The teachers are great and the lessons are interesting.

I have enjoyed watching my Daughter thrive. She is done so well with her grades and staying more on task than it was when she was in public school. I'm so blessed that we found this and are able to use this platform. I recommend it to all of her friends.

This school really helped my kid to improve his reading and the teachers are very supportive. They are friendly as well.

This year has been the worst year of all my daughter's years with online school. The new platform has been horribly confusing. My daughter has been lost and confused. All my attempts to reach out to all her teachers and counselors have not helped. She is failing classes and the only ones she is passing are the ones where I have to provide very intense coaching. She used to have confidence in her school work and now she is confused and feels helpless.

The teachers and staff are amazing and we absolutely LOVE the curriculum.

I love that there are many options for electives. The platform is easy to use. I also love the options available for F2F events.

Ease of everything

Our experience with OHVA has changed our lives! My student has special needs which I thought would be difficult online but it was the complete opposite. Mr. John McDonough is INCREDIBLE!! Jace’s teaching team is amazing!!! Jace has all A’s right now which boosted his self esteem so much that he attended his first face to face field trip this year!! The flexibility of allowing a working parent to work and come home and also work on assignments with their student is amazing! It allows me to work but yet still be involved 100%. This team focuses on the positives and continues to work on weaknesses without making them seem like weaknesses!!!! This is actually a huge thing with a student who has a background of trauma. Even though Jace is online he is NEVER treated like that, he is treated like a child who wants an education but struggles with being in person. This team lets him know they know he is there but never pushes!!! They never criticize or put him on the spot, they let him come to them!! The new dashboard is AMAZING!!! I hope that you would kindly forward this to the team because they are, OHVA is, AMAZING!!!! THANK YOU!!! I can’t wait for next year to see more growth in this beautiful child who is completely UNSTOPPABLE because of you!!!

We've been with OHVA for a long time and we love it!!!

OHVA allows my child the freedom to get a quality education and pursue interests beyond the classroom. He is not confined to a building and is able to learn at his own pace. Teachers are easily accessible and the materials provided for learning are of high standards. We love OHVA!

OHVA has been amazing!!! And the program is great and super easy to navigate!

We just love ohva the staff and teachers are absolutely fabulous, so much good support groups for my kids. My kids are so smart from going to ohva.

As a parent of K12 online school student, I find the curriculum, communication, and overall learning environment to be commendable. Overall, I am genuinely grateful for this school. It has helped my student significantly, and I would recommend it to any family willing to stay involved and keep their child on track.

A good school overall with supportive staff, though it gives too much homework, offers limited breaks, and it happened to be unclear or slow with previous art competition result. Despite being free, it provides enough quality to feel worth paying for.

It gives my kiddos alot of freedom!

My family has been using OHVA for 6 years now. The teachers are great, and the children learn so much. The high schoolers have great opportunities to further their learning and prepare for graduation. The elementary children have such a healthy environment for them to learn and grown in. I recommend OHVA to everyone!

The homeschool program has made it very exciting for both my children and myself with their understanding and being able to take time with the students unlike the brick and mortar schools, I find my children happy to attend classes and happy to talk to their teachers unlike with my oldest who was pretty much terrified from bullying in the brick-and-mortar school that she used to go to and I'm just grateful that my son doesn't have to endure the same situation as my daughter did! We find comfort and happiness with the teachers and with the school in general because they feel safe knowing that they can do this at home and that they don't have to worry about lockdowns and they don't have to worry about School shooters and they don't have to worry about other kids trying to bully and harass them, our experience with K12 the ohva is nothing short of amazing we are extremely glad to be Cardinals and we are extremely happy to know that the quality of work that the staff puts in to their curriculum and the time that they take with students is wonderful.
