Published spec did not match the product, expensive mistake
The cable spec shows a minimum bend radius of 7" but the hard plastic tube it is in will not bend. The spool it was shipped on is more than 2' wide, so the hope of using my expensive scheel reel is not possible. I should have called and talked to sales guy before ordering. The Corning ALTOS Outdoor (OSP) Armored Direct Burial Rated Singlemode Custom Pre-Terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assembly with Corning® Glass - Is for INSTALL only, my application is temporary, so I will stake down the hard plastic tube.

Hi Danny,
You ordered armored direct burial with intentions on using it for tactical use? That cable is designed for permanent installation. The breakout on a standard assembly is completely different than a tactical assembly. You certainly should have called us or emailed us prior to placing this order. We would never ever recommend this and it's not designed for that. We also do not state that anywhere on the product page or site. Outdoor (OSP) cable has a polyethene jacket for outdoor permanent installation. It's not flexible and not designed to be deployed and then reeled back up. Tactical fiber has a polyurethane jacket and remains flexible while deploying and reeling back in. We are always more than happy to help with any questions. This issue could have been easily prevented with an email or quick phone call.

It did ship out on April 1st which is within our advertised 4-5 business day lead/manufacturing time. We do state that clearly right next to the "add to cart button." That does not include the transit time to you. Although, we do offer expedited shipping if you need quicker. Also, if you ever have an issue or need something sooner, please reach out to us. We can often move things around in production and ship sooner.
