Excellent course material, but only partial access at the moment
I participated in the course in beginning of 2024. It is excellent material for UI architecture. In that form I don't find it anywhere else.
I purchased a lifetime access to the course materials back then. In the meantime they moved to a new platform. Now I want to look at it again, but if I want to register for the new platform, I am requested to give my banking information. Could you please provide me with the course material logicroom team, without me having to pay or give my banking information? I already asked you via email. Thanks
Update 28.2.2025: Nobody from the logic room team reached out to me so far. It is 2 weeks ago that I asked per Email how to get access again. This is why I go from 3 stars to 2 stars.
Update 7.3.2025: An email to Pete finally lead to the course access. This is why I go from 2 stars to 3 stars.
Enrolling in LogicRooElevating My UI Architecture Skillsm.co's UI…
Enrolling in LogicRoom.co's UI Architecture course on Fast Test Architecture has been an incredibly enriching experience for me. Despite coming into the course with a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge, the curriculum and its practical applications have significantly deepened my understanding of front-end architecture. Now, as I progress through to Module 9, I'm not just revising what I already knew; I'm assembling a complete, nuanced picture of how various elements of UI architecture interlink and function together in a real-world scenario.
The course structure is meticulously designed, guiding students through each concept with clarity and depth. The practical exercises are particularly beneficial, offering hands-on experience that is both challenging and immensely rewarding. This approach has not only reinforced my existing knowledge but has also introduced me to new techniques and best practices.
I appreciate the emphasis LogicRoom.co places on understanding the 'why' behind each architectural decision, which has been pivotal in enhancing my decision-making skills in project work. The insights into Fast Test Architecture have been eye-opening, equipping me with the tools and confidence to implement more efficient, scalable, and maintainable front-end architectures.
To anyone looking to solidify their understanding of UI architecture or to gain a comprehensive overview of Fast Test Architecture, I cannot recommend this course highly enough. The knowledge and skills I've gained are directly applicable to my projects, and I'm excited to see how this newfound expertise will shape my future work.
Teaches simple and clean architecture through doing
The team are very approachable and encouraging, and have clearly learned from the trenches that this architecture works. The content makes great refreshers, the concepts are transferrable and the exercises make excellent talking points for the mentoring sessions. I feel like the Discord community is a place where I can speak to like-minded architects about anything I might confront when implementing my next work project.
I found out about Logic Room via their Youtube ad campaign, and attended their free webinars that give you an understanding of how their UI architecture principles and conventions can dramatically increase testability and provide a simple and repeatable template for long term stability in SPA codebases. Attending the webinar allowed me to secure a discount on their JavaScript UI Architecture & Testing Academy course and I was able to recover the cost from an expense claim to my company.
Fantastic course, you won't regret
Fantastic course that will teach you proper fundamental UI Architecture approaches that are framework agnostic that you can apply to your complex UI apps and make them simple to write and to test!
Tons of material, yet simple to comprehend. Lots of exercises and the final project where you make the final sample app helps you assimilate the knowledge.
Big community of students that help each other on discord and the main coaches,
Pete and Ilia are fantastic communicators and are always ready to answer any of your questions on private coaching calls.
Super psyched to have come across this course, it helped me achieve total breakthrough in my approach and develop a birds view on the proper app architecture.
It also helped me greatly to get a Techlead Position in a reputable company that is a market leader in North America, due to me being able to propose novel ideas and show expertise in UI app architecture after this course.
And in the company before that, the ideas from even the free materials provided by Pete before I purchased the course helped me resolve all the mess created by the previous devs and achieve infinite scalability for a UI app checkout flow by making it support all countries and languages, rather than being limited to just 1 country and 1 language before I introduced the infinite concepts into the app.
This is no BS, high value course, that will elevate your game to a new level, beyond the frameworks.
Highly recommended!

Learn to build scalable UI
Feel like frontend testing is more complicated than it needs to be? Want to build Frontend Apps that don't become increasingly complex? Ultra Fast testing architecture might just be the answer you are looking for and it is among the things that you will learn in this course. Additionally, the coaches in this course are very communicative and supportive. Very glad to be taking part in it.
This course is pure gold
This course is pure gold, it will show you how to think like an architect. You will develop a way to think about software in a structured way using layers that will provide you simplicity and clear intent so that you hear about a file and you already know what is has and what it does and that is just the beginning. You will also be able to write infinately scalable code that is foolproof, modular, uncoupled and fully auto tested so that if you even manage to break something so uncoupled you know exactly where did break and when (what action made it break).
Unlike any other course i've taken, unique content and straight to the point
As a seasoned front-end developer, I've had my fair share of experiences with various learning platforms and instructors. However, my time with logic room, under the guidance of Pete, has been nothing short of revolutionary. Pete's approach to teaching fast test architecture and UI architecture principles is not just unique; it's a game-changer in the world of front-end development.
Innovative and Fast-Paced Test Architecture:
What sets Pete apart is his profound understanding of fast test architecture. His methods aren't just about writing tests; they're about accelerating the testing process without compromising on quality. This approach is invaluable in today's fast-paced development environments, where time is often a critical factor.
Deep Dive into UI Architecture Principles:
Pete's teachings on UI architecture are deeply rooted in practicality, yet they soar into the realms of advanced principles and patterns. He doesn't just scratch the surface, he dives deep, ensuring that you understand the 'why' as much as the 'how'. This comprehensive understanding is crucial for building scalable, maintainable, and robust front-end applications.
