Shady company.. I saw an ad on Facebook, so I went directly to the Katuchef website to look at products. The cutting boards looked great so I put a couple in my shopping cart. Wasn't ready to check out yet, but was considering it. The way their website is designed, you have to keep accepting or declining special add-on products and services over and over. All I wanted to do was look at my shopping cart and make a decision.

Next thing I know, it says "Thank you for your order"!! I immediately emailed the company asking to cancel and they told me it was too late. Their words "Our warehouse team has pre-packed, “ready to go” orders based on how common certain purchases are. This means that the only thing that is left for them to do is to print the shipping label and the order is then transferred to the courier. So the process is indeed really quick."

I called BS, which was spot on. Naturally, 5 days later, this order that was supposedly processed super quickly still has not shipped. They have $150 of my money and I have no product. I've now opened a claim with PayPal so hopefully I'll get a refund. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

UPDATE: Now they reply saying they dont see my order. As a matter of fact, it is sitting in my house, ready to ship back for a full refund. But when I email them asking for return instructions, they either delay or the emails bounce back. I stand by my original review. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY'RE A SCAM!

2ND UPDATE: I received an partial refund, not a full refund! And this was only after I opened a dispute with PayPal (which was ultimately dismissed in the seller's favor for some reason). I then opened a dispute with my credit card company.. that dispute is still under investigation. I will fight as long as I have to to get my money back from Katuchef. And my original review still stands.

3RD UPDATE: My credit card company has ruled in my favor, so I've now gotten all my money back. I'm just thankful to be done with this whole mess! Bottom line..... STAY AWAY FROM KATUCHEF!

I was not happy as l only wanted 1 item before you know it they ask do you want this l said no. It went through then, another pop up it kept going on l left site then realise they had debited my account twice in USD another thing l thought it was AUD ended up being well over $220AUD. Had to notify bank as they had no right to process transaction.

Quick response. However, having to take a survey in order to continue return process is counterproductive to the process of making a return and receiving a positive review.

The board needs to be offered in varying sizes.

They charged my paypal account without authorization. I contacted them within minutes of receiving an email from them that I was charged. They said it had "already shipped". That is not possible. Immediately leave the site. They are not legit.

I wish I would have seen this website before I ordered four of these cutting boards after ordering and receiving I requested a return. Cutting boards seemed small and flimsy compared to other titanium cutting board. I emailed her this instructions and terms and conditions to which I then got multiple emails back while offering me 25% off immediately credited then 45% off immediately credited and lastly, 70% off immediately credited to my original payment form. Each of these I responded back. I just wanted to return the product. I was not satisfied finally after my fifth email I received a return address with a very threatening email about how I need to return it. I have included pictures of my stuff with the email return to them just because I’m worried that they’re going to try to say I did not return them in their original condition. Well, this is an update. I’m in February now and now they will not return my money, even though I returned all the cutting boards. They acknowledged that they received them. They were in their original packages unopened. I emailed them twice daily, asking them to refund my money and they constantly say that they can’t refund it because PayPal will not accept the refund when I call PayPal PayPal has never seen a refund from them. Do not buy this product.

I fell for the ad. I thought this would make a good Christmas present. I ordered TWO cutting boards. They charged me for two, and two extended warranties (why would you need that if they are titanium?) which I didn’t ask for. They have not come yet. (12-22-25). I complained. They made a new order AND charged me for another cutting board (just one) and also charged me for two more extended warranties. ONE BOARD WAS DELIVERED, and I have been charged for three. (And four extended warranties) Don’t fall for this.

This company is a total scam, it advertised as #1 Canadian titanium cutting boards so I assumed I was on a Canadian site but no, not even one hour after i ordered, I checked my credit card and everything was in US dollars which makes it very expensive, tried to get in touch with them and like everyone else here, was told it was already shipped even if they say you can cancel within 12 hours. Pure scam, then , couldn’t track it, had to email about 20 times and then surprise, I finally get them, they are so so small, it’s a joke, not what they show when they advertise and if i return them , I will lose a lot of money because I paid in US so I’m stuck with this trash, DON’T BUY FROM THEM, SCAMMERS!

I received 2 cutting boards which were far too small to useful. I have attempted to return them and asked for the right address to return them to. I keep getting replies from Victor but he never sends the address. He just closed my inquiry without sending the address. They are playing games, hoping to delay long enough so I fall outside of their 30 day return policy. I turned it over to my credit card company since this company has no interest in allowing me to return them.

My mum asked me to order her 3 of these chopping boards. I placed the order not realising the value was in USD not AUD regardless of it stating these are Australias number 1 chopping board (so the site knew my location but wasn't transparent on currency). I emailed them within Under 2 minutes to cancel the order and got told these are prepackaged and the warehouse just prints and label and hands them to a courier driver ( like the courier is standing there with their hands out waiting for the next package) and so it's been dispatched already and can't be refunded. Unfooking believable.

Yes I should have checked on this business before purchasing, I also should have gone over the site with a fine tooth comb on the values because they reality is there are bad people/sites in this world so I get a set my own destiny on this one which is why I am adding to this site like other on here saying don't buy here. Buy off Temu or someone else that at least if you can't cancel the order it's only $50 not $160.

These boards are inferior quality - scratched after initial use- highly doubt they are titanium. Much smaller than anticipated, however the dimensions were very hard to find on their website. Way to expensive for what they are. The only positive is that they arrived reasonably quickly. Avoid and buy elsewhere

Scam company. Never order. I am running a story on them and have sent information to ‘Current Affairs’ program on channel 9 as well. Pl don’t forget to watch the program. Modus operandi is to increase the no. of units from 1 to 3,4,5,6 through dodgy ordering platform and charging much higher amount during the transaction. Most people don't realise it but I did. They contacted me to say that error was accidental and 25% refund was offered while keeping the product, I declined, they pushed to 45% and then 70% finally refunding 65%. What they don't realise is that I am a journalist and will run the story and spread it too so that other consumers are well informed. It is a shame that they have been able to get a spot on Amazon (who is highly respected) for selling online. It will impact Amazon's reliability too. They should completely ban this company.

I have been trying to get a refund, no one replies. They have not sent a return shipping slip.

This is my message to them.

I received the cutting board, but per the advertisement, link I ordered from. It was indicated I would receive the large cutting board. Instead i gof a miniature board the size of a sheet an 8 x 11 sheet of paper. I want to return it & get a refund.

I would like a shipping slip to send it back. This is outrageous

UPDATE: the 30 day refund policy ran out and I never got a reply, nor an address. Please do NOT order from this company. They are a scam.

This company is misleading in their advertising. It gives you the impression that their product is in sold in AUD. It does not state to the buyer that their products are being advertised in USD not AUD. I thought there was a law against such businesses practice. Upon purchase they bill you and charge your PayPal account in USD NOT AUD.
To add insult to major injurie they some how increase my order by a further 2 units that I DID NOT order. And I had NO OPTION to cancel this.
Apparently according to PayPal once you commit to buy this company loads an automatic payment method to your account. I had to get PayPal to stop this.
I tried in vain to get PayPal to cancel my order and reverse payment but no joy.
I strongly recommend to all future customers to avoid dealing with this company. Be VERY CAREFUL !!
This company and its business practices should be fully investigated by FAIR TRADING.

Having ordered chopping boards for£45.95, the bill came in at
£262.37. Hidden costs. The company failed to cancel the order despite me contacting them within minutes and have taken the full amount. Do not buy from this company. It is a scam.

when I click on Pay Pal, it finshed my order and added $$$ for an Extended Warranty (not authorized) and NO choice or shipping type or address. Big scam
