Better movement
I have been coming to Life Balance Chiropractic for over a year now, initially having adjustments for back issues. I now complement these with monthly massages with Jack, for tension in my jaw, neck and upper back. The whole team have been fantastic, from listening to my needs, whether it is the time of appointments I need, to treating specific areas of my body that have been troublesome.
I always leave feeling taller, lighter and relieved of tension, enabling me to move better.
All staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and professional and I recommend anyone who wants to empower their body to give this clinic a visit .

They make you buy unnecessary sessions
Strong focus on selling unnecessary sessions.
- Treatment frequency: My pain had resolved by around the third session, yet I had to remain on a twice-weekly treatment plan for approximately 6 weeks.
- Lack of patient focus: I requested less frequent and later ad-hoc care, but was refused and had to follow the treatment plan to the end, before being offered a fortnightly plan, and only after that was I allowed a monthly subscription. I never received a clear, case-specific explanation of why the high frequency was necessary.
- Complaint handling: The treatment ended in April 2025, and I tried to raise my concerns through the practice's complaints process, but they refused to have it reviewed by the practice’s clinical lead. I was instead referred to an external body that could not consider the complaint.
- Overtreatment soreness: The number of sessions left my back unnecessarily sore after my original symptoms had resolved.
In short, the treatment itself was effective, but their care plan is designed to make you spend hundreds of pounds unnecessarily. I don’t recommend this practice to anyone.
*** UPDATE after practice's reply
The explanation provided by the practice was generic and untied to my clinical findings. They were unable to explain why someone without symptoms should take 12 sessions in a period of 6 weeks. And their response here only confirms that they're not willing to review their unethical practice.

The love and care I received from the whole team when I lost my dad in the summer has made the pain from grief a lot easier to handle and they have shown me some great techniques on how to manage that in to the future
I feel that my overall health and wellbeing has improved so much that I just wouldn’t want to go anywhere else

sceptical before starting…
To say I was sceptical before starting treatment would be an understatement. Since starting massage treatment with Jack and Chiropractic treatment with Dr Olivia I have gained 45 degrees of movement of my shoulder and a decrease in pain. This is only after 2 sessions with further sessions to come. I’m very excited to see what further benefits continued treatment by him and Dr Olivia can unlock! Hopefully I can regain the mobility I previously had prior to injury and be able to do pull ups once more!

My experience here has been great, Hope, Harrison and Chris have really helped with the chiropractic treatment and the improvements were instantly noticeable. Seeing results after the first session!
I've only been seeing Jack and Leon for a short while, but within a couple of months they've been able to help he regain a full range of motion and strength in my right shoulder, as well as helping to identify and begin working on areas that I didn't realise were causing issues.

I’ve been going to Life Balance for over 4 years now and it’s always so welcoming when you come in. It’s such a nice feeling when the reception team greet you by name and genuinely care about how you are. There’s lots of faces on reception but they are all so lovely and friendly. I’ve been seen by both Dr Josh and Dr Harrison who are both brilliant Chiropractors. I received exceptional treatment during my pregnancy and I have also recently received some massages from the amazing Jack which has really helped my recovery postpartum. I even bring my newborn in for adjustment sessions with Dr Hope who is brilliant! I always look forward to my visits each month at the clinic. Thank you Life Balance!

Ridiculous Quote and wrong diagnosis
Had assessment beginning Dec which I found unnecessarily drawn out, most was talking and not actually physical investigation, so was finally presented with an insanely expensive plan which I declined. Since then have had treatment elsewhere and the root of the problem is totally different to what they diagnosed and after only 2 visits my TMD is so much better all for under £100 so obviously glad I didn't commit to almost £1450! In fact it's annoying that I wasted £59 of the assessment. My advise if you don't want to spend loads of money and just want no nonsense treatment then find somewhere else.

We’re also sorry that the proposed care plan felt overwhelming. While we do offer a range of payment options, we recognise that this may not have been as clear as it needed to be during your visit. Decisions about care should always feel unrushed and entirely comfortable, and there is never any obligation to proceed.

Great and friendly service
I came into Life Balance with lots of discomfort and tension in my back and neck, not helped by a historic spinal injury. The treatment and communication from Dr Hope have been great, taking positive steps towards my recovery. It is reassuring having such focussed care based on my x rays. As well as the adjustments, the massages from Leon and Jo have been the most focussed and best I have had. I feel they are really targeting the specific problem areas well.