Next-Level Decoupling Techniques:
One of the most impressive aspects of Pete's curriculum is his focus on decoupling. The techniques he teaches are not commonly found in conventional courses. This knowledge is pivotal for developers looking to enhance the scalability and testability of their applications. Pete's strategies for decoupling components and logic are sophisticated yet practical, making them immediately applicable to real-world projects. You're also given weekly coaching sessions where your cohort are able to meet and ask questions as well as access to a discord channel where Pete and his team as well as you're fellow peers past and present are able to help outside of these sessions.
Real-World Applicability and Scalability:
The course isn't just theoretical. Every concept Pete introduces is backed by real-world applicability. This connection to actual development scenarios makes the learning process much more relevant and effective. As someone who works on complex projects, the scalability aspect of his teachings has been particularly beneficial for me.
Personalised and Engaging Teaching Style:
Beyond the technical prowess, what makes Pete an exceptional instructor is his personalised approach to teaching. He understands that each developer has unique strengths and areas for improvement, and he tailors his guidance accordingly. His engaging style keeps the sessions lively and ensures that complex concepts are more digestible.
In conclusion, my experience at logic room under Pete's mentorship has been extraordinary. It's not just another course; it's a career-defining journey for any front-end developer looking to excel in fast test architecture and UI architecture principles. If you're looking to take your skills to the next level, Pete's course is an investment that pays dividends in profound knowledge and practical skills, I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to further their career towards senior, lead or architecture roles.
This course gave me a new way of…
This course gave me a new way of thinking about software, I use the concepts from this course daily. Pete is great, approachable, and knows his stuff. Highly recommended, perfect for those wanting to refine their skills.
Worthwhile for any serious javascript developer
The methods I've learned on this course fit that brilliant category of "obvious in retrospect" - unlearning some of the restrictions various frameworks have put in place has given me a sense of freedom and confidence to pursue a more architectural (and testable) process going forward. Pete is open, approachable and clearly knows what he's talking about.
This was an excellent course
This was an excellent course. It taught me concepts that I now use all the time. This course shows you how to apply clean architecture principles to the front end environment.
This course will teach you how to write software that is robust, and easy to test and maintain using proven design patterns. This course will increase your ability as a software engineer.
UI Architecture Academy
The UI Architecture Academy offers valuable tools for creating scalable, testable web applications with javascript frameworks. I thinks it's particularly helpful for those with little frontend design patterns experience. Seasoned developers can also find it valuable for exploring alternative approaches to what they're accustomed to.
This was a fantastic course that I…
This was a fantastic course that I learned A LOT from. I've been applying the architectural concepts and TDD approach they teach to my everyday job and it has yielded a lot of fruit. The code I write is so much cleaner and I attribute that to a lot of the techniques I learned from the course. If you are not already super experienced in TDD and architectural patterns like MVVM and you really like to learn, I would highly recommend this course for you. It will be a great investment in your coding career.
A real eye opener
This course has been a real eye opener. The futher through I get the more places I can see in my day to day work where implementing the patterns I have learned here will make my (and my teams) life just so much easier.
I have talked to my team about the black box and Fast testing and they are all excited to get on board. I can't wait to learn more about Inversion of Control and see how many more benefits I get from decoupling my code.
My experience with logicroom
With more backend experience, I wanted to expand my frontend knowledge as my current job requires it. During the training I was very pleased and constantly motivated as the content was really extremely interesting, as well as Pete's way of explaining each module in detail. Already from the initial lessons I could apply what I was learning not only to the frontend but also to the backend. In general, I was very pleased with both the training and the support of the entire logicroom team.
UI Architecture Academy
The course offers a well-thought-out way of structuring UI projects that are resistant to trends that come and go.
It is well-prepared from an educational standpoint and divided into several modules. In addition to video materials explaining the concepts, it offers many exercises that guide the student to the final project.
Many of the concepts presented in the course will also be useful to you on the backend.
The community and mentors are very helpful.
I think it's money well-spent because it takes a lot of time and experience to come to presented conclusions.
A course to build testable applications
I found this training when I was trying to figure out how to level up from senior level without becoming a manager.
Initially I found it hard to find a proper training containing architecture guidelines, then I found Logicroom.
If you decide to attend a training, this is what you get: prepared materials (videos, notes, code samples, exercises),
some slack channel with helpful people and some regular coaching sessions.
You may also ask for extra assistance with real projects (I could not try this option as I have signed a NDA).
You can get help with custom tools or frameworks too.
The main materials use React.js without Typescript.
There are supporting materials for Next js and others too.
The testing part is excellent and straightforward.
The architecture part built on some knowledge I might not have (I am not familiar with mobx)
so I moved forward slower than with the first chapter.
The code samples are helpful.
The architecture big picture is definitely useful, same stands for testing.
I think I can use things I learnt here on a real project soon.
You should attend this training if you would like to know more about clean frontend architecture and testing.
Great course for developers struggling with UI Testing
Overall a good experience. I learnt a lot of techniques like testing UI without actually testing the UI. Helped me get clarity in some great coding practices.
Front-end development with Clarity and Simplicity
The clarity of the tutorials backed up with excellent example code walkthroughs make this one of the most rewarding and enjoyable courses I've undertaken.
The ideas and principles are fundamental to improving front end development which can often be a confusing and overly complex process cluttered with different frameworks and inconsistent approaches.
The courses at LogicRoom cut through this confusion by focusing on the key underlying logic of UI architecture and how to decouple your own code from overbearing framework details. The result is cleaner, testable custom logic that is easy to understand and scale for larger apps.
