Fabricated complaint, defamation threat, and extortion attempt — avoid at all costs
After terminating my contract with LevelUp AMZ due to underperformance and breach of agreement, I declined to continue paying their monthly retainer. What happened next was both shocking and completely unethical.
They threatened to send me to collections — and then escalated by fabricating a false customer complaint, claiming that one of our products caused severe skin damage. To support this, they attached an image that they claimed came from a customer. I ran the image through Google Lens and confirmed it had been pulled from the internet and is widely used across dermatology websites — not submitted by any customer.
This staged complaint was clearly meant to intimidate and extort me into resuming payment. They even threatened to report this fake incident to Amazon and spread it across multiple platforms, threatening it could harm my brand.
To clarify:
LevelUp AMZ had no access to my customers and no authority to handle customer service on my behalf
The image was public stock content unrelated to my brand
Their threats and actions have been reported to Amazon Legal, Amazon Brand Registry, and relevant authorities
No ethical agency would ever stoop to this level of manipulation. What began as poor service turned into a campaign of coercion, fraud, and reputational threats. If you care about your brand, steer clear of LevelUp AMZ.
