Founded in 2016, LABS Building Services Ltd is a family run business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Our services range from general building to more specialist structural waterproofing, damp proofing, and timber treatments. We have recently opened a shop in the Crookes S10 area of Sheffield, selling to the public and trade a range of damp and timber specialist remedial treatments. We also stock a range of structural waterproofing materials, to enable customers to complete basement conversions to BS8102 standards. In addition to the shop, products can be purchased online and dispatched to you next day if ordered before noon. All products are BBA approved and manufactured in the UK. As registered damp and structural waterproofing operatives we provide warranties and guarantees. We can also provide insurance backed guarantees where required. As a company we are proud members of the Basement Waterproofing Association (BWA), allowing us to use the BWA logo as a mark of quality assurance and conformity to industry standards.

Disgraceful company if I could rate this no stars I would. Just like the other reviews I waited and waited for this company to get back to me about my door they never responded to my texts or never answered my calls. Man made no effort to contact me customer service all round appalling steer clear

These people are full of broken…
These people are full of broken promises. I have been waiting for more than a week just for someone to call me back and so far no one has. Sent images of the area where the work is to be done chased them up twice and still no one has called back. What a waste of my time.

Wasted my time, the inspector was rude and just walked off.
Wasted my time, the inspector was rude and just walked off. No show on the first appointment, after an hour of waiting I called the company and they advised that they didn't show up as they took my mobile number incorrectly, even though they had the address. This excuse didn't make a great deal of sense... The second time they showed up the inspector asked "what is the parking like in this area?" when it is clear that there are parking restrictions in the area as there are parking signs everywhere (Broomhall). He advised that unless I was to pay for any fines he accrued then he would not do the job. I told him that of course I wouldn't and that anyone arranging a meeting in a parking restricted zone would make arrangements prior to attending. He was rude and just walked off. I advised him that he could park 2 minutes away and walk down but he wasn't having it. I employ many tradesman and consultants in the building industry and I rarely write reviews but in this case I am pissed. Don't waste your time or money.

Brendan & team sorted out my cellar which had problem with standing water I received excellent service & support from Brendan who was always available to answer any queries. The work was carried out in a professional manner & I would definitely recommend.

Impressive service!
Very swift response from Brendan in answer to my damp wall problem. He offered a clear explanation and a solution to the issue as well as a very fair price. He was also able to provide a near instant time slot which was greatly appreciated. The team of plasterers arrived promptly, were courteous and friendly worked quickly with skill and cleared away. I am very pleased. Many thanks. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend LABS to anyone.
