Be aware of the rules.
Is it fair to take non-refundable money at the booking? They believe it's increasingly the norm.
What I would watch out for is that you only get a couple of opportunities to change the booking.
We fell foul of this as my wife became ill, improved and it then got worse again. Despite clearly explaining that it was illness I was told quite curtly that we don't get another go. I imagine that most people use the excuse of someone being ill to change the booking so I do have a little sympathy for them.
On the other hand, having recently taken my wife to hospital instead of Kentisbury Grange, I really wasn't in the mood for their rules and so - shame on me - I was rather rude to them.
