Jack from Keylet was absolutely brilliant, so professional and friendly. His communication was great and he always kept me updated throughout the process. He made what is usually a stressful moving process so smooth and flawless. I’d definitely recommend him and the Keylet team to anyone!

Absolutely shocking service from this letting agency. Had I not committed a deposit to an “executive” apartment during lockdown I would have withdrawn. Throughout the letting agreement process I had to push and remind the agent about follow on actions. On move in day paperwork wasn’t ready despite arrangements being made and then on arrival at the apartment (marketed as an executive apartment) it had not been cleaned. Stale urine was present on the toilets, the kitchen cupboards and oven were filthy, the carpets and floors had not been hoovered or mopped for a long time, the taps were leaking, light switches were broken and there were large stains on the walls and ceiling. What made this experience even more galling is that the letting agent seemed to think this was acceptable.

Terrible company. Did not clean property when we moved in. Said it was “in acceptable condition” then after countless correspondence and wasted time. Refunded £40 for the cleaning. Withheld deposits although we stated in the inventory letter upon moving in that there were issues. They presented this to us at the end of the tenancy and demanded a charge. Which again we wasted time appealing. Withheld our deposits for another properly after offering it to other tenants and never returned the monies to us. Scam of a company, nothing but head work and time wasters.

Low effort around every corner. I've lived with a keylet tenancy for 2 years and at every opportunity they make things as difficult as possible. Just because we're students doesn't mean we're scum you can walk all over. Dirty flats when we moved in both times, and deposit more than halved on exit despite being in better condition than moving in. Reassurances on mould being dealt with with no action for months.

If you have a choice do not rent from Keylet. If you are the parent of a student try to encourage them to go elsewhere. We had problems for the start - flat not ready to move in on first day of lease effectively making my daughter homeless, repeated flooding which went untreated for months, rat infestation which was not dealt with promptly. Very poor service from disdainful staff (With the exception of the maintenance manager).
