My other half is an avid reader on her kobo, so the page turner was a revelation to her, she is over the moon with its ease of connection and ease of use. Worth every penny.

Easy to use, especially when reading in bed. I suspect that the use of Bluetooth reduces the the already poor battery life of the Kobo Ereader.

Astonishingly Kindle have not seen fit to produce a remote control dedicated to their own ebooks.... consequently several third party products have filled the gap. There are two downsides to all of them; first they need a clip clamped to the side of the ebook to communicate with the remote; second, they work forwards but not backwards. The Kobo remote has neither of these drawbacks. Indeed it may even be a reason to buy a Kobo rather than a Kindle. Oh and by the way, it works a treat.

Works perfectly. I use the remote for my Kobo Clara Colour. The remote turns pages forwards and backwards so it is perfect. It would have been better if they had a rechargeable remote control. Also battery power is not indicated. It would have been good to have an indication of battery power for the remote control.

I can have a true hands-free reading experience during my bedtime reading sessions. The remote is feels great in my hand, and the buttons have a satisfying click. It would be nice if it were rechargeable, but I’m sure the battery won’t need replacing for a long time. With the Bluetooth, I do find that I have to charge my KLC more often. This doesn’t bother me much; it’s a bearable tradeoff for being able to read with a receiver in my view.

The remote paired easily with my kobo clara and my kobo libra. I love that I don't have to have a separate part to attach to my ereaders like with the remotes to use with the kindles. Also the back button is a great plus.

Wifi turns on every time I use the remote. If that's a bug, how come Kobo didn't fix it during product testing? If it's intentional, why?? It drains the battery faster. Other than that, the remote connects seamlessly with my Clara. As for my shopping experience: I ordered the remote on launch day Dec 2nd. I never received it. Either Kobo oversold and never shipped, or UPS lost the package, but it was 2 weeks of radio silence from Kobo. I spoke to multiple customer support agents and not a single one could tell me where my bloody order was. I had to follow up multiple times before any action was taken. And now they’re making me chase my refund! It’s way past their timeline of 3-5 business days. It’s been more than a month since I placed my order! Never ever buying from Kobo directly again. Truly the worst customer service and shopping experience. Thank god for the ever reliable London Drugs; I ordered and picked up my remote on the same day.

I love my remote, it connects quickly, is vey responsive when changing pages and fits comfortably in my hand. My only qualms come with the battery, both the impact on my Kobo's battery, and the remote's battery itself. Re remote battery, I have tried to remove the back cover, but it seems impossible without some sort of tool. I feel like this could have been mitigated with a rechargable battery or easier to remove cover, but I will deal with this issue when the battery dies. My number one issue is the impact on my Kobo Clara BW's battery. I read about an hour a day with the wifi off and the backlight either off or at 1% brightness on the warmest setting (I read at night) and usually have to charge my ereader once a month. When using the remote, the battery will drop over 8% in under an hour. I also find it annoying that the wifi setting turns on when I turn on bluetooth, which probably has an impact on its battery life. TLDR - love the product, would love to see an improvement to the battery life impacts on my ereader!
