Ken Caverns with guided tour
We loved this experience! Our guide Kye was very knowledgeable and entertaining, the caves are worth a visit ( very cool in the current heatwave so if you're a menopausal mum at the end of you tether, go,
take the kids). There is a lot of history, artefacts and finds to see on the tour. Easily accessible for able bodied, not sure about a wheel chair? Only slightly low ceilings throughout until the exit I needed to duck.
The shop was good although out of cheese!!! 😱
But the cafe was delightful, clean and tidy, excellent coffee (decaf available) and lovely food. We enjoyed the lunch we had, and the staff were a pleasure to deal with, thankyou.
Afterwards we did the woodland trail which was entertaining for us, but probably suited towards younger children rather than older teen.
I thought it value for money, especially compared to Cheddar.
