Our new gas cooker

We bought our free standing gas cooker and had it connected by a gas fitter which was fine but two days later when we came to use the grille and top over neither would stay alight. We did get an engineer out who sorted it out(the thermocouple connector hadn’t been connected inside .The engineer was very good.It did mean we couldn’t use it for the first 18 days.

Great Range Cooker

I bought a range cooker to replace a similar on that was over 20 years old. The new one still has the wok ring which seems to be a unique selling point and is very useful. It also has 3 ovens and a grill. Very pleased with it so far.

I recently moved.

I recently moved and my previous kitchen I had a Range dual fuel. The kithen in this house was grim beyond belief so wee had to have a refit fairly fast. [I was living out of boxes in the kitchen,it was that bad].
Firstly we were unable to purchase a Range in time and was steered towards the Leisure cooker. I must say I am completely thrilled with the cooker except one small problem. When the grill fan kicks in grill pan liner rattles [vibration]. No matter where I place the pan unless I remove the rack it rattles. I can live with that. Brilliant would recommend.

Lovely looking cooker

Lovely looking cooker, although still getting used to it as controls all different from previous gas cooker. Only disadvantage is no glass in top oven door so have to open to check on baking.

A very good looking cooker

A very good looking cooker. The controls are easy to operate. The instruction booklet is not very clear especially when explaining how to get the dual ring to work . I had to get the electrician from the local euronics shop from which I bought it to come and show me how it worked. Everything else is good and versatile. Having a small top oven is an extra bonus.

Poor quality Leisure range

The extractor fan is poor in performance as my kitchen steams up when cooking. I had to the difference to have it replaced with a Rangemaster extractor which is neither great but better than Leisure brand.

The Leisure cooker which I got in cream colour with black head, is high maintenance with cleaning the hob. I think the stainless steel head would have been better. The ovens are small and doesn’t fit a large tray. Even though there are two ovens on the unit, it does not compensate for the small size in terms of energy consumption in keeping two ovens running at the same time instead of one had the oven space been bigger. The storage area is good for storing baking utensils. I’ve not used the grill yet despite having the cooker for several months. I’m not impressed with it and I won’t buy anything Leisure again. It’s a waste of almost £1,400 being the cost of the hood and cooker. Plus I has to pay the electrician twice because I had the Leisure hood changed to the Rangemaster plus paying the difference between the two hoods. I’ve spent £2,000 all because I bought the Leisure range which in my view is not fit for purpose. I purchased in summer of 2025 but I decided to wait until now to review the products so that I can share a real time experience of the products after a few months of use.

Love the new stove

Love the new stove, however lighting of the elements is becoming harder. Seems I have to try 3 or 4 times before it stays on. Otherwise, great product.
