPU resources according to task manager. Support person told me that it is my problem and they can not modify anything on my PC. I asked just to check why it could happen and help to troubleshoot. He just keep telling me that it my problem not theirs.
