Website looks modern lets hope the ease of use is as good

It was easy to round the website and items were split into sections depending what you were looking for. I found a netbook for my son to help at school - I didnt see any insurance and selected standard delivery at £9.99.
The computer arrived next day and worried about the comment about insurance as I couldnt see it on the paperwork I rang and selected customer service and was advised that the insurance was optional and if not selected it would not be charged.
My son is happy with his computer and I am happy with the service received.

"Free Insurance" sets up a direct debit to your account

Was about to buy a £350 laptop from this website when I noticed that the "free insurance" sets up a direct debit that takes £8 from your account every month until you cancel it.

I'd like to say that I find this type of business tactic absolutely disgusting, and its excactly these types of practices that have been giving internet shopping a bad reputation.

I could of bought the laptop (which was good value) anyway and then contacted the insurer to cancel the insurance contract, but I refuse to support this type of business practice (as should you).

Just bought the same laptop off Ebuyer for £30 more. I would not recomend Laptopshop to anyone, its not worth the saving.
