I just had an installation(7/25) by LeafGuard out of Albany, N.Y. They have a quality product but it is expensive. 66 dollars a linear foot. 145 ft cost $9000. (76 ft Second story, and 69 ft Single... See more

Waterfall gutters.
I had the gutters put in three years ago. The area in front by the sidewalk always looks like a waterfall is coming down right on the sidewalk to the front porch. They said that the roof is so deep there, I need a diverter. Now it is clogged in that corner because I can see small sticks sticking out. Called two weeks ago and received a call that I was on the work order list. Called again today and was told they are coming out tomorrow. 8 pm and no call. Waterfall out front again. So much for the gutters that never get clogged or need repair. Buyer beware!

Nic Cleriei has been our rep for leafgaurd today. Very knowledgeable and helpful with our experience in purchasing their system. He really seems to care about his customers and their homes. Great price!
Do NOT Do Business with Leaf Guard
Had a pushy sales person come to my house and gave me the big presentation, scare tactics regarding the state of my foundation blah blah blah. And then he hit me with a $22,000+ price tag to have gutters installed on my 2,100 square foot ranch. I nicely asked him to leave, but he persisted. Long story short, by the time he left I had him down to $7k for gutters. Now, this is still 3 x the cost for the standard 6" seamless aluminum gutters. These people are crooks, scammers and should not be in business. I am thrilled with my 6" seamless gutters (not Leaf Guard) and the total was only $2,100.
We’ve had our Leafguard gutters for…
We’ve had our Leafguard gutters for years and have had to call periodically to get clogs removed. The guys always show up and make things right. They did so again today.
Peace of mind-it’s worth a lot.
Terrible design
Terrible design. will clog and cause more damage to your home then the original gutters. Don't buy them, don't allow them to be installed
Read Before Buying Leaf Guard!!!
Had them come out for an estimate. Was initially told almost 11,000 but went down 25% with a veterans discount and immediate sign up discount. Brought the price down to 9K. One way to find out what something truly costs is to exercise your right to cancel within 3 days of signing a contract. My sales rep did not inform of my right to cancel either, thankfully I know my rights. I did that the next day and all of sudden what originally was quoted as an 11K job now would only be 6K. I did not accept that and felt like if they could do the job for 6K why was my original quote over 10K? I expressed this to my sales rep and he took it like I was questioning his and the companies ethics. I expressed to him that I felt the way I felt and that I was done chatting about it. After I asked him to stop texting me, low and behold on a Sunday I get a dissertation text about how I wasn’t correct in my opinion. In my previous message to him when I asked him to not text me again I explicitly said to take care and that the conversation was over, then mentioned that I may feel compelled to write a review if it didn’t end there. Well, it didn’t and I am following through with what I told him. Really glad I didn’t buy now especially reading the reviews about the quality of the product! I told him again today to not text me again… if he does will have to call the company, maybe the FTC about this situation as it would be bordering on harassment at that point.
BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE!!! This system is horrible. The warranty is worthless. It only covers clogged gutters, not when the metal mesh on top of the gutter clogs... and it will every year. You MUST clean the system every year just like with open gutters at much more cost. SAVE YOUR MONEY... you can use your $10,000 to clean your gutters without wasting it on this system.. they deserve a zero rating!!!
Waste of money still have to get on…
Waste of money still have to get on roof to clean off so water will run in instead of over.

Disrespectful Sales Tactics, Over Priced, Don't Work
The salesman was arrogant and extremely pushy. Asked me a question that would normally be a yes or no answer and when I said IDK, he yelled at me and said my answer had to be yes or no. Complete jerk! The product is way overpriced. He used an example of an abandoned house covered in vines to claim how good the gutters are. All that does is show how well they were installed, they do not divert rain. If it rains with wind, the wind blows the water off the edge of the LG gutter, making the gutter useless and causing damage. My roof is a tall sharp angle and these gutters do not capture the water. The "trap" where debris can be removed, has a very sharp metal inside that cut my hand. I am seriously considering suing them.
Are you kidding me??!
Just had a LeafGuard rep come over and give me a bid for 45ft. of gutters plus downspout. $7000.
Are you kidding me?! I sat through a 30 minute "presentation" for a $7000 bid?! I can replace all of the windows in my house for less that!
If you have lots of disposable income, this may be the company for you. But if you're middle-income, living on a budget, keep looking!!!!
Avoid. They will report you for any negative reviews.
Had these gutters for less than 2 years. I left a review on facebook.

