Lovely linen, package took much longer than expected & no customer service
Love the linen, it feels like good quality, has washed well so far & the colours are great! Postage took awhile to get to us, but we were happy with the product when we received it.
Do not order from this company!
Beware! The "made-to-measure" articles doesn't fit correctly (the arm hole is only big enough for a child's arm), and Linenshed, despite the provisions of their written return policy on their website, refuse to accept a return. Highly unprofessional and slightly criminal! I'll file a complaint with the EU Commission for Consumers. I hope others will follow suit.
Never received my order.
Avoid buying linen pyjamas
Bought a pair of pyjamas and after one wash they are now a childs size. Linenshed refuse to acknowledge the issue despite them sending me confirmation of the sizes that they made being too small in advance once of any washing. AVOID
Prices up and quality down- too bad!
I ordered almost all my bedding from linen shed about 6 years ago, and the quality was wonderful, really good heavy linen. Then I ordered another duvet cover and pillowcases in bordeaux color, last week. They arrived today and I am very disappointed- the linen is very inferior to the bedding I received 6 years ago, and reading about shrinkage I am now very scared to wash them. Prices have gone up and quality is down, customer service -from what I read here- is also non-existent. Which doesn't surprise me, considering the whole production moved to Portugal. Too bad, it used to be a high quality and dependable business.
Return a Nightmare
(This is about linen Bedlinen, I did not like the colour. Ordering is easy, via a uk website, which made me think I was dealing with a UK company, but return is a nightmare. I repeatedly requested my return confirmation and was finally instructed to choose my own carrier and send parcel back to an address - in Portugal!! Paid £27 postage and insurance (dpd) and had to fill in a most complicated customs form. Informed Linenshed and included order ref and tracking Nr. - only to receive numerous automatic emails asking me to return the item. I told them again it had already been sent off, as instructed, but they completely ignored my email. This was three weeks ago. Then suddenly I received an email asking me p, yet again, to return the item but use a specific DPD return form which had been filled in by Linenshed as they found customers had too much trouble filling it in by themselves. Meanwhile my own dpd parcel, sent off on 13.9, is now in Portugal and has been “waiting to be cleared by customs” for ten days. I have had no clear and personal response from Linenshed about my own case and continue to wait for my refund.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company, as many other had said below they will not help at all when it comes to refunds. The customer service with this company is non existent so I would not advise ordering from them. I washed an item in 10 degrees which then shrunk to a large degree, they then refused to replace it or allow a refund and blamed the washing technique which is a complete excuse to avoid taking responsibility. It’s clear they had not prewashed their linen to avoid shrinkage. I have never ever had an issue washing any other items cold and cold is also exactly what they advised for their linen. Either way their customer care is really really bad, they just don’t care. I’ve never experienced this before. Clearly a tiny company and they don’t have the money or inclination to run it properly as a bigger one would care for customers and issues such as this.
If you need to return they are a nightmare
I ordered a curtain that unfortunately needed to be returned as it didn’t match the one I had previously ordered from them. I had paid £38 for speedy production and delivery (which eventually took a long 10 days - not very speedy). When I tried to return I was informed that I had to pay £25. Annoying, but fine I paid it. Then a couple of weeks later I receive my refund but they have subsequently removed my original £38 speedy production and delivery fee. So now I have paid for the curtain to be delivered, paid for it to be returned and paid for to speedy delivery again in effect. From what I can work out I am £63 worse off with no product to show for and some awful customer service who just ignore you and don’t respond. I wouldn’t use this company ever again.
Allow for plenty of shrinkage when ordering.
I bought a pair of linen pyjamas and was pleased with them. However, after one 30 degree wash with other linen items, they shrank and now look ridiculous. My advice would be to buy items that are about 10cm longer in the leg and sleeves to allow for shrinkage. Linen pyjamas are great but expensive, especially if you have to pass them on after one wash. The company says this has never happened before but equally I can say it has never happened to me before either. A very good pair of pyjamas - apart from the shrinkage!
Delighted
Having struggled to find a table runner long enough for our dining table, I was delighted to find that Linenshed offer a bespoke service. I ordered 2 runners which arrived in time for Christmas and well within the time frame quoted. The quality and colour of the runners is superb and I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
The quality was good and the service…

Quality Linen Tablecloth
I ordered the linen tablecloth in Natural colour and I couldn’t be more pleased.
This tablecloth is only going to get better with age.
Always difficult to find the size I need 180cm x 180cm but now I’ve found Linenshed I will be using them again.
Superb blackout linen curtains and great value
I did a lot of market research before buying our first Linenshed blackout natural linen curtains over 3 years ago and am so pleased with the quality of our curtains that I have now bought 22 of them, most recently replacing unlined linen curtains from another seller with Linenshed blackout curtains in our bay windows. I have bought the great value custom made curtains each time and they fit beautifully. Easy to wash, high quality and beautiful to look at. I’m a very happy customer! Even better, GB customers pay no customs or VAT after Brexit. These curtains are great!
I loved the quality of the linen
I loved the quality of the linen, I definitely recommend it and I will complete my dining room in my home with this beautiful linen.
"I am very pleased with my experience…
"I am very pleased with my experience at Linenshed! The quality of the products is exceptional, and the customer service was impeccable, from the moment of order to delivery. The sheets I purchased are of high standard, soft, and durable. I highly recommend Linenshed to anyone seeking quality and exceptional service. I will be back to make more purchases! Thank you!"
We got a very beautiful duvet cover
We got a very beautiful duvet cover, we chose the mustard color. It’s amazing how it looks with the natural light coming from the window, in the bedroom! The linen is very good quality and I love the feeling of the fabric. We are just in love with it!
We also got pillow cases, and they are also super comfortable to sleep on.
Everything was as described, we even got small samples to see the colors available which is very helpful for future purchases.
The delivery was perfect! Really only positive experience from this purchase.
They are exactly working as describe

Quality and luxury linen
Quality and luxury linen. I highly recommend it. I loved my curtains
Really poor quality
Really poor quality. Ordered a custom size linen tablecloth. Took 3 weeks to arrive. When it arrived I saw the (very small) parcel and thought “that’s IT?” Really thin linen that I can see through. £110 for a very, very poor quality item.
