Had a few minor issues with delivery to a Lithuanian address. I had to call DHS to arrange a drop off in a box as their system didn't recognise my address. But apart from that flawless service.

I found the shop online

I found the shop online, easy to navigate on the site, everything was straight and understandable. Ordered a product with engraving. Looks nice, more options for the placement would be good but it was fine. I got it in time, the service was fast, the delivery group is a different story. I was setisfied.

The update on my order was not great…

The update on my order was not great but it was very good... The only problem I had wasn't your fault I did something wrong while paying for the product and accidentally cancelled payment so I had to order it second time and you had only one piece in stock, so I received probably automatic mail from you that someone else ordered that product before me and I had to wait until you get another one in stock again... but I assumed what was the problem so I emailed you and your manager confirmed my assumption so everything was managed and shipment was proceeded like nothing happened so I'm very pleased it all worked out as planned 👍🏻

CAVEAT EMPTOR - BUYER BEWARE of knivesandtools

I have previously placed substantial orders with knivesandtools.co.uk for Lionsteel and Spyderco knives. The service was unremarkable, yet functional.

For this order I purchased a Spyderco Native 5 knife. The goods were shipped in the usual way. No drama....

However, when I inspected the knife after it was delivered, I found that it was totally unserviceable. The blade would not open or close properly and it showed an intermittent fault where the blade lost it's spring tension when closed.

I corresponded straight away with knivesandtools and received an automated response, then nothing....

Eventually after 2 further emails knivesandtools replied with a series of verbatim, unsatisfactory and incomplete messages, failing to address the issue or answer my questions.

In short, knivesandtools knowingly shipped unserviceable B-stock goods to a UK customer and then refused to step up and provide assistance when the issue with the knife became evident

The correspondent androgenous bot turned out to be a poor substitute for a service agent. Disappointing to the extent of being egregious.

Bizzarely, knivesandtools offered me a 'discount' of GBP 30.00 to retain an unserviceable knife. I declined.

knivesandtools then charged me GBP 20.00 to return the unserviceable goods to their business address. The fee was in excess of 10% of the cost of the knife.

I repacked the item and handed it over to the carrier at a service point. The package arrived at knivesandtools and I received a refund for the initial order costs within 5 days.

I messaged knivesandtools 3 times requesting assistance with the GBP 20.00 surplus charge. No answer. No acknowledgement. No repayment.

knivesandtools 'service' to UK customers is limited to taking customers payment and handing the goods to UPS. Then hiding behind a bot whilst refusing to address the issue and failing to reply to messaging. If you're looking for professional service, buy from a different business.

CAVEAT EMPTOR - UK customers Buyer Beware of ordering from knivesandtools.co.uk

UPDATE: After the review was posted knivesandtools retrospectively issued a refund of GBP 20.00 charged for the return of unserviceable goods, but no apology or explanation. The initial review still stands.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY

Ordered a knife, they took payment straight away. 3 days on they've asked for proof of age, I tried scanning the QR code they sent 7 times, it doesn't work. tried to phone them at 1635hrs after waiting 9 minutes the system said phone lines NOT WORKING.
WHAT A COWBOY OUTFIT. REQUESTED MY MONEY BACK.
BE WISE DON'T USE OR TRUST THIS COMPANY,

Shipping was fast and neat

Shipping was fast and neat . I ordered multiple stuff and it came secured. Last batch got plenty of stones broken but they fixed it for me by allowing me to return to get refund.

Highly recommend

I like that they check knives throughout if you ask them . Knives I order always centered , grind is even etc. Shipping is fast . Amazing experience so far.
