I bought tickets for their London Catstravaganza show, was emailed days before saying the show was cancelled and we'd receive a refund in 60 days. This refund has not been paid and all attempts to contact them have been ignored. This company needs investigating.
I bought tickets for my friend and I to go to a show in London. The event was cancelled which I found out about online through another thread rather than being notified by them. They promised a refund within 60 days which it was has been well over now and they won’t reply to any messages on any platform and I still haven’t received my refund. Scammers!
This is a scam, DO NOT BUY TICKETS. For the London event they first moved the date, citing that it was the venues fault, before the new date arrived they sent out email that the event is now cancelled altogether. They said they would refund tickets according to their refund policy or alternatively you can get a lifetime membership. I have emailed about the refund twice and not heard back since. Will be reporting to the ombudsman.
Just this alone, which was sent in the email “ We are losing over 15K from our deposit, and the remainder of the show was to be paid out of the tickets the venue sold. However, as of today the venue has sold 18 total tickets, so this is not viable.” - is a massive red flag.
In response to the reply from LCWW (SM) that has created mischaracterization and false information for the purpose of deception and deflection:
"Hi Gigi....you love to be on the bad side of things or you have nothing to do...hated TICA, CFA and now LCWW. Good luck with your new copycat org. I bet they boot you soon or you'll fall out with them too."
1: Aside from one individual associated with the Cat Fancier's Association (CFA), I have never spoken negatively about the association. I value CFA as the Cat Fancy's Gold Standard and still hold an elected position representing my breed.
2: I am currently a member in good standing with The International Cat Association (TICA).
3: Initially, I was a strong supporter of LCWW, but I chose to disassociate myself from the group once I became aware of the ongoing court cases and the numerous complaints found on platforms such as Reddit, BBB, Trustpilot, and others. Below is an excerpt from my resignation email. dated January 21, 2025, I am willing to make public.
"Dear Steven and FFAP,
I am writing to formally announce my resignation from my position as Breeds Liaison. Due to the overwhelming number of complaints I have observed from spectators and vendors on online forums, as well as on the Better Business Bureau, I can no longer serve in good conscience in an official capacity for LCWW. I believe these groups represent some of the most innocent members of the Cat Fancy community, which often faces negativity."
4: I am not aware of any LCWW copycat associations. I would caution anyone considering starting one, as it could be counterproductive and hinder branding and business efforts. This is particularly relevant given the current issues of toxicity, debt, and mismanagement associated with the existing organization.
This business is a scam, they will take money for your tickets and change the dates and location very last minute. When I requested a refund they ignored for weeks and then when I sent an additional email they said they were refunding, then sent an email saying that they had no money left but could offer me a membership. Don’t purchase tickets for this event, it’s not real, as I have found many online reviews globally saying the same.

Scam. Expensive tickets for a show that gets cancelled, poor communication and no refund

Travelled down from Scotland to attend the Bristol event with my sister, both very much looking forward to the event. Pulled into an empty-ish car-park, went to reception to be told by a bemused receptionist the event had been cancelled very last minute. I had received zero communication from LCWW and looking at their muddled social media profiles there was no indication that the event would be cancelled.
Messaging on Facebook with a very defensive individual who claimed everyone had been contacted. In reality, it would seem their booking system is so disorganised they're not sure who has booked and, to be honest, I'm not sure they much care. I appear to be in the same boat as many other customers who were booked to attend Bristol or Belfast.
*True to form LCWW have exceeded the 60 day refund policy and I have still not received my refund. Literally 0% trustworthiness!

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. They cancel show events & don't refund. I. will be reporting this matter to appropriate authorities .
They say a refund can take 60 days ! This goes against the regulatory UK laws of refunds being issued within 30 days of notification.
Avoid this company😡

I haven’t received my refund for the Bristol Cat Show that was in April. Apparently, you have to ask for it but isn’t it their responsibility to refund you automatically.
Also, they have shared our private data ! Breached of GDPR!!

I received an email on the 7th April from the info@lcww email address informing me that the Bristol event, which was scheduled to happen on the 5th & 6th of April will been cancelled.. very helpful.. luckily I had found out from facebook ahead of time that it was cancelled after noticing the event was removed from their website.
In said email they also didn't BCC any of the 49 recipients, so I can see 49 personal email addresses and the email responses from anyone who is sending replies back on that email chain. I emailed back to let them know that they had just started an email chain with 50 peoples personal email addresses and got a boilerplate "..you will receive your refund in 60 days..." email.. they clearly didn't read my email informing them of this issue, at the least an apology would have been nice for sharing my personal email address with 50 people!
This has been reported to the ICO as a breach of GDPR.
As for anyone still waiting for a refund, do a chargeback with your bank. If they care about our refunds half as much as they care about our personal data then we're screwed.

