Scam
They kept sending me advertising letters about how good they are in lease extension, paid over 2k and just received an email that they are going into administration.
Trying to call and email them but no reply.

I am still waiting for replies to emails. I spent an insane amount of money getting my lease extended only to find I've been fobbed off with the excuse that the land registry were delaying the paperwork when infact they had already registered my lease extension in September 2020. Leasehold Solutions send a generic email every few months stating that they are still waiting to hear from them. I am now having problems completing a remortgage because their solicitor hasn't sent the paperwork. Nobody notified me that they are no longer trading!! I've just been to their website to find some contact details and the message flashed up. It's absolutely disgraceful. I wish I'd never used them. I've been waiting over 18 months for the paperwork!! Now I don't know what to do.
Have received an email saying that Leasehold Solutions Limited and Leasehold Valuers Limited (“the companies”) has to announce that the companies have ceased to trade. However the website is still showing as active - I am not sure this is legal.
This is a SCAM
paid 2053 pounds in an attempt to get free hold lost 1730 pounds altogether. no use. appears a scam. please don't trust them. lyons court. redrow harrow development
Amateurish and inexperienced. Engaged this company to extend a lease as they held themselves out to be leaders in this field, in reality they are project managers with little expertise in such matters. They were happy to pressurise and constantly chase when fees were payable but once the funds were transferred they are now seemingly unable to respond to any correspondence with the lease extension still incomplete. Two years down the line this sorry scenario continues. Avoid these cowboys they are expensive and ineffective.
Leasehold Solutions have offered invaluable advice to leaseholders throughout the country. They have helped to educated so many leaseholders with the information in order to make informed decision. I can not recommend them highly enough. They solely have the leaseholders interests at the heart of their business model. I am currently using them for group enfranchisment of my house.
When I first came to know of Leasehold Solutions I was a bit suspicious but they have been fantastic at helping us extend our lease with the local authority as our freeholder. The whole feudal system is designed to rip off leaseholders but they have taken care of everything, negotiated in my view a reasonable price and kept us updated at every step and very clearly and consistently despite the process taking in excess of three years.
AVOID AT ALL COST! scam company trying to extract money through hidden costs at every step. Got quoted a cost range for lease extension (depending on the complexity of the case), only to see final bill come 10% over top estimate on a lease extension that turned out to be as vanilla as it gets with no complications. Then got shown costs which never existed in our initial discussions and cost breakdowns (like a cost of coordinating a survey on top of actual survey cost). To make things worse for what i was under impression will be some sort of specialised survey (as it costed 4 time regular survey) i got an online type survey with no in person visit by surveyor. Even more shady, company doing the survey turned out to be a connected company. And it didn't stop there, they engaged in unnecessary additional negotiations with freeholder with a sole purpose of charging me negotiation fee, only to achieve saving which is one sixth of the additional fee they charged. Quite sure all these are unfair/illegal practices so will be pursuing it further via legal route.
