The platform is very user-friendly, and the curriculum for each course is very comprehensive; my daughter has been there since kindergarten and is now moving up to third grade, and the teachers are always helpful.

Curriculum, supplies, teachers and staff are all stellar! A much better atmosphere than public school in our area.

The online school is a saving grace. I don't know what I'd do without this as an option. The teachers are very kind and helpful. The online classes and assignments are easy to navigate.

I love the fact that my kids can not feel well and do class work later in the day. I have a child who has a IEP so they offer more help

The flexible schedule offered with the flex program my son was in made transitioning into kindergarten a much easier time for my son. All his teachers were very friendly and patient with the kids (and parents) as we navigated the program through out the year. All the support we received from the teachers and staff was tremendous. My son enjoyed answering questions and collecting coins in the skills arcade. The games were a lot of fun for him. He really struggled reading with Amira. He didn't like that the stories didn't have pictures. Amira also had a hard time waiting for him to try and sound words out which frustrated him. Overall I am very satisfied with the program and we are excited for the next school year.

My daughter feels more confident and is active meeting new friends. School is not too overwhelming and challenging.

Soooo much better than our local school. Our son is at least 2-3 years ahead according to State/Star testing.

We opted for FLEX because it takes many teachers 15 minutes or more to get the class focused for actual learning. I personally sat in a couple classes and found it to be unorganized and somewhat a waste of time. Some of the apps that the teachers use either have issues or the teachers don't use them correctly and students get the short end of the stick. I think the apps are sometimes used in place of actual teaching. We thought that if a student did well they could move through the curriculum and my son would be challenged but we found the program to be easy for him with little time and effort so I am not sure of the learning that took place. We will not be returning because we do not feel it is a good fit for our child.

I like that my daughter has confidence and is able to work at her own pace.

It has been a great experience for my son. It allows him time to do his work at his own pace and allows him time to help out on the farm.

K12's teachers have classes of 200+ students and yet they're always available for questions and know each and every child in their classroom. They've all been willing to help when there's a technical issue and search for resources when they don't have the answer themselves. The K12 OLS is organized and intuitive. My daughter has had no problems navigating the different areas and making it her own. There's no shortage of events that K12 invites the kids to - mostly virtual but a few in-person. The counselors assigned are knowledgeable and compassionate and make themselves available. Loving ISWAK12!

Excellent support during challenging time. Teachers and staff have been wonderful as we navigate through a difficult time at home. Extremely understanding and supportive.

I don’t think there is actual effort from certain teachers. Some will actually speak in a way to make students feel like their disability makes them not enough to succeed in assignments. The change of platforms was a massive disservice, and just a cluster. If Insight school of Washington was the option for students with IEP or 504, then that should be explained to the teachers that shlup their YouTube rhetorics, and overly Liberal opinions. Also, when an IEP or 504 student has retention problems the teacher should be informed of the situation before the class even starts so the student isn’t inundated with the overwhelming amount of reading and going from site to site, platform to platform and then asked to write or remember ALL of the information from all of these places about something they truly won’t ever use in everyday life or are being censored into believing one side and they can’t express their true opinion which is just sad.