The speciality breed cat club in the UK of which I am a member paid to sponsor some LCWW awards won by cats of the same breed as ours in other countries as we thought it would be a nice way of fostering relations with exhibitors and breeders abroad.
There had been an option on the LCWW website (in fact it is still there at the time of writing this review) to sponsor winners of awards for the 2023-2024 Show Year.
In October 2024 we paid to sponsor two LCWW USA Regional Awards and also a Latin America Regional Award won by cats of the same breed as ours in the 2023-2024 Show Year.
After paying to sponsor these awards we heard nothing further from LCWW.
The USA Regional Awards for 2023-2024 according to the LCWW Events Calendar had been due to be presented at the Sarasota Show in December 2024; however that show was cancelled and rescheduled for April 2025. The Sarasota Show for April 2025 was also then cancelled and rescheduled again for 27th December 2025 but this time with no mention of the USA Regional Awards being presented there. Then that Sarasota Show scheduled for December 2025 was only on the Events Calendar for a couple of weeks before being moved to 24th January 2026.
Our club has emailed LCWW asking them to confirm what is happening about the awards that we have sponsored but we have heard nothing back from them whatsoever.
It is our understanding that other sponsors of the USA Regional Awards and those who had been expecting to receive them have also been met with the same wall of silence from LCWW.
Exhibitors have put a lot of money, time and effort into going to shows in order to get their cats as far up the standings as possible in order to achieve these awards but it appears that it has all been for nothing. Sponsors too have been left feeling disappointed and out of pocket.
Therefore, based on this personal experience, we would urge caution to anyone who is considering sponsoring or having any dealings with this company.

Cancelled event without any warning in Bristol today. It seems to be what this company does. Was my present from my daughter and we are very angry. Having read reviews not expecting our money back and considering the lack of information from LCWW we are wise to lower our expectations. Do not buy tickets or show your cats at /for these events.
UPDATE 15.04.25
Having read your reply to me and checked all emails there is nothing from you . The 10 emails and newsletters are pure fantasy on your part.

Having a 2 and a bit hour drive to get to the venue. I didn’t get any email telling us the show was cancelled nothing on their social media saying Bristol was cancelled. Its a joke zero mention and a 404 page on the website

Travelled 2hrs to Bristol/Thornbury with a very excited 6 year old to be informed by the leisure centre staff that the show had been cancelled. No communication from LCWW

Bristol show was cancelled with zero communication to the customers and apparently WE have to ask for a refund. Absolute scamming bastards.

Excitement is brewing in our household for the next LCWW Show. Bring it on.
I love seeing all the cats.
I love seeing the amazing judges.
I am looking forward to meeting all the lovely cat owners and hearing their stories.

Booked a two day ticket for the Bristol/Thornbury cat show and no email or communication was received to say the event has been cancelled. I tried looking on the loving cats worldwide website and couldn’t find anything about the event. I feel let down and have lost money. I wouldn’t recommend ever booking. It’s a scam

Anyone posting positive AU reviews are NOT based on a real LCWW cat show experience. The shows that ran here in Australia where NOT run or organised by LCWW, they were run and organised by Australian cat clubs. Mr Meserve was only invited to be a guest judge for those cat clubs. Therefore, their positive experiences should be for those Australian cat clubs not LCWW.
The reviews on here are for LCWW, not Mr Meserve individually. Yes, he was charming when he was here, but that does NOT negate what other reviews have stated.
Anyone dealing with LCWW as a business should be very wary.
AU reviews should be read with caution as these reviews are not based on a real LCWW eperience.

We travelled over an hour to get to the venue, only to find out the event had been cancelled. There was no email or any form of communication and honestly I’m skeptical about whether we’ll get our money back or not, based on other reviews. I don’t understand how you can flag this review as defamatory when it’s literally what happened - my girlfriend was crying outside of the venue because she was looking so forward to the event, on her birthday, it’s your responsibility as the event organisers to communicate and let people know if the event has been cancelled.
In response to the response: Don’t talk about your ‘refund policy’ as if you actually follow it. You claim that after requesting a refund, it will be done within 60 days and it’s been over 60 days, with no refund or response to our emails. Shame on you.
