Very good Customer Services.
Lands’ End UK Customer Services are very professional and helpful (but phoning much more effective than chat in my case.)
I ordered 3 M Supima tees in recent Sale. Lands’ End Customer Services e mailed me with apologies to advise that there was an internal glitch with one of the items’ coding which involved having to place my order again, which was a bit long-winded. I should have taken the e mail advice to ring rather than going on line, especially as the price had gone up! So I phoned Customer Services and the agent was really efficient and personable and sorted out my reorder with the original price.
On sizing, I should add that the Wintergreen version was slightly smaller than the other 2 tees. I kept it but as it was such a lovely colour, I ordered another one in L which was sent out very promptly.

Again an issue with returns
Again an issue with returns; I'm not at all sure whether I stumbled onto a scam website, but I've just been trying to organise a return online. It looks like the real Lands End website, and I went through the process of starting a return with no difficulty this time (phew) BUT then a box came up asking for my bank card details.
A bit puzzling this, since I've always used an intermediary payment system, and on the website's front page it shows the symbol of the payment system I usually use.
The message says that I must pay a smallish sum (£2.70 I think) for return postage????
I've NEVER had to pay a separate sum for return postage, it's always deducted from the amount to be refunded??
I'd be glad to hear from Lands End about this.
Needless to say, I immediately came out of the website and didn't give my bank details.
ADDENDUM: I thank Lands End for their prompt reply; I'd like to point out, though, that the 'upfront' payment was previously in the form of paying the Post Office at the counter, it was never demanded by having to give bank details on the Lands End website - quite a different matter.
They even say they understand my concern - so why do it in the first place then?
Clearly a strong deterrent to returning unwanted goods.
I shall certainly hesitate to order from Lands End in future.

I am impressed by the quality of all the clothes
Although I don't keep everything I order, I am always impressed by the quality of the clothes, and I do keep many items. Not everything fits so some items have to be returned, but I am always refunded fairly quickly.

Parcel care, bloody joke. ongoing
Appalling the company itself I have used since the early 70s however they use the incompetent Evri who’s drivers put parcels anywhere plenty of time. I’ve had to walk the Village looking over peoples gardens ect. to retrieve the items I’ve paid for and the driver to lazy to get out of his vehicle and deliver the. Parcel in the matter he should I have waited by my front door window since the 27th of July till 8 o’clock in the evening so I don’t miss a return parcel. I even had an email today from them saying the parcel would be collected between 12:30 pm and 1330pm it’s been a week of 8 am to 8 pm for me. I’m not the best of health but who cares? No one

I ordered a long green sleeveless dress made in Indian cotton with a band of white flowers embroidered along the top of the front. The quality is very high, although the buttons down near the ankles come off rather easily under pressure when sitting; it is even lined in a thin muslin dyed the same green. It gathers securely around the waist with a drawstring. It was much marked down in your sale as it was the last night, and a really excellent buy on all counts; thank you, Landsend!
