Do not use their digital passport service

Do not use their digital passport service you might end up with an unusable image and no refund.
I recently used this service and when I uploaded the image they had taken it was rejected on the grounds that it was blurred/out of focus. When I contacted Kamerahuset they tried to correct the image but the edited version they provided was still rejected. I contacted them again and they did not respond and because the application was urgent I had to have new images taken that were accepted immediately.
After chasing Kamerahuset for a response they eventually responded blaming the British passport application system but offering to take new images even though they said there was an 85% chance the image would be failed again. I explained that I had already had to have new photos taken because they did not respond ealier and that with only a 15% chance of them being usable anyway I would like a refund since they had failed to provide the service that I had paid for. They have refused to refund me so I have been forced to make a charge back case with my bank.
A really poor quality service and terrible customer service that I strongly recommend you avoid.

what an unfortunate case. If the bank wont give you your money, then go the the shop and they will refund your money on your credit card.

Vulgar and bad employees

I bought a lens from kamerahuset.dk online but payment would be at the shop. They had a campaign for some lenses for giving 750kr cashback. When I buy it online, it was shown a 1500kr discount for the final price. I called and I asked about this discount and also I asked how the cashback campaign works. They said the final amount is the one shown in the online shop and after your purchase, you will register your product on the producer page and they will send you back the money and it can take 2-3 weeks. So I thought these two are different discounts. I waited for the product for 4-5 days.

When I went to the shop to pick it up the item, they said there was a problem with their online shop and it showed the discount wrongly. I said I called you 2-3 times and once I asked you about especially this issue and no one told something about it.

The real problem started when one of the employees called his "boss" to talk to me. I explained to him the issue again, and I said why you didn't tell me this issue on the phone because I had a chance to go for another product. He started to talk vulgarly and he blamed me that I'm trying to trick them. He even didn't say sorry and continued to speak aggressively. Several times I said I didn't know your system is broken and he said "you definitely knew and you are trying to trick me". This guy is the worst employee that I've ever seen in this country, he doesn't know how to communicate with the customer and blames people. There was nothing to take it personally.

I stopped discussing with him and I bought the lens. They offered a basic filter as compensation for the issue but I refuse it because the problem was no longer about their broken online system, there is no compensation for attacking people personally.

This place is a joke..

This place is a joke... i made an order back in November, but several weeks after the scheduled delivery date, I still hadn't received anything. When I contacted customer support, they offered absolutely zero help, and said that the list package was somehow my responsibility. Don't buy from them.

Do not develop and scan your films in kamerahuset.

Worst place in Copenhagen to develop or scan your films.

Once I got my scans with full of dust and hair piece on top of my films, it was incredibly bad scans plus it took for them to develop and scan approximately three weeks and I was visiting the shop couple of times to ask where are my films and they couldn’t answer me. I told that I will never visit this place again but I visited!

So this time it took two weeks for them to develop and scan it, I did not get my scans though cause they made a mistake in my mail, hopefully I will get my scans soon. The most funny part they folded my films so much that it is impossible to make a clean scans at home any more…

I never ever recommend to go to this place! Essentially if you are working with analog photography!

Sold my item to someone else

Item was not ready for pick-up when promised. Had to wait a week because they accidentally sold it to someone else, even though they confirmed two times that the item would be ready for pick up that same day.

Great service, fast delivery, lowest price

Ordered a Sony a6000 on Wednesday evening, got it by post on Friday morning. Great service, all e-mails were good, packing was good, now it's time for me and my company to enjoy the camera. Thank you Kamerahuset, you also had the lowest price I could find on the Danish market.

New lens for my Nikon

Looked for new lens for my kamera for few weeks now and finally decided to buy it. After price compare the Kamerahuset was the best, I ordered on the web (evening) and following morning I got SMS my order was ready for pickup. During the pickup the sales guy was extremly helpful, gave guidance and advices. I will come first to Kamerahuset in the future.

Great price, quick delivery.

I bought a lens from Kamera Huset's website and it was delivered the following day. My purchase was after I compared the price of the same lens with other camera shops and found that Kamera Huset had the most pocket-friendly option.

The danish experience!

Thank you very much for helping me finally getting the camera i needed!
After visiting many different stores with no success in finding a camera, i asked my
fellow journalist friend for help since i have very limited knowledge of Copenhagen.
He told me to go here, and so i did! And oh boy did it turn out to be a great choice!
I went to their Nordvest store, and was met by some very helpful and nice people.

Sadly, the person first serving me wasn't able to help, so he send help for his colleague. And out came my hero! At first i was not sure what to expect of him because of his firm face, but one thing was sure - this man knew everything there was to know! He guided me through the my different choices, the different brands and finally we landed on a sony a6500 - what a beauty! I sadly do not remember his name, but one thing for sure, he is not only the best of the camera salesmen have talked to, he was genuinely helpful! That is why i leave this recommendation on both Trustpilot and Facebook!
