Child Injured at Lionheart Children’s Academy at Springcreek — Serious Safety Concern

On June 23, 2025, my daughter suffered a serious injury at Lionheart Children’s Academy at Springcreek, resulting in her front teeth being knocked out.

The injury occurred during a physical game where children of different sizes were allowed to run full speed at each other. In my opinion, this creates a dangerous and preventable safety risk in a childcare environment.

Watching my daughter struggle to eat, live in pain, and emotionally recover for over a month was heartbreaking. As a parent, it was devastating to see her suffer from something I believe could have been avoided with better supervision and safer activity policies.

No other child should have to go through this, so I asked whether the game would be discontinued after her injury. I was told it would continue because “the kids love the game.” I found this response deeply concerning given the seriousness of her injury.

Parents considering Lionheart Children’s Academy at Springcreek may want to ask detailed questions about physical activities, staff supervision, safety protocols, and how injuries are handled before enrolling their children. Child safety should always come first.