Shared on Leafguard Brand Gutters
Today they had my account reported for spam and the post removed. What was wrong with my post? I told the truth, and provided a picture.
I would avoid this company. Not only did it not work as advertised, they will report you for any feedback that is not positive.
Beware, You had better know what questions to ask before you sign the contracts,
I had leaf guard gutters installed on my home. My major complaint is that they installed more drain pipes than were on my original gutters! My previous gutters all drained into underground pipes and then into a lake. One of the new downspouts drain into my yard causing excessive ponding. I was not told that they couldn’t connect all downspouts to my underground pipes and when I complained, they said there was nothing that could be done! Their gutters require more downspouts than other gutters,
And their gutters still accumulate leaves and debris which must be cleaned out of the downspouts frequently!
I would never buy this brand if I had known the problems that they created!!!!!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY - UNETHICAL AND OVERPRICED
Very pushy salespeople with inaccurate disparaging information about competitors and untrue praises about their own product (which actually looks pretty well designed). They misrepresent known issues they have with steep roof overflow, rapid rainfall overflow and icicles - all of which occur. Expensive and dubious pricing - I was quoted more than $70/linear foot!! Unethical advertising on TV too - you need to read all the fine print (read minutia) to get the real info and guarantee. Many better options are available than these guards - my overall view is that they are a ridiculous price and would be an OK option at 20% of the quoted price. Also, their model of directing all "issues" through the salesperson is a bad model for a company with significant customer complaints issues. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
We recently had leafguard installed on…
We recently had leafguard installed on our house. I had to get on top of a ladder at age 67 female, to clean out gutters out before leafguard. Now I don’t need to because of their no clog guarantee. It actually made the house look better, and the employees were all very nice and very professional. They made sure we were pleased with everything and cleaned up behind themselves. I really can’t say enough about them other than they are excellent.
Generation Z - Do your Thing
Signed up for LeafGuard as a group in my townhouse community. The group rate with discount was over $7,000 per townhouse. The first two townhouses were done, but with install issues. One of the homeowners had dealt with LeafGuard before and knew the install was sub par. It took so long to resolve I cancelled my order and they processed the refund on Oct 27. I woke up today Nov 13, still no refund. Hope you are proud of your company Milo. Not one promise met on your dealings with me. Please be cautious, customer service can only message management and you cannot reach them directly. What type of customer service is that? I cannot wait for generation Z to buy from you and get this treatment. Good luck.
Update: Day 18 and still no refund. Milo is blocking me from speaking with Utah management. I have been informed this is due to his commission structure. He has stated that it must take AX longer to process refunds. As an AX member for over 25 years, I find this inconsistent with AX track record.
Update: refund received- unresolved is the communication block and no one to reach out to other than Milo. Management never called me even tho customer service took my messages numerous times. Beware of companies that have no transparency with upper management. It’s a very odd business model.
A #10,000 dollar job with a life time guarantee not so
I had Leaf Guard gutters installed on 07/07/2020 ,one of the corner seams is weaking I called about their life time guarantee only to find out it only covers glogs not how the gutters are installed. It would cost $300 dollars to fix. When you no nothing about gutters you have to depend on their expert installer,I did when they came to me and said they had to move one of the down spouts, little did I no that left one side of my house without a down spout. To top off the problems the birds love to nest in the gutters and Leaf guard is hard to contact.
Not effective catching water on steep roofs.
The gutter design does not effectively collect water from roofs with steep pitch or any roof valleys - even in light rain. Water gushes over the top of my gutters like no gutter at all in all spots near roof valleys.
The salesmen will quote effectiveness at 2 inches/hour rainfall, but water flow across gutter segments near valleys can be 10-30 times that.
It probably works ok for ranch style houses (single gable) with shallow roofs.
The leafguard gutters are not worth the cost
The leafguard gutters put on my house are only 2 years old but I just looked today and noticed they look like 10 years old. They allow birds in and not as seamless as they say. The installers damaged the siding and left holes in where the old gutters where since they did not put the new ones at the same place. They damaged the roof at some places where the gutters meet. I wish I had purchased gutters somewhere else and not with leafguard.
Beware Of Leaf Guard
Leaf Guard installed Gutter guards and new drain pipes & downspouts in July 2022. After 8 months, I noticed the concrete was eroding under my steps. I hired a concrete company to replace the slab of concrete. They discovered a sink hole with 8" of water under the concrete caused by Leaf Guard not extending the drain pipe away from my foundation. Cost to get it repaired was $1,845. I was ignored by Leaf Guard when I contacted them and was told that it was there word against mine that this was their error. I have since filed a complaint with BBB, MHIC, & Maryland Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and have asked for Help by WMAR advocate Mallory Sofastaii. This company is not to be trusted & have no intention of following thru with any complaints. Read their reviews before you sign any contract. I am sorry that I did not.
Very pushy sales person, don't bother.
Very pushy sales person comes to your house and doesn't want to leave. These tactics work well with the elderly so I'm very suspicious of them. They quoted me $30,000.00 for gutters on my home and when I said time to go they started saying " why don't you want to protect your investment" I told her that she insulted my intelligence and my wallet and Iinsisted she leave. It was an uncomfortable situation for sure. Shame on them.
