Selling parts that don't even remotely fit. Called and they have no clue how it's supposed to work either. Offered no solution but did say sorry and that's it.
Head imperfections in the grill that were noticeable.
Set me a second one had the same issue in the same spot. Told me there was nothing that they could do cause it's a T tooling issue. No compensation will never use them again.
LMC Truck is a Trash company. TRASH. Doesn’t stand behind their products AT ALL. Ordered a carpet for the back of our truck. Came. CHEAP, THIN, color doesn’t match at all! Have to pay return shipping and don’t get the original shipping back. So out over $100 for nothing.
This is apparently how their return policy is for every product. We have never had to return or exchange anything before so never ran into this problem. Won’t be ordering again.
I can’t leave no stars so waiting a month for my cab mount bracket and all I get is sorry horrible service the last time I deal with lmc I wish they had a review page so customers can see before they buy
They missed off the most expensive item of my order.. a bench seat replacement cover, $224! it was an international shipment so i had to pay about $200 in taxes & shipping costs! Previous to this balls-up, they sold me (again international shipment) a faulty voltage regulator! *AVOID LIKE THE PLAQUE*

Went to LMC truck today waited for 15 minutes for help although there were to employees working, both with another customer. I was told by the customer service department that the part I was looking for was in stock and could go into the store to pick up. When I get the after the wait the work who was helping me Ryan was really no help at all. I physically should him the part I was looking for and and told him the make and model of my truck he said that truck does not have a replacement part for a door handle only for doors without power windows. I told him my truck does have power windows and he said are you sure. Yea I use the power windows every day to open my door. He then asked if I was sure the part I needed was really broken I agin should him the part. I asked if he could go look at the truck door to see if I was missing something and he again said we don’t have that part for a door with power windows. Very poor customer service I drove an hour to get this part I was told was in stock. It was a waste of time and I would really think twice about trying to get parts from the LMC location in lenexa, Kansas.
These people, whom we had ordered from before, sent us a returned item with missing parts and when I called to ask for instructions on install, they would not give me the information because I was not on the account. What??? It's truck parts, not a freaking bank account. I explained that my husband is working 6 days and 10 hour days. We have no reason to try to scam this company, my husband wanted some fog lights, and some wiring information, that's all. We didn't care if we got a return, but this return was incomplete, missing parts.
They suck. They think they are the IRS. Will not allow you a tax exemption even if you sent it to them.
Order still not here . Been 2 weeks and not here . Guess I'll be using Brothers truck next time .
I orderd 10 items on January 14, at 10:30 AM. I had called during the Chrismas season and was told that they were behind in shipping because of a busy holiday season and a blizzard that hit KC. So I decided to wait until January 14, 2025. I ordered some miscellaneous fastners and a drivers side window for my '78 Cheyenne. I checked the order on line January 16. Status showed "processing". Called LMC customer service on 1/20/25 and was told that order still "processing". I order from a number of parts vendors and they normally ship next day, some same day. They also provide good order tracking. LMC is extraordinarily S L O W Plus they do not provide any kind of online order tracking. Very disappointed.
UPDATE! I received my order on 1/24/25. I ordered some parts from another supplier after this one and it took 3 days. I did order from LMC on 3/3, they shipped on 3/6 and I received it on 3/8. I am grateful that it was not delayed like the first order. I like their online order system and the parts are priced fairly and the quality has been good. Just wish they could process and ship orders a littl quicker.
Thanks for your honest response. I changed my response from a 1 to a 3. I just ordered today 2/7 at 5:10 EST. I hope it arrives by Wednesday, 3/12.

