Kawaiies Reviews 

TLDR: I have a total of four items from them. All are of great quality. Shipping can take some time, it takes around a total of 2 weeks to arrive in my country (in Europe) after it was shipped then 1 week in transit in the county. I have had contact with customer service, they were quick to respond and extremely helpful.

Website:
The website is good. It annoys me that you cannot "open a link in the tab" while looking at products and that there is no wish list, but I can go through that. Ordering a product is pretty easy as well, no issues with placing an order or anything like that.

Shipping:
1st: The first time I placed an order with this company was back in October 2021. It took a total of three weeks for the items to arrive. They all came in different packing as it says on the website that they will.
2nd: The second time I placed an order was at the end of May this year. The parcel arrived at customs within three weeks as last time, but this time it was sent back due to an "unknown addressee" even though I used the same shipping information as my last order. This error was the carrier's fault and not the company's. I emailed Kawaiies on a Friday, and they got back to me on a Tuesday. They were quick to answer after that, only taking a couple of hours each time. They resolved the issue quickly, and my order was sent again in a couple of days. The parrel arrived in my country within two weeks, and I got my plushie a week after that.

Quality:
Plushie: I have a total of three plushies from them that I own. All of them are of excellent quality. Perfect amount of stuffing in them, and there is also a zipper so you can open up and take stuffing in or out if you want to. They are very soft and huggable as well.
Hoddie: I have one hoddie from them as well. Again very well made and is still very soft after several washes. It is true to size, but if you want to size up for an oversized look, I would recommend you to do so.

Would I recommend and order again?
Simply yes. After my first order back in October of last year. I recommend this company to a friend of mine. She placed an order on back Friday in November, but she had a little delay due to back Friday and Christmas. She then contacted customer service and said that they were very helpful. She got her package early in January.
I have obviously ordered again, and will likely do so again if I am looking for a new plushie.

There are cheaper websites around, there will always be something cheaper for everything. However, I like the safety that I get with this company that I will get my item and it will be of good quality, and if there is an issue the customer service will help you resolve it. The price tag is not cheap at all, but you get what you pay for and it will be of good quality. I cannot stress enough how much I love these plushies.

TLDR: I've only ordered a plush ferret so I can't speak to the quality of their other merch. As for plushes though, they're not peddling trash but keep an eye out for sales/coupons cause the quality doesn't warrant the price. Also, expect to put in a little TLC work when they arrive and be sure to check for embroidered plastic bits and give them a wash before giving to children. Great customer service in case of returns.

Full Review:

Purchased the standing furry ferret plush (brown version) and finally received it today.

The initial wait time was fine for an item coming from overseas but it was lost in transit the first time, due entirely to the incompetence of the USPS. However, much to their credit, kawaiies did work with me and I did receive a replacement. Also, the replacement process was a breeze - the staff was equal parts understanding & helpful and I was given regular updates as things progressed.

As for the actual plush, it's cute and I've definitely seen worse, but I was expecting much more for the price.

Quick version: the materials are obviously on the cheaper side and the production quality leaves much to be desired.

Long version: The materials aren't horrible but are obviously on the cheaper side, good enough to look great in a photo but a little sad when you actually have the thing in hand. There's also this little patch of fur under the chin that I think is supposed to look fluffier but is a material I've seen on dirt cheap crane game plushes - it just looks tacky and out of place. As for the production faults: there are several places where the stitching pins down the fur which just looks objectively bad and also makes the seams super visible. The cut of the fur is just choppy in certain areas. I also found several tiny pieces of plastic remaining from (I assume) the embroidery process and my hands felt grimy after reshaping the plush. Overall, nothing is really a deal breaker here, and most of it is pretty easily fixed with a little TLC but kinda just feels like there's little to no QA pass during production.

I also have some issues with the shipping. When I placed my order, shipping was twice the price as other small, independent overseas companies that I've ordered much bigger and heavier items from recently and there was no insurable shipping option. I also feel that plushes that aren't super simple and basic like squishmallows need to be packaged and shipped better to preserve their shape.

Fast replies and free discounts by just SUBSCRIBING, they are helping as good as they can. That is how costumer support should work.

Absolutely terrible customer service.
Take ages In getting back to us. Blame the dispatch team for errors , blame Covid list goes on.

This company shipped my order out fast which was great, HOWEVER, I noticed the same product was being sold on another website for way cheaper.
The bag has two versions. I got one version from Kawaiies for $76 CAD as a “discount”. The other website sold both versions for $11.99 CAD. I bought the 2nd version off of that other website and received it today. Both bags are the same quality, so I am not sure why Kawaiies sells their items for so much?
I went to comment about my encounter and said I felt robbed. They did not reply to me with an apology, an explanation, or a “thank-you” for shopping with them. They simply deleted my comment. If you run a company/business, I don’t think you should encourage your customers to stop buying from you, because I won’t be buying from here again. I’m a teenage university student who’s working minimum wage. I just wanted plushies to make myself happy because of my current mental health issues. I also saw that you guys messed with someone’s order who wanted to buy a gift for their daughter who has cancer… The fact that you guys make your items expensive when the quality is cheap isn’t good. These are hard times and you should have some shame at least.

I purchased several pieces from Kawaiies, and when an item I wanted was no longer available a member of the team reached out to ask me if I wanted a different item from that range, or another item altogether - they responded so quickly and have been so kind and responsive. This is my first time purchasing from the store, and I will absolutely be coming back - customer service is wonderful!

They have really great customer service and were super nice, I was never worried about being scammed and when it came, I was not dissappotied at all, the plushies are great quality and super soft and would buy again

I was buying long cat plushies after searching them for a long time for my girlfriend as a gift and i dont regret anything, there were issues with the recipient on the package but it was resolved in great haste

I got a comforter set and it's super cute. It also came with a little extra gift! After I got my package I emailed them with a question and they replied quickly and were really helpful. To summarize I had a great experience and want to order again!

Took forever to get here, which was understandable, but then was supposed to be one of each item in the order, and instead was two of the same item. I got the package literally 1 day before I was set to move.

They had a lot of good stuff but I ordered one larger plushies that couldnt quite fit in the mailbox so usps dropped it off at the door, only he didnt ring the doorbell on this rather insanely windy day so bro flew away and when I emailed they seemed to care and want to get it sorted out but then they stopped emailing back, so rather disappointing outcome.

I have ordered multiple things from Kawaiies and have loved everything! I first ordered a phone case which I’ve been using for almost a year. It’s still great quality and is so pretty! I also ordered a bedding set and rug, both of which are lovely. The bedding set is such high quality and SO soft. It’s my favourite bedding. I would really recommend Kawaiies, their products are so cute and their customer service is great
