Thumbs down
As an existing fund holder, I found it impossible to register for an online account.
I tried multiple times. I reached out to them by phone, they promised to sort it, but nothing happened. They don't respond to secure messages. They never reached out back to me.
For any interested would-be investors, I have held the fund for 25 years. The return averages 5.5%pa. About the same as a building society savings account.
A great alternative …
These guys are a good alternative to other platform/service providers, with the key point that the My Liontrust platform is free, i.e you only pay the fund fee itself. The team are also responsive and efficient with regard to any questions or follow-up. Two things stop this being 5 stars - from my perspective the platform can be a bit 'clunky', plus there seems to be to be some fund overlap which makes it difficult to choose the exact one you want.