I don’t but parts often from LMC. I can typically get them cheaper and faster from Amazon or eBay.
I ordered some door molding a few years ago for my 88 k1500. It was anything but stock. I needed to modify the parts to install them
and they degraded very quickly.
My recent purchase took 8 days to get here. That may not sound unusual but it took 2 days for the part to get from Kansas City to San Francisco. Then 6 days to get from SF to my house. A distance of maybe 90 miles. Go figure.
Edit: Their response to this review was a fabrication, USPS won't give an updated delivery time until a package is received, and I received the package on Jan 6th and tracking shows the package made it to the postal facility on Jan 2nd. I'm blown away by the absolute contempt for their customers this behavior displays.
12/17/24: I checked the tracking for a package that has was supposedly shipped on 12-10 and the shipper shows it was never received so I call and ask to have replacements shipped (or the originals) and was told "no, wait until Friday to verify the package hasn't come" and "that they would never approve sending replacements" unless I wait. After spending thousands is it worth losing a customer for 12 bucks? My company would never treat their customers this way.

Very slow shipping times. Constantly blame the shipping vendor when in all reality they are not actually moving product out of the door within a week. 8 days so far for something that was "in stock" to not move beyond a shipping label be printed. Don't order from here if you need it in a reasonable amount of time.

Ordered parts and LMC got the order wrong in that one item in a kit was wrong. Call them to talk about it and they wanted a bunch of pictures instead of sending me the right part they left out! Ridiculous! Looking for a different company to restore my pickup truck with!

Ordered parts for a truck on 12/4/24, today is 12/17/24 and I still have no parts delivered. Called and asked for help, emailed and asked for help. Wait longer is all they will tell me. Now another order that was supposed to be here by yesterday is lost, idk what is going on but customer service is unhelpful. I’m missing $200 in parts and they offer me $25 gift card. Now when I track it usps says to file an insurance claim. But appears only the sender can file for lost packages.

1983 chevy square body truck, the lower and upper ball joints failed! Poor quality parts. For a truck that sits in the garage more than it is driven. Right at a year the parts failed and caused a lot of damage. LMC Truck will not replace all the damage or reimburse you $262 for towing you home.
Had been using LMC parts in restoration of a 73 k10 pickup. Parts came in a reasonable time and quality was so so depending on the part, but the big issue and to be aware about LMC is many of there parts do not fit or work. Almost every part I purchased has been this issue. Now I knew 73 is an odd ball year in the k10 so some issues I'd expected, but I also have a donar 79 k10 and many the parts had similar fit issues. Some examples is shoulder strap seat belts had incorrect bolts and I had to take them off the 79 I had. Pressure switch for the AC had completely wrong fitting for both 73 and 79. Wing door panels gaskets had holes for rivets that did not line up at all which had to drill new holes to make them work despite 73 and 79 being the same. Amongst these examples there was a several others as well, but expect if you order parts from LMC that you may need to modify the parts because most there parts may not fit out if the box. Lastly, I found USA1 to be a better buy for fitment despite there prices being slightly higher than LMC.
I ordered a 1984 Chevy C10 battery tray from LMC. I received said part, and it did not allow standard Chevy/GMC battery hold-down block to fit. I called customer service rep and told them about non-fit problem. I got no positive response until I requested a supervisor. Tim, the supervisor, did respond to my request to send another tray. It has arrived, and stock battery that fit with stock tray does, again, not fit the shipped battery tray. The hold-down block does not fit because the rear battery retainer is manufactured too far forward, just as I told Tim, and many reps from this company. I asked Tim if they actually checked to see if a standard battery fits-- do they QC their product-- and he replied NO. Please refund my money as now I have to seek an automotive repair shop to create some sort of alternative battery hold-down.

I ordered rocker panel for my 71 F250 the quality control for the stamping is horrible. Never order this part. The stamping is way off. I had to alter it out of the box. It will not fit with the other body lines. It will leave you disappointed, do not waste your money, the stampings are way off. The worst thing about this is that it said it is made in the USA. I find it hard to believe this part was made in the USA, LMC truck do better. I welcome your reply.
LMC replied to this review just like other customers receive replies also.
Another review was written before I wrote mine and noted the same defect in the part, LMC truck did absolutely nothing knowing the part was defective but continued to sell it. As I said in my review, the sheet metal stamping is way off. LMC truck, simply look at the part and compare it to the original factory stamping.
Pull all the remaining stock on your shelf and throw it all away and discipline your quality control dept. Our restoration shop in the mean time will look for parts at other vendors other than LMC truck. Start caring about what your customers are telling you about your products.
