Where can I start from the deals, to the discounts, to the different city options. The Knaek App is the best thing for students! It helped me save so much money on groceries and eating out. And the website discounts, don’t get me started. You can always find what you are looking for way cheaper just by using the app. And the fact that it’s paid is not a problem because IT’S WORTH IT!!!

The app is amazing, especially for international students, since we can’t afford much. By using Kanek I’ve saved more than €150 on the last few months just by doing groceries. I shop for 3 and our bills were always over €30, but with the app we don’t go over €25. Together will all the little discounts here and there, the Kanek is more than worth it!

I had subscribed ones for Knaek years ago. Since then I have been trying to get rid of them but without success. I always unsubscribe and follow their instructions just to find myself next year again subscribed to them and them redrawing money from my account. KNAEK is like a plague!!!

I have used Knaek for years now. It has not only saved me a lot of money - which all students will appreciate ofc - but the discounts also helped me explore new restaurants and cafes that I wouldn't normally go to! The up-front price may look like a lot for some, but you will definitely earn it back with just a few cash back purchases, whether it is food, furniture, clothes, a telephone subscription, or tickets to the cinema! It's easy to use, and the customer service is always fast and super helpful - once when I didn't get my cashback from a purchase even after several months, I contacted the Knaek team and they sorted it out within a few days. I would highly recommend Knaek to all students.

I was able to get a lot of discount and cash back especially for ordering food out on Thuisbezorgd and electronics on MediaMarkt.
The payback is fast.

Back in 2018 at a student festival some guy was handing out forms what what he said was a free student discount card. What he failed to mention was that, after the first year there is an obligation to pay. The guy never explained to us that this was a “legally binding contract” and that I have to cancel with time, otherwise I will need to pay the membership for the coming year. If if you don’t pay, the debt will keep increase.

Nevermind that I’ve never even used this membership and that I’m not a student or even in the country anymore! I signed this form (that was in dutch!) and he never let us know that hey, you are signing a legally binding contact. I think it’s unfair that this guy didn’t inform us or at least translate. He made it seem like something really fun and something that we’d be stupid not to do!

Why is a company that’s supposed company value is saving students money, targeting broke students for their money?

I do not desire your BS service even if it was free. I never reapplied to your service and in fact I cancelled several times, but with the disorganization in your company, it kept showing me as an active member. Also, the links to cancel in the email were BROKEN. I find it pathetic that a company targets students and naive foreigners to try and squeeze money out of them with this contract you have them sign at festivals where students are drinking and where Knaek employees sugar coat the contract and skip out on valuable information. If i ever come across a student signing up for Knaek, I will intervene. I am also considering reporting to the ACM for business malpractice.

Horrible experience. Hassle to use the discounts, moreover, customer service is horrible to say the least. I've been asking to be unsubscribed for weeks because the link they sent me that was supposed to unsubscribe me gives an error 404. Easily one of the worst "discount" experiences so far.

I signed up with Knaek and i was assured that unsubscribing was easy and possible to do. The day after that, realized that I was not interested in what they had to offer and I unsubscribed. It is now been over a year later and I was charged and repeatedly reminded to pay my outstanding balance. My most recent message states that I must pay the amount within four days before further action is taken!!I unsubscribed! This is a scam and my friends from school have also shared exactly the same experience as me.
It is a shame that they target students in their universities.

I signed up during an introduction event for foreign students in my university in September 2018, I was going to be there for just a semester in the last year of my studies and their representative told me that I wouldn't have to pay anything because after the first trial year I wouldn't be entitled to have their service anymore as I wouldn't be a student.

I never used their service and in just a few weeks I unsubscribed from all their newsletters because it was spam with no useful information for me.

Two!!!! years later when I am not a student and not even living in the Netherlands since March 2019, they have written to me that I have to pay them 25 euros for the next year of the service from August 2020 to August 2021!!

According to their own website, only students can have their services but they still try to get money from you and extend the membership without telling you in advance.

Update: after being contacted by Knaek through trustpilot, I got a phone call with one of their representatives and we have got to an agreement for a refund

i never used the app and unsubscribed months ago. they still send me emails and want me to pay for a service i never used and never will.

Is it a good service, ALMOST all the promotions worked for me, but they AUTOMATICALLY take money from you the next year after August 1st. So if you do not cancel your subscription before this time, you will pay 20€ for the next year and there is no possibility to refund even if you don’t need it anymore. It is not worth 20€.

I love the Knaek app and it's services. Being a student, it helped me keep my food and shopping bills economical! I have used it since 2 years now and love how every year there are new offers as well. I would always recommend Knaek to other students.

Very useful for student, its easy to use and it offers amazing disconts. The membership fee is totally worth it :D

Knaek was somewhat useful.
Some cities offered great coupons in knaek, personally saved some money with the app. Would recommend.

within a few purchases your knaek is fully paid off from cashback and differences. highly reccommended

The discount worked just fine in the stores. I like the app!

cashback systems works well but except for that I really not recommend this. They charge you money without any notification. If you want to unsubscribe it, they replied you with offensive words. The customer service also not easy to reach.
